Miscarriage & pregnancy loss

Hi im just wondering if there is anybody out there that is in the same boat as me...
I am on my 4th pregnancy after have 3 recurrent miscarriages. I lost all 3 babys at 6 weeks but never found out untill i was 12 weeks pregnant and went for my first scan. With the last m/c i ended up having a D&C as i was in extreme pain and it turned out i had a bad infection in my womb and got rushed into a&e after i fainted.
Im currently 5 weeks pregnant and im getting very nervous, im also getting extremely paranoid when it comes to go to the toilet (checking im not bleeding, sounds daft i no)
I had tests done to see why this keeps happening wich all came back clear.
Im considering going for a private scan just to put my mind at ease as i dont think i can wait another 12 weeks and just hear the same deverstating news.

So sorry to hear what you have gone through. I suffered 4 early miscarriages within the space of a year. It was awful. Slightly different to you though, I knew I had miscarried each time as bled at 5-6 weeks. I got referred to a recurrent miscarriage specialist, and despite all my early blood tests seeming fine, they found out I had Poly Systic Ovaries, even though none of the other usual symptoms. I was treated with metformin, which I took for 3 months. Amazingly I fell pregnant again in April, and like you was so so nervous. I had early blood tests to check my hcg and progesterone levels, and it showed my progesterone was going down, so they prescribed me progesterone pessaries. There would have been no way I could have waited 12 weeks for my first scan though! I had one at 6 weeks in EPU, due to some spotting, then a routine early scan at 8 weeks, which was amazing, and also the 12 week scan. I have been so nervous each time, and still so worried about how it is all going. I have my 20 week scan booked for 8th August, so just praying that is okay too.
Sorry to have gone on so much about myself, but I really hope this pregnancy goes well for you, and would definitely recommend an early scan. Fingers tightly crossed for you!xx

Hi, thanks for sharing with me, im happy everything is going good for you and i understand how nerve racking it is but im sure everything will all be fine
I have a scan on monday (should be 6weeks) and i have just had another apointment come through for the 15th august.
When they check my hormone levels they dont actually drop, they were still really high when i had my last m/c. Took 6 weeks for nature to take its cause, but got an infection so ended up having a D&C.
Hopefully everything will be fine on monday, this week has been the longest week of my life!.
Best of look for you and hope everything is well xx

hey, im ok thanks you? i went for my scan and only seen the sac it was measuring at 4weeks so was too early to see anything at that time. My cycle is actually every 6 weeks so they said i was more than likely only 4weeks pregnant and had nothing to worry about. I have another scan on the 15th when i should be 6weeks to see if everything is progressing. I didnt know that if you have a 6week cycle you have to take 2weeks off lol, if everything is fine i will be having another scan at 8weeks and another at 12.
Ive got a cyst on my left overy aswell which they said is nothing to worry about and everything looks fine, so this week is going really slow! I had my first bit of sickness after my dinner yesterday which is a good sign i never had any sickness with my other pregnancys so that put a smile on my face lol.
hope everything is going well for xx
