Some times I think I can see a super faint line. They are very sensitive though so if pregnant you should get a decent line. Also some of the eBay cheapies have life damage to them, you can see the test strip is not smooth on them all as they should be

Last year I bought some of those on eBay and I share the opinion. I also could see this vary faint line and not all of them where best quality. I was not pregnant at all and it was driving me crazy to see FAINT POSITIVE :/ even though I knew that's a false, couldn't help myslef but to get hopes up.
I also tried the ovulation strips, that on the other hand was confusing. Any time, and day I took them, I got a decent positive. Ended up testing every day during my next cycle (about 62 days). Each day was positive.
Now I am not sure if there was something wrong with the test or was it just my PCOS that was mixing up the test results. I did however went on and did some scans to double check my ovulation process, and there was none on that. I know I had none, but hey I would have beat myself up if I didn't go and check this out.
Since then, I stayed clear of those cheap once. It's hard and I am not patient person.
Now I will be using only FRER, as those never lied before.
I hope that helps.

Thanks for your replies ladies I know what use mean sometimes them tests are very hard to read as people say a positive is A positive for with them tests sometimes you think you can see the faintest of lines so now I always double check with a digital x

Yeah with these one steps only use them as a guide and unless you get a decent positive line don't believe it.
I also have the one step opks and struggle with them but not sure if that is because I too have pcos
