emmy-lee has to have her first injections tomorrow and i feel so sorry for her! she's got really bad swollen gums (nice health visitor, not the one i hate lol, reckons she may actually get teeth in next month coz of how bad they are :\( ) and she has a really bad cold that she's only just starting to get over too.

i'm dreading next couple of days as she's so clingy with feeling crap to start with, without having injections too.

do all babies get cranky n grouchy after them or does it just depend on the baby? have any of the jan babies who've already had theirs been totally fine after or have they all been grumpy too? :\?

Emilie had hers today. She screamed during the injections, fell asleep after but now 4 hours later she's been screaming like hell so I just gave her her first taste of Calpol (yummy). She's now over my shoulder sniffling like I do when I've been crying! Bless her

She's also really jumpy, I walked up to her chair and she literally jumped out her skin! Never seen that before!

Anyway it asn't as bad as I imagined, just have the calpol at the ready! Oh and the syringe that comes with baby Neurofen is better than trying to use a spoon!

Liz and sniffly Emilie 2 months 1 day x x

emmy-lee was pretty good actually, she didn't start crying at all until the first injection was over andn she realised she was getting another one haha she's also not really been too grumpy or that which was good, she never even had any paracetamol or anything coz i didnt think she was cranky enough to warrant it lol

good luck for next week hun! and i hope audrey doesn't get too upset or cranky for you xxx
