Hi. Yesterday I was full of beans after getting my 21 days bloods confirming that I OV'd. DH & I baby danced at right time etc etc Then after having THE crappest day at work I come home to find AF has arrived!!!! I am only CD26 12 DPO! What does this mean? I have PCOS and have a normal cycle of 50 to 56 days. This was my first cycle of Clomid... confused by such a short cycle?! Any advice gratefully received. I thought if anything Clomid lengthened your cycle.. On the positive I haven't wasted any of my CBD HPTs!!!! xxxx

hiya...... i would say that this is a positive! Clomid should actually be helping to regulate AF, so it's good news in a way!!
I know what you mean about BD at the right time but it's only your first month on it so give it a little time and hopefully you'll get your BFP soon x x
    I'm sorry i can't be more helpful but i do think it's a positive thing x

    Hi hun,

Did you us ov sticks??? - You're af will arrive 14 days after you get a positive on the sticks. Maybe you ov'd early on day 12. I found the more clomid cycles I did - it would lengthen my cycle - first couple of times I ov'd on day 14 - then day 16 and 17ish. (as had a few months fell pg, ectopic - lap and dye - then second lot clomid for 5 months - now referred for IVF).

I also found that I would spot for a day before af - never normally happens. Also af would be light - and clomid is supposed to thin the lining of the womb.

Make sure you have a full flowing af day and count that as day one before you start taking your next round on day two.

Good luck with this month hun

    Hi Ladies

Glenns*Angel - I know that you are right, just have the to be expected blues of disappointed. I am very pleased that I have OV'd and my cycle appears to have reduced etc. I wasn't expect the miracle first cycle BFP but I suppose always had that element of hope. xx

Mummywannabe - Yes I did use OPK and got a positive on CD14/15. I had the temp dip etc so all the signs did indicate CD14 as ovulation day. Thanks for advice re flow etc. Tonight I am really only spotting but I have the cramps and I swear you could fry a plate on chips in my hair , so sure it is the evil witch  xx

Loubylou - Thanks sweetheart. If I follow this cycle next month I will ovulate on my b'day!! Wouldn't it be lovely to conceive our baby on that day?!! PMA PMA PMA xx

Oh hon, sorry to hear that, sorry to ask a daft question but, are you in full flow, are you sure you didnt ov late and could this be a late implant, ive been reading up about it, and some girls get it as late as the day of expected period... just something to consider if it seems light or short?

Not trying to get your hopes up, i know you know your own body... On to next month, Ive got a feeling i might be joining you shor tly.

Treat yourself to something nice and let hubby spoil you.

    Hugs

Okay hon, but if it seems to stop quickly or different from usual just keep an open mind..

The other thing i wanted to say which you prob already know by now is your pregestrone was great. Mine was also 56 i think, apparently anything over 30 can sustain a pregnancy, the higher numbers dont mean much, and dont indicate a pregnancy. So your good to go again...

think of this as a trial run

Hun I know you must be disappointed but the good news is that your body is starting to regulate itself and get into a normal pattern which must be good news for conceiving....prob next month I say....fingers crossed xx
