    I got my clomid!!!!

I would have checked in sooner, but i have been so happy, me and hubby have had a weekend to ourselves relaxing and generally just having us time as this baby making thing drags you down alot and as you all know i have been so depressed lately and PMA was truly lost for a long time!

I had my fertility clinic appointment on Friday and they took some blood and gave me the tablets away with me, which i was 100% positive they wouldn't, but she said they would phone me the next day with blood results and if all ok i could start straight away! Needless to say OV or AF didn't show up as on thier way, so i can safely start! I was so happy, but so annoyed at the same time as i could have got these THREE months ago, but the consultant was a cow. The nurse said she didn't know why i wasn't given my clomid chat sooner and prescribed then! ARGH, but anyway, im back on track now!

I feel so happy knowing i am FINALLY getting the help i need.

Only downside is, i have to have an internal scan on day 12.... :\( BUT i am willing to do anything to help us on the way to having our much wanted and loved baby!!!! They want to check everything is okay and then i'll be given blood tests to track OV from there on.

Can't tell anyone apart from hubby & a few best friends as no one knows the pain of us trying to conceive for over 3 years, so needless to say i am so happy and have to share with all you lovely ladies!

Im about to get back to my weekend of foot massages & big cuddles from my hubby on the sofa with Sex & The City movie on repeat and start reeling that PMA back in!!!

Great news TinyT!! You sound very excited!!! And as Sianni says, don't worry about the internal scan, it doesn't hurt and isn't anywhere near as unpleasant as a smear.

Hi Ladies, thanks for lovely replies!

I just know i am going to have a fab xmas now as getting the clomid has lifted my spirits alot. I knew if i wasn't allowed it i'd be depressed and not happy over the festive period and i didn't want that for my gorgeous new hubby & friends, as lately a few people have been concerned about me not being my usual self..... (if only they knew the half of it!)

When i told my best friend, she burst into tears, bless her, she know's how much i want this and being a mummy to two beautiful wee boys she know's how it feels to want children. I did have to tell her not to get too excited as it may not work for me, but it's just the knowing i am getting help lifts our spirits!

    Anyways, enough about me!!!

Socks, thanks for your kind reply! How are you sweetie? Are you still not feeling in the christmas spirit? I wasn't too and felt the exact same as you with everyone having their own little families, and we don't but want one so bad! Hope you are feeling a bit better. I am praying next year will be your year too!!!! I am also hoping this time next year we will have a wee christmas pudding of our own ;\) xxxxxx

Hi Sianni, i have had a scan before and i didn't like it one bit, hence the apprehension for the upcoming one, but do you know what, it was the cow consultant that done it the last time and the next one will be done by my lovely nurse, so i will feel better knowing it is someone who is nice and not someone who can't be bothered finding the time to think of people and their emotions! Hope your well and taking care of yourself after your wonderful BFP! What a fantastic Christmas pressie for you sweetie!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you hjanea, Mrs Hopeful, Hales0403 & Angelfish for the replies, you all are just so lovely, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
