dd was absolutely fine following the mmr last thursday until yesterday. she woke up from her afternoon nap in a foul mood, not happy on the floor playing, not happy having a cuddle and so on. didnt eat her dinner and only had 2oz of milk before bed. while i was bathing her i found a rash on her tummy and chest, looked it up on google and it said that 6% of children can have a rash after the mmr (looks like measles rash). she went to bed early at 6.30 but woke and happily played in her cot in the dark for 2 hours then finally dropped back off, didnt want to get her up nad bring her down hoping that she would go back to sleep quickly.she woke up at 6.30 thiss morning and again was in a foul mood. refused breakfast and was generally a moody mare. went to sleep for 30 mins at 8 then again for 2 hours at 10. she has a temperature so had some calprofen and it is coming down slowly. she has eaten about 1/2 of her lunch. she has just gone back up to bed again.hopefully she will be in a better mood when she gets up from her afternoon nap.

I hope she's feeling better soon. I've heard quite a lot about reactions several days after the jab. I'm still trying to decide when will be best to get C's done so any reaction doesn't spoil his mood for xmas, especially as he's not been in the best of health the past couple of weeks. I think it should pass within a day or so, I hope it is over for you soon.x

couldnt get her temp down all day at one point ti reached 39.5 so called the out of hours. while we were waiting for the call back she was sick (all over daddy for a change). they called back and said that we needed to take her down to get checked at 7pm. he said that based on her symptoms he is going to treat her for swine flu so has given us a bottle of tamiflu for her.was so shocked was convinced it was a reaction to the jab.
