I'm useless at remembering things, where abouts in the country are you and how far do you want to go? I know a few places but pointless telling you if they are way too far to travel!

I rang center parcs once and asked them for cancellations and got an ace deal! Bit cheeky I know but!!! (woman on phone wasn't that nice) but they have to try and fill the park up.

I know you said no to skeggy again, have you tried the Haven website - there last minute deals tend to be quite good and you could do - yarmouth, north wales, scarborough???

lol, well you will be more than welcome once our basement is converted so we have more room as our sparebedroom is a bit cramped the mo and you can't fit a cot/travel cot in. Got to sort that out before Brens little cousi comes to visit!

I found loads of good deals on www.hotels.co.uk for our trip around europe so it may be worth a look on there? x

swede - what a fab picture!

I'm doing the sun holiday again this year - ok so we're going in october and not bank holiday weekend but we had such a fab time last time. zach loved it. Its less than ??40 for the week for all of us (mon - fri) or they do fri-sun. extra for entertainment and electric but it depends where you go on what you pay.
we went to a really great place and had to pay ??5 each for entertainment (not Noah tho) and about 20 quid for the week for the electric and gas.
Its really worth it to get away for a few days.

any of the larger places may have spaces that they will let cheap at the last minute but I don't know about bank holiday weekend. Is there any other time you might be able to get away for a few days?

    No probs!
The full board consists mainly on eating lots of apples and red currants though if that's ok as we have loads to pick in the orchard! Bren has been trying to help me but he prefers trying to eat the red currants than pick them!
On the plus side my hubby does have about 20 litres of red wine and 40 litres of beer currently brewing in the basement! x
