Hey ladies, did any of you have a pregnancy cyst during early pregnancy? I went for an early scan a couple of days ago and they mentioned it then, however, I am starting to get real pains on my left side where the cyst is.

    Any advice? :\?

Hi, I had one with my dd. To be honest it didnt really cause any issues and I cant say it caused any extra twinges other than the "normal" ones. If i recall correctly the sonographer said theyre pretty common early on due to the flood of hormones.

I'm g/c from DIF. I've got a cyst and had one 2 yrs ago that was removed and they think I'll have to this removed too but not until at least 6 weeks after the birth.
They are very common early in pregnancy and it is due to the massive increase of hormones, more often than not they disappear on their own - it will be checked at your next scan. If they were concerned about it they would refer you to a consultant so you would be monitored a bit closer. I am under a consultant but the cyst is shrinking slowly so I don't have to go back until the end of november.
If you keep getting pain from it make sure you mention it to your midwife. Please don't worry - its very common. xx
