    hi guys!!!
well after harveys long awaited hospital appointment they mostly told me what i alreay knew but what nobody wanted to listen to me about!!!
seems he has astma, which i asked them about when he was 3 months old, and he has had whooping cough which has left his airways irritated.how could the docs not know it was whooping cough????
so now instead of pumping him full of useless antibiotics he finally has some inhalors and a good dose of steroids which i asked them for weeks ago but they said he wouldnt need!!!
i think doctors need to realise that mummys know their children and do sometimes know best because the answer `its a virus` is just not good enough and harvey needent have gone through 3 month of coughing and not being able to breath if they had just looked into what the cause was.
rant over but they make me so bloody cross!! arghhhhhhhhh!!!!!
    lots of love vikki xxx

OH F**k!! Thank god you finally got the help he needs tho. Poor little mite. My son Chris (nearly 15) had whooping cough despite having the immunisations. He was about 18 months. He was kept in isolation room in hospital for a week. The whoop he made at the end of coughing was the most frightening thing. He too had asthma diagnosed from a very early age and had some scarey times. He is (touching wood as i type) a lot better now.

Hope he improves so you can enjoy your gorgeous little bundle.

    hiya
the thing i dont understand is why the doctor at the surgery never knew, she only ever treated a chest infection...for 3 dam months!!! it makes me sooooooooooo mad that she ignored all the facts i told her about my other children with different breaing problems they have had and surely she should have been able to diagnose whooping cough!!!
the thing is she is a new doctor straight out of medical school (she also looks about 12!!)
well at least now its a step in the right direction and after the meds we got from lanzarote he is like a new baby!!! the best ??80 ive ever spent!!!
    love to you all xxxxxxxxx
