    hey girlies,

just wanted to write a quickie as haven't been on in ages! just had a read through all the posts and my god ive missed a lot!

my last few weeks have been crap!

fin was poorly now wakes early again so i just seem permantly tired!!! my car broke but in a major way and needed new engine, cambelt etc... hubby didnt have much work on as self employed so we were struggerling, i agreed to work overtime at weekends and on days off to try and earn some more but just sooo tired haven't done it this week! had a funeral which was a friends partner they are a bit older than us 40 but she had rcovered from breast cancer and then died suddenly of blood clot - awful and scary!

also had a moment few weeks ago now about worrying that me and hubby never seem to DO IT if you get me! so i text him saying so and he text back agreeing and saying we ust make more effort - anyway that month i had stopped taking pill for month as was getting headaches and though it was the new pill he new this so when id txt i wrote back saying sorry for teasing as i wasnt on pill so sooo shoukdnt go there! anyway that night we did it - and then i have been waiting to come on... i was expecing to have heavy period as not on pill etc and it didnt come so did a PT and it was negative but since had faint blood when wipe but thats it (sorry TMI)

The scary thing is although im soooo broody i actually was soooo worried i was - as were not in position as no room until extention is built (done nothing with this apart from dream about it), money wise and childcare wise couldnt afford at mo!!!!

anyway just started taking pill again to see if it sorts itself out - suppose should do another test but thats prob just silly! (OH AND HUBBY KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THIS)

now im poorly and feel like i just want to get in bed for a whole weekend!

fin is good and seems to learn something new every day at the mo!

his new words are hat, bye, shoes, papapa, he has also said things randomly but then never again!

he has learnt where his nose, tumy, mouth and head is - soooo cute!

he says poo - has said it when done a poo, or when nappy is wet and full and he gets his changing mat!

how are your little ones doing??? and you mummies!!!??

Oh star I'm so sorry what an awful time you are having atm, I'm really sorry about your friends partner and I hope you all have a lot of lovely support around you. I'm glad fin is doing so well, how is it going with the patches? Zachariah is ok, always getting up to no good but no speaking to date, a LOT of jibberish though!
Don't want to scare you with the pregnancy thing but I'm pretty sure if you are pregnant you shouldn't be on the pill so if you're in amy doubt , I think if I were you I'd really get it checked out asap. Not certain but can't drs get results quicker. I am also really broody nut like you not sure of timing etc but all I can say is whatever the result we all cope with what we have to so I'm sure you'll be fine. Sorry this is a messy rambly reply as I have a rather demanding little boy atm . Thinking of you and hope your luck changes very soon.

Oh Charlotte, I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time, wish there was something I could so to help - or at least be closer so I could pop over and give you a big hug.

I'd lend you my hubby if I could to come and fix your car as that is one thing he is very useful with! With his old Volvo he was actually told to scrap it as it needed such major work doing to it but he managed to get the parts and fixed it for only a couple of hundred pounds. It was a major job too and involved most of the engine being removed!
I really hope you get it sorted anyway and that it doesn't cost you the earth.

As for the pregnancy scare as waiting4baby says I know that it isn't perfect timing but if you were you would cope and it would all be fine so please don't panic too much. I'm not sure about taking the pill if you think you are pregnant but I have heard of people still having periods when they are on the pill when they are infact pregnant. If you are in any doubt I would definately get another test or go and see your GP. The light bleed you had could have been an implantation bleed. How late are you now in theory?
Obviously it could be nothing at all to worry about and just a side effect of coming off the pill but you need to know for certain hun. Also, I really think you should tell your hubby about it so you have some support from him. It took two to tango (so to speak!) so it is only fair he should share the worry and at least you can then talk about the 'what ifs' and maybe calm your fears a little.

I haven't let my hubby near me for months, feeling a bit guilty but I am just so tired when it comes to bed time that it is the last thing on my mind. Plus i have had loads of pressure low down from the bump and my bits have been quite sore - sorry for tmi!!

