just thought id pop in. i had mc just before christmas and untill now was feeling horrible. but just to let you know once first four weeks down your body really does get back on track im hoping af comes soon (i think so cause im emotional) so ill be relieved. its a really hard time for women because all these questions in the air. all i can say is once you up to it get a project ,health home ,job whatever it does make the time go by till you get that magic af. i have my counselling appt on friday and im not missing it no matter how good i feel. also after mc the hospital gave me a candle to light in memory and also a poem .they really made me feel my little bean wasnt forgotten and gone. i now have a little angel statue in our bedroom .i have three big kids already but it still is a stab when a little one doesnt make it. cry all you want but dont forget to live as well. as andrew loyed webber says your country needs you!!!!!lol

counselling the best thing i ever did. my husband is a very private man and wasnt keen but he went with me and he said it was great. i heard things i never expected please go if it is offered. my counsellor was a charge nurse but who had three mcs and knew the whole emotional thing. we both said the same therell always be someone missing from the table. you have to allow that frief is different for different people you learn to live with it but carry on. your body wont let you forget you should take their advice and ill tell you you will feel more motivated and positive. you cant live in fear that it will hhappen again life is for challenges good and bad. If it happens again at least i now know how my body will react and know how to deal with it. be positive

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing that on the forum. I was so scared that worrying about this happening again would put me off (and other half off ) and really spoil the whole experience in the future but Im determined to try and not let this happen.

A agree with Claire, I've been ok for a while then today the pregnant girl at work was asked when her babies due and it was the same as mine should have been and my heart sank (she doesnt know about me) but hearing the date and knowing Ill see her go through everything I wont was tough!! Anyway Ive picked myself up and am telling myself I will go through it one day it just wasnt meant to be THIS time. You never get over things we just learn to cope a bit better each day with them. I lost my husband 5 years ago and never ever thought Id meet someone else or ever be in the position to have a child, I have learnt to cope with his loss but its hard. Experiencing loss again with the mmc was a real challenge but I'm determined to think positive and look to the future again! We will have our babies and we will love them and cherish them all the more, Ive always been phobic about child birth but now I dont care...I just want to be there! Take care of yourself and keep in touch.

    Inka xx

hey there ,a wobble will happen it still hard for me to hold a baby but you know i hold on to the fact that its a matter of when. i heard that chineeses used to treat women who were trying with accupuncture too .apparently it releases negative energy and gets the body in sync and thousands of years later ,there must be something to validate it. so go for it claire and just take a breather now and again and accept you are in pain ,its the first step. my pma is winging its way by express.good luck hunxxxxx
