I was expecting a delivery from Amazon on Friday. Letters arrived but no parcel, or 'you were out card'. The postman had however marked one of the letters with a symbol that I think usually means that there is a parcel for the address. I've looked in all the bins as sometimes they leave stuff there if you are out (but also still post a card to let you know). Still no parcel today and amazon have emailed it as dispatched. How long should I wait? what do I do? I haven't been able to catch the postman to ask him in person.

Sometimes amazon parcels take 3-5 days to be delivered here after they are dispatched, also sometimes some deliveries are by Royal Mail and others a courier.

I think Amazon make you wait up to 2 weeks and then dispatch again or refund. I once scored a free DVD by insisting on a refund, only for the DVD to arrive two days later. Ha

thank you. I didn't realise it was so long after dispatch to delivery. I've just re read the amazon email and it's estimated delivery date is Friday 14th June, not last Friday.

You would think it would be quicker, atleast it's still more than likely enroute and not missing.