Fin sounds like such a clever boy! Bren is babbling away all the time but still isn't saying any real words other than 'dadda', the odd 'mama', 'hiya. He shakes his head when he doesn't want something and he gives me a kiss to say sorry when he has been naughty! His latest thing is to make aeroplane noises and pretend his toy cars are flying!

You take it easy this weekend, sounds like you are totally worn out so if you get can hubby or someone to take Fin off your hands for a day so you can get some peace and quiet then do it!

Sending a big hug your way xxxxx

Oh poor you, what a few weeks to go through.
I agree with the other to take another test to be sure and also that you would cope no matter what. I too have been getting bad headaches with the pill and have changed it 3 times...the latest lot giving me a week of headaches and 2.5 week of bleeding (sorry tmi) so far. I'm so p'd off with it all that if it doesn't settle soon, I'm off it for good! No probs atm as can't actually do the deed whilst chez's nose heals (too much pressure and all that lol) so i'm takin it for no reason!
It's pants this credit crunch malarky...bet the bigwigs in suits don't even feel a pinch! We've sold my car as we still owed ??6500 on it, 0% finance til Oct10 but it's still a lot o dosh! And we bought our new one wi what we made on selling it and the tax back owed. I feel better now we've done that as that's ??327/mth better off.
Things will get better soon hopefully. Glad Fin's ok!
    Chin up x

Sorry youve had it tough hun, really hope things start to look up for you soon. Thinking of you!
I recently changed pill as i must have tried about 7 already and they either give bad headaches or make me really depressed. Finally think theyve cracked it now by lowering my dose of something, and upping the other thing (lol-cant remember which) on this new pill. Hope you get the result that is right for you lotsa love xxx

    Charlotte,

What a lot in just a few weeks. TAKE THE TEST! That's probably not helping stress levels and making you feel even more ill. If it s positive then you'll be happy, because you'' be having a baby and things will work out somehow. And if you're not then you'll be happy and think I want another but in a few years when Fin is at nursery and the childcare bills are reduced!

I look at other new borns and go all sqidgy inside I'd love to borrow one and just sit for an hour smelling it's hair while it's all curled up in a fetal position but I just couldn't imagine having a big bump and dealing with Oakley and I couldn't imagine how I could give enough time to each of them ... that being said I know people do! I have a 10 yr age gap between my 2 and am planning on another big age gap. Prob 10 yrs too! That's if I don't decide carribean holidays and lie ins win over baby. Sometimes I think of the cost of one child and think what I could do with that but then the thought of never holding a baby again (that's mine seems so wrong) and how can yolu put a price on it anyway....phew that was longer than I thought! Sorry:lol:

    Hi.... hope you're ok xx

I do have an odd broody moment but not as much as I used too - three is definitely my limit though....Nearly 14 years between Tristan and Fee was too much - Fee was a real shock to the system!! I like the gap between Fee and Bryn though x

Charlotte - how you doing now? We've found that Noah is waking up just as early as ever with the dawn chorus. Thats so awful about your friend dying. How is her partner coping? thats so devastating, just the thought of losing dave is too much.
me and my hubby rarely do it either. I'm just too knackered and never feel like it.
I don't get broody at all. noah's still quite babyish compared to a lot of lo's his age and i'm quite happy with that!

Hi Julesy - i'm good actually think i was having a blip and feeling poorly didnt help everything gets to you doesnt it!
Fin seems to change every other night - he will sometimes sleep from 7.30 through till 6.30ish and then we have nightmare nights where he wakes for no reason in night and just cries till i give him bottle and he sleeps with us - then other nights he wakes early! i can't see it changing anytime soon as he eats well has one good sleep a day, is walking running and out and about tiring himself out all day so not much is going to change to improve it!

We haven't seen him - he has his own children etc and has been with them and as me and hubby dont go out drinking much anymore and that lot do we dont see them as much as we did a while back before fin!
fin has sooo lost his babyness - think thats why i get broody! he is so grown up its scary - bring back baby!

Sleep deprivation is the worse thing ever never mind being poorly as well! I'm glad you're good.
At least your friend has his family. it would be terrible if he was on his own.
