    Hi all
Hope you dont mind me posting in here but really could do with your advice. My story so far: TTC since Nov 09 Mc naturally in March had spotting in may which i thought was first period then spotting again in june and beginning of July then mid July very heavy bleeding sorry tmi so thought this was first period but this month have had spotting again. I was referred by doctor to have ultrasound which came back inconclusive so had a gynae appointment today which basically has left me sooooo confused and upset. They are saying that the lining of my womb is thick in one place and it could be tissue left over from mc which could be causing irregular periods. however they took a biopsy which in itself has scared me as im thinking cancer! i stupidly had a look on the internet and seems like everything is pointing to that too. just wondering if anyone else has had this or something similar and could give me a bit of advice. She said to continue trying but scared that this may have caused me to mc in the first place. Please help:cry:

Oh leanne, step away from google, it's not your friend!

Our bodies are so complex and so many things going on down there and I think cancer is the last thing it is my lovely.

When i had my ectopic i googled it and the crap it came back with so upset me and turned out to be rubbish.

Take a deep breath and wait for your results. I doubt they would be encouraging you to ttc if they thought it could be cancer. It's just that word biopsy that is making you think that x x

    Hi Leanne,

Although I'm a Vet Nurse, at a cellular level, we're all pretty similar and there are so many other outcomes to biopsies than just cancer. If the first thing that they have said is that it could be left-over tissue from pg, then that is most likely. I know its ridiculous to tell you not to worry about it, but do your best. I am sure that if they had any worries that it would be bad news, they would have fore-warned you and definitely wouldn't be telling you to keep ttc xxx

As the others have said please dont google symptoms on the internet it always has worst case senario. They didnt say cancer so you should assume it is not.

At my first fertility appt they told me i had pcos, then i got bfp the following month, when fertility clinic phoned me with results from bloods etc they said i wasnt showing ovulation but i didnt have pcos!!! WTF, i am pregnant so must have ovulated. Id also googled pcos in pregnancy and all these websites came up saying increased risk of miscarriage (up to 45%) but when i asked doc he'd never heard of this and he checked reputable sources and nothing came up.

What i am saying is just try and relax as best you can and enjoy the BD, what will be will be and stay away from internet!!

Good luck with everything, hope you get what your wishing for xxx
