Hi everyone. I Had an episiotomy when i gave birth in Jan and i'm still a little uncomfortable during intercourse. Also, i had a period earlier on in the year, but nothing now for about four months. Does anyone have any advice?

PS not pregnant, did a test today.

hi mitsy i had a third degree tear after i had my lo in jan and i still get a bit of pain, my doctor doesn't seem concerned think our bodies just need time to heal.

are you breastfeeding, this could be why you're not having periods if not, not really sure sorry i've not been much help x

not sure if some of it could be due to tension from stiches and how you have healed etc?? I had episiotomy first time and 2nd deg tear this 2nd time around and considering all things not too bad but we all heal different. I think i get period pain when it should come but no period yet as still bf so hard to tell. It certainly wont affect having any more kids ie labour and delivery etc incase you were wondering.
