Bit delayed posting this but Eddison was weighed on Tues and he's gained 8oz in a week.
He's BF so I'm immensely proud of myself.
Eddison was so little when he was born (6lb 8oz) that I'm really keen to fatten him up and was worried that my breastmilk wouldn't be rich enough. My eldest was 8lb 10oz when he was born so I wasn't so worried about weight-gain as he was more substantial, LOL.

How are the other BF babies getting on?

    Hi Liz

Well done! Sounds like you are doing a fantastic job

Olyvia was born early and weighed a tiny 4lb 11oz. She only lost 20g after birth, less than 1% of her birth weight, which the Neonatal doctor said was practically unheard of!

At her first weigh in at 2 weeks, 1 day she'd gained 7oz and at her next one which was on Tuesday she'd gained 9 1/2oz in a week! She's one from the 2nd centile for weight to the 9th!

Olyvia is also BF so like you I am really proud too! :\)

    Love NN and Olyvia xxx

Well done pixie_woo and nattynik sounds like babies are doing really well. HAd Emily weighed yesterday at 4 weeks exactly and she is 8lb110z. Was 7lb5oz at birth and 7lb60z at 2 weeks so has put on 21oz in the last 2 weeks 1.5oz a day! (we expected 1oz a day from what health visitor said). Also measuring spot on average for her development so we are also doing well. Reassuring really as she often only feeds for 10-15mins and no longer and frequently less than 10 mins. Also just starting to get a routine (I hope) as had 2 consecutive nights with a 5 hour stretch 9.30-1, and 10-2 so things are looking up!

Yeah for BF! So nice the hear the LOs are thriving.

MrsRed I'm so jealous of 10min feeds. Eddison feeds at least 25mins but it's not unusual for him to feed 40mins!
