Chez had his 'nose job' today and although it was supposed to be a day case, they've kept him in. This is all from the Xmas illness, he's had his sinuses cleared and had to have a septoplasty to drain them, so two procedures in one op. He's looking rather attractive with his nose bandage, bless! But has high BP and his nose was still bleeding quite a bit because of the BP.
He's been told to have 2-3 weeks off work though, which is up to Easter, so we may actually get a holiday 'ill-free'!?!? Get your fingers crossed now girls!

Never mind the children...think I may be dumping the husband himself! lol
Thanks chick, Grandma D should be coming tom when I go and fetch the nose-bagged one!
Just spoken to him and he's starving!
And for the rest of you, the 'entertainment' on the ward Zoe's referring to is an old man who's been exposing himself! He's a right sweetie, but I'm glad I'd left b4 he started doing that!!

    Thanks girls!
He's in Royal Blackburn Liz, nowt 'royal' about it, other that it's a royal pain in the arse trying to get him discharged!
I'm waiting the phone call to collect him...and if it's not sorted by lunch I'm hubby-snatching. It's abs ridiculous how long you have to wait to get some bloody tablets. What's wrong with the pack he has in his locker?? Oh no, it has to be a new one. Can't tell I'm slightly p'd off with this can you?!

The entertainment continued through the night, resulting in not much sleep for Chez, which makes me laugh cos the bloody doctor said he should stay there "to get a good night's rest". yeah right.

    Want him home now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor Chez - hope they don't give him the same medication as 'the entertainment' got!! It might have the same effect - not a problem for you but you might have to explain it to the neighbours!!

Hope you get him home asap! xx

Oh bless him! Hubbies grandad and Uncle have both been in the Royal over the last 12 months and they both had problems getting discharged too. Don't know why it takes so long! I have a friend who works there but as a physio so not a very useful contact in terms of getting someone discharged lol!

Really hope he is home now and gets a good nights sleep tonight - flash free lol!! xx
