hi ya, i was diagnosed with a missed miscarraige yesturday. I was 12 weeks but baby looked 8, with no heartbeat. Devastated. We had tried for baby for nearly 2 years and had had our first appoint at fertility clinic before finding out I was pregnant.

i have til tues to decide to let things go naturally, have pessery or have d&c.

I dont know what im going to do.

Dont think i could face the whole ttc shit again.

Aw Im so sorry to hear of your loss I totally understand what you're going through,as I had a missed miscarriage last June. I too couldn't decide what to do but within a week it happened natuarlly so took the decision out of my hands. I had just decided to have the d&c as I felt in limbo and couldn't move on until it was all over. Im sure you will come to the right decision for you. I don't think either way is easy, but I do know things do get easier. Take care aand I hope things work out for you. Remeber you are not on your own and its good to keep talking about it xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi so sorry you are going thru this. Like VixV I had a mc a couple of weeks ago and it does get easier to deal with.

I was so worried about the choices but decided on d&c to allow me to move on quickly.

The op was so much less painful than I expected, although I was terrified but didn't know anything and other than some cramps afterwards would never have known anything happened.

We are here if you have any questions or just want to rant.

The ladies in this forum have been a godsend for me to help me either with questions or advice. I have a good PMA about ttc again.

    Sending big hugs. X

Ahh hun I'm so sorry for your loss. I decided to have a D&C only because I had such bad morning sickness that I couldnt keep being ill knowing I wouldn't get anything at the end of it. Also I just wanted to move on. Just make sure you know what you want and do the best for you. Sending you lots of hugs xxx

Thank you so so much for your replies girls. Its been an awful time for us.

We have decided for d&c as we both want it over and done with, there's less chance of your body making an infection and it is more sucessful than other methods. Plus we want baby dna tested as it is offered to us. Just to know. There maybe some sort of an explanation for this.

We plan on getting away for a day or two later this week all going well. Then hopefully we will be lucky.

    Thanks, xo

Just an update, Had the d n c on 4th may, it went fine. Got appoint with fertility clinic today and been told i need 2-3 blood test as i might have PCOS!!!!!!!!!!

I cant believe it, I have hardly any symptoms, slight facial hair, irregular periods, sub fertility and a miscarraige after a fetal heart apparently point to PCOS!!!!!!!!!!

If it is diagnosed i may be put on clomid later this year. I feel like its bad and good news.

Has this ever happened to anyone before??

hello, I was prescribed clomid yesterday as im really irregular. My blood tests came back normal so consultant said I prob have mild PCOS, which is quite common. Its good that something is being done for you and I think once you find out either way you will feel better what ever the outcome. I felt tons better just going to see someone about whats going on. I am going to try the clomid. I have been reading up on it and it has a high success rate. the only hting is there is 10 per cent chance of twins. Good luck with things and it is positive that they are testing you and there are ways round things so the clomid may just be the trick. Good luck, let me know how you get on xxxx
