Owen will be going into 3-6 months clothes soon but I don't have any babygros or vests so would need to buy some.

My mum thinks I should get Millie's old ones out and even if they are pink put them on him as nobody would see them as they are for bedtime and I am wasting my money. I said no chance she argued that Men wear pink these days but I don't think its the same

I just couldn't put my little boy in pink. What do you think

Ooh now that's interesting! I don't think I could bring myself to put a little boy in pink, even if it was just a vest and for bedtime. I'm usually a practical person (it's just a vest, it's not going to cause gender confusion issues or turn him gay, etc) yet I'd feel funny about doing it & I'm totally unable to explain why!

Glad I only bought neutral vests now so I never have this dilemma! What are you going to do?

Aw bummer of a decision to have to make.

Juliet has lovely blue eyes and dressing her in blue would really bring out the colour in them BUT I don't because I don't want anyone going "awww. what a lovely little boy" cos it REALLY anoys me when ppl don't realise she is a girl hahaha

BUT...if it was under clothes, I'd do it yep. He'll be a little trendy mite...fashion-forward!

I can't do it just have to have a trip to primark for some cheap ones.

Lizzie just put a big pink bow on her head then there would be no confusion although some people do surprise you!

Now I want to say YES, I'd dress one of my 3 in pink if it wasn't visible, but I really don't think I'd be able to!!

When it was Alex's 1st birthday in October last year we bought him some "In The Night Garden" vests as he liked playing with Casper's ITNG toys. Not sure if any of you are familiar with ITNG but there is a character, Upsy Daisy, who wears a red, pink, yellow dress. She's on one of his vests and I sometimes think that that's bad enough for a boy and it's only a tiny little motif that no-one sees!

Asda are really good for cheap sleepsuits and vests. I think you can get 3 vests for less than ??2 and 3 sleepsuits for less than ??4. Bargain!

I was given loads of boys clothes before Abby was born and although she wears some of the bodysuits at bedtime it's only because they have got cars and planes on them. Most of the clothes I've put in the attic. I have bought her some dinosaur bodysuits but I secretly wish they did pink dinosaur ones.

I always dress Abby in pink if we are going out because I think she looks like a boy but, as bubbub says, people still refer to her as a boy.

Anyway back to the original post - I have to say that no I wouldn't dress a boy in pink. I might put him in a pink bodysuit at bedtime if the others were in the wash but that's about it. There are such sweet boys clothes out there I wouldn't be able to resist buying them.
