    hi ladies,

was jus readin a few of ur posts, and thought maybe its time i moved over here.

i've been ttc for 14 months now. am on the last month before we go to the dr and try and get some help.
my name is hannah, i'm 30 years old and my newly made husband is 22 and called nige!

wen we first decided to try for a baby i honestly believed it would take about 3 months not bloody this long! however i am a lot more chilled out about the whole thing...used to be a bit obsessed and now i don't even test near af, i just wait til she shows.currently on cd 20... i think i ov around cd 15/16 which we bd'd loads around. the only thing thats been different this month was wen we did the deed, my hubby said it felt different (sorry tmi for my first chat with you all) wen he came, he said usually it feels like his stuff jus kind of hits a wall but this time he said it jus went straight up me, wen i went to the loo after my long lay with legs in air, nothing hardly came out, which is very unusual so i'm thinking my cervix was open, so fingers are very much crossed but i'm not holding my breath!!

i've had pulling feelings down there about 2 days afterwards and my boobs are solid and v sore.

know i'm SS already but it does feel different........oh yeah i've jus quit smoking too so symptoms could be part of that

anyway thats enough about me for now, i want to hear your stories

    love hannah xxxx

I have come over to long term as we have been TTC for 18 months....was v v v obsessive - more so when my SIL go pregnant by accident...GGRR

Im 34 and hubby is 36 and we are TTC no 1

I have just been referred to the fertility clinic after doing some blood tests at the doctors which showed that I ov'd one month but not the next...

hubby has done the SA test and he has what he likes to call - super sperm !!!

I went on New Years eve to our 1st appointment - we went throught all my background (had a MC back in 2004)

they did an internal which showed up that I had PCOS on one of my overies - Im going in for my Xray on Wednesday for my tubes to be tested....what the next step after that is I have no idea !!!!!

    good luck...xxxx

    welcome hannah,
im stacey im 22 next month and hubby is 24 next month too, we have been TTC no1 for 39 months now (3yr and 3 months) hubby has low sperm count. we were refered for ICSI but the regulations say i have to be 23 to start the treatment. so we are going to appeal the age limit next month when i turn 22 and see if the PCT will allow us to go a head a yr early, if not then its another yr wait!! then the waiting list too but we'll get there eventually in the meantime its fun TRYING!
i hope your stay here isnt a long one

    Good morning!

I've had a quick look through the olser posts and I think it was you Hannah who posted on TTC saying it "felt different"! Ah, the confusion of so many differerent forums!!

Anyway, hi Hannah, nice to "meet" you, and as Cupcake says, hope your stay here isn't too long.

My and my husband have been together for 10 years, married for 2 and a half and TTC since then. I had an ectopic in April and following the 6 month ban on TTC (due to medication from ectopic) now we're back trying again.

Hope you've had a good weekend and are enjoying the snow!

    xx

hi, thanks for ur responses, yeah it was me who posted that in trying for baby forum.
i'm hoping my stay isn't too long, however being talking to a friend today who says her sister has been ttc for 22 years... wow. had all test ivf everything and nothing has happened for her. she went to see her last nite and her af this month is 18 days late so my fingers are crossed big time for her. after 22 years she has stopped testing and jus waits. bless! i thought 14 months was long
nice to meet u all and wishing you all good luck too xxxxx

    Hi ladies.

Thanks to a tip from RachieS I have found my way around this...yes, I am new to this as well. I posted my first blog on another board so wont go into it all over again. To cut a long story short I am nearly 30yrs, married and been with my DH since I was 19yrs old. I have an undercative thyroid and my pituitary gland didn't develop as a baby- consequently I do not get MS naturally and have unexplained infertilty (I wish some1 would tell me what the bloody problem was)! Two failed IUI's later and I am going to discuss private IVF treatment on 4th Feb. On a positive note, I did respond well to menapor (i think that's how it's spelt) and hubby had a 'higher than average' sperm count when last tested (he lovd hearing that)! It's great to hear all of your stories, good and bad and for me, it grounds me to know that i'm not the only 1 in the world TTC and to stop feeling sorry for myself! Although I have learnt that allowing yourself down days is just important as the good ones. Hopefully, we will get to share more good ones as time goes by. Keep your chins up girlies xxx
