Feel a bit worried about posting this just in case you all think im a bit wierd and i know a lot of people go onto a computer to stay anonymous but just wondered if maybe we could try and get together one day?!

I know it might freak some people out and id completely understand if you thought it was a crap idea (and i wont be offended if you all thought it was wrong!)

It would take a lot of careful planning as we are all over the place! including Norway Liz!!! I dont drive but dont mind taking the train.

I feel so comfortable writing to you lot, as if i know you and we certainly have no secrets left after Kias confession

    What do you all think?

Suz - no I don't think you are weird.. after all... I have been to america to meet online friends. Not completely crazy - I met one american friend over here first and I let another friend vet him before i let him come to my house.

and nope you guys certianly can't get worse than me..

I guess the starting point would be to figure out where everyone was and figure out where people could get to.

I have to say that this site has been my lifeline, correction-the dec mummies have! Its so hard talking to nonbaby friends-you can see in their faces how bored they get.

I just thought it would be good to see all the los and for all the mums to have a good old gossip! + tea + coffee + cakes lol

You dont think it would shatter anyones illusions on who people think we are (if that makes sense!)?

I live in the South East (Herts)

Holly - I still talk to them from time to time on msn - and one of them sends me parcels of american goodies I met them through playing an online computer game- don't have time to play it any more though!!

Suz I know what you mean about shattering illusions - I think you can form an impression of people that isn't always right.. its always interesting to do that when you meet up with a guy who's been playing a girly elf in online computer games and you associate that picture with them

I'm crap with directions but live in north west (Junction 33 of the m6 - i can generally figure out how far away people are if I know what motorway to use!!)

    It's a great idea Suz!
It would also be funny to see how different we all look compared to what we all think we look like, if that makes sense?!
Very strange but hubby said last night (amid the Kia revelation!) 'you lot will meet up one day'.
Even more strange, i had a bizarre dream involving me going to uni in America with my mates from uni and we met all the ladies from Dec mums!!! We were all wearing cocktail dresses (?!) with not a lo in sight!

Now, I'd def be up for a meet up WITH los! I can travel and am in the middle of Kia and Holly about 30 miles north of manchester. Mummybec where are you? I'm in Burnley atm.

Would be good if we could meet when Liz's next over?? Also if Em's up for it, her in laws live well near me so if you visit them we're nearer together than you being near Plymouth area!

Oh get me, geography is not my strong point (don't have a clue where you live Suz other than 'down south' lol) so i'm not pretending i know our fine country ar all! I can meet anywhere.....America anyone?!!!

Sounds like a brill idea - I'd certainly be up for it - Ali - was thinking the other day that when I'm 'up north' I could try and arrange to meet a few of you as I remember there are a few dec mums up that way..... not sure when I'm going up there but inlaws are always saying I'm welcome to come up with the kids while oh is working. - also eldest stepson is getting married this year (how old do I feel??) and he lives up there too, so I'll be going up for that.... I'll be easy to spot - old fat one with long dark hair wearing black!!! lol

Well we could always try a bit more of a local meet up first couldn't we if organising a big one is a bit hard - i think theres a bunch of us in the north west and a bunch down south.

I think we might be doing a london trip soonish for bil's stag do so meeting you lot if its doable would be the perfect excuse to not go paintballing and leave Cole all day with the inlaws - cause that is so not happening!!

Its good to see so many wanting to meet up. Im quite excited actually (i have no life-no offence!)

Hubby is very good at geography as he travels all over for work. so what i'll do is write down where everyone lives and see if hubby can get a sort of central location.

We're waiting on you Liz! If you fancy meeting up then let us know any dates you might be coming over and we'll go from there.

Know what you mean ali-i have pictures of you all in my head so it will be very funny to see how wrong/right i am!!!

Mummybec - my hubby's going for a job at a special school in Oldham!
Em - next time you're up you n the kids'll have to join me n mine at the reopened softplay area in Colne....tho Tristan may find it a bit boring! They do have laptops there tho!

lol Ali - Tristan doesn't come with us anymore - it would interfere with his social life too much & he couldn't be away from his girlfriend for any length of time!! But yep I'll let you know when I'm up that way next x

Awww you mean you don't all fancy coming over to Norway?! lol! Shame!
Well my inlaws live over in the NW in Helmshore near Ali so that would probably be the easiest meet for me. My parents live over in Yorkshire but doesn't sound like that is near anyone - other than Jillycat who I think is in York.

We haven't booked any flights yet but we are planning on coming back to the UK in the summer, most probably the end of July/ first week of August. I will talk to my hubby tonight and see if we can get some flights booked!

Should be interesting if we can work out who we all are! x

I think it's a fab idea and would love to meet up with you all.
I'm in the midlands (Rugby) and can travel easily. I'm right near M1 and M6 so North or South would be fine for me.

    How exciting!!!

can i be a part of your gang! pleeeease.
(might have to admit to hubbie this is where i spend all my time though - he doesn't know i've got into the wonderful world of mummys online! don't fancy him finding out where i moan about him and his mother heehee!)

i think i'm all on my lonesome in s.wales, but my parents live in shropshire which would bring me slightly closer to the north end.? Again geography and me - no!

well as for illusions maybe i should say some more things about myself to give you a better impression heehee

i am not a perfectly put together mum
    favourite clothes: jeans
    shoes: trainers or flip flops
hair: nearly always a mess, straighteners - when would i have the time, don't have the patience either!
designer labels: wrong size, generally wrong price tag lol!
size: well.... lets just say i'm not a 0 lol!
so, cocktail dresses alioli, heehee! sorry -
