    Hi ladies,

Just rang docs for results of day 21 bloods and receptionist said "satisfactory, no further action!" Would have put money on that my probs have been due to low prog as seem to have all symptoms etc. and also this mth don't think ov? No peak on cbfm but continuous highs for 12+ days until stopped doing sticks as too expensive just to tell me same thing and no def rise in temp!

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Em J xx

Can't help but didn't want to R&R. I've been for mine this morning so waiting for results.

Why don't you make an ap to see the doctor who arranged to have them done and explain your concerns.

I would either make an appt to see gp or have a telephone consultation with him to discuss results and your concerns xxx

Those results from the Drs suggest that you did OV. I am sure that they will be more accurate than OV sticks. They were exactly the same words that I was told when I called for mine. I guess that you had the 'highs' on your CBFM and it missed the peaks cos the tests would have shown if you didn't OV.

Ring the Dr with your concerns. Where are you in the process so far? Has your DH been for tests yet?

    Hi ladies

Thanks for your replies, to be honest I feel like I'm bugging the doc now as he really doesn't seem too interested!

Mrs Hopeful- Yes OH been for SA and all ok, we have a copy of his results and all above average. I've had an in depth smear to check for infections etc and all ok, also an internal pelvic scan which showed ovaries to be fine, right size, shape etc and no cysts. Only prob was the lining of the womb a bit thicker than should have been at that stage in cycle. After a bit of reserach this said could be due to hormonal inbalance which I thought has been prob all along, too much estrogen and not enough prog! But obviously not! My gp disn't seem too concerned about that and I really had to push to see what the next stage was, which he has agreed to refer me to see a gynae (appt 11th June) also had to push for day 21 test and was sure that would tell me answer to prob but no!

Thanks for your advice, I'm tempted to call in today and ask if they have a print off of result? Then I can check to see what blood count is.

What stage are you up to ?

    Love Em J xxx

Oh Em J - how bloody frustrating!! You seem to be doing all the right things. I think the trouble with GPs sometimes is that they are just that, General Practitioners and fertility isn't often an area that they know a great deal about. I am sure you'll get more help from the Fertility clinic and 11th June is only a couple of weeks away now.

I have had two lots of 21 day bloods done and both came back fine. DH has had SA and his came back a little under average on count and motility so we have since been to see the fertility specialist. Waiting now for another SA for DH and an HSG for me (being done on 29th and 30th June) and then we go back in August. Have now got to point of resigning myself to the fact that these things take a while and there is lots of waiting!

Good luck at the clinic and try to keep your chin up, easier said than done, I know!

    hey honey
The fertility clinic told me that GP's aren't that great when it comes to fertility tests, they never know/do all the correct tests.
Good example of this was my liver function test had to be redone due to GP only asking for basic tests instead of the detailed one that the fertility clinic need! Same with oh's SA, test GP requests is no where near detailed enough for what the clinic need in order to make decisions.
You should get proper answers when you see the gyna, just a pain having to wait!
