I have just been reading the trouble with milk post, and noticed there is only 10days between Mia and Aimee. And like Mia Aimee also only ever drinks 5-6oz of milk, never any more, and is also in a 7 til 7 routine. So im just wondering, how did you know to start weaning??
Im due back at work in Sep and back to 4days in Oct. So i would like her to be on her solids when I go back, so when people look after her she is already in her routine of breakfast dinner tea.
But im just unsure when to start, as i dont want to spoil it if shes really not ready!! So how do i know when to!!?....
Reading your routine tho I think Aimee will fit nicely into the same one so i will copy you!!!

    hey there.
mia just started watching me eat alot. i tried her with baby rice first but she hated it so i personally wouldnt recommend starting with that.
i started mia on lunch, gave it to her after her milk bottle so that i knew she had had as much milk as she wanted. if you give the food first she may not drink any milk. at first we had more spat out than we had go down her throat but keep at it.
after 3-4 days i then started her on some breakkie. i gave her her bottle at 7 when she woke up and then once i was sorted and downstairs i give her some breakfast...at the moment she is having a rusk mushed up with some milk as she hates the babyrice. from six months i think i read you can give them readybrek so will try that in a few more weeks.
then again after another 3-4 days introduce some food after her tea-time bottle. at the moment mia is having a pudding after her bottle late afternoon.
hope this helps. its a lot of fun at first as she will prob spit more out than anything.....get some of the bibs that have a little tray attached at the bottom to catch all the food......the food has stained so many of mia's clothes its unbelievable!!
