    Hello ladies

thought i would just see how everyone is? what everyone is up to? who is back at work? TTC? pregnant etc

well my mat leave finished last week but i have not gone back to work as childcare was more thani earned so i am doing holiday cover only which means the boys can come with me (work in after school club) no cost and a friend will have toula

def feeling it a bit now toula getting older that she is my last one hubby had the nip but hasnt worked so has to send sample again in aug before we have all clear!

weight watchers is on hold for a bit as DS3 has got to have tonsils out and he is so poorly can hardly walk anywhere so the walk to weigh in is too much but i only have 4lbs until same as was before toula x

    hope everyone is ok

How nice of you to ask!

I'm not going back to work for the same reasons as you, and it would be very complicated as DD1 is going to big school, DS is in Year 3, and of course there is Lily, and Hubby works shifts!

We are just budgeting and being sensible (and doing the lottery!) I'm living near my Mum for the first time since 1994 so I'm enjoying her being a proper Nan to Lily, so that's a bit of a novelty. My Nan is poorly with Bowel cancer and Parkinson's and starting to need a lot of help, so I am trying to help out where I can.

We would like to go for baby number 4, and hope that will happen next year or the year after- I'll be 37 in August so 'tick tock'...

Started with the Weight loss too, but quite relaxed about it so far, need to be a bit more motivated, but don't always have the time to prepare separate meals with Hubby on shifts.

Hope all goes well with the Tonsils. xx

    Hi

Well I start back to work on 5th July, only working 3 days a week for the first 6 months so Ty is in nursery. They've changed my job due to the part-time, so am not best pleased about it.
Tyler has had his first lot of taster sessions in nursery and has another two next week before I start back the week after.
We're not having anymore babies, one is enough for us. Although I would in theory have liked more as we are both one of 3, I think the shock of the first 12 weeks of his life has put us off, so hubs is going to have the snip.
Just have my belly to get rid of as am back to pre-preg weight so am doing lots of running and trampolining, hopefully will be back to normal shortly.

Hey - nice to see how youre all doing!

My mat leave fininshed on the 1st June, but went in the week before for a meet and greet as we've had loads of staff changes since I left. Was 1 day a week in June, but only decided that after I'd booked Amber in 2 days a week at nursery, so we've had spare time on our hands! D took a lot of time off, so we did some work on the house and started baby proofing now Amber's beginning to be on the move! I'm now on 3 days a week, Amber at Grans/cousins 1 day and nursery 2 days. I'm pretty much working to pay the nursery and for my car, I dont have any spare - but it's better in the long run that I go back.

The good news is - my gastric/liver thing isnt as bad as initially thought - it seems my liver took a good old knock during pregnancy and a heck of a long time to recover, leading them to think it was this nasty thing - but it turns out it's on the mend!! Sooooo we are going to sort of ttc but just see what happens, no pressure as we would love another. I'd ideally like to lose all my weight first (I have 3st to lose) but if it happens in the meantime, Ill just lose it afterwards! I'm really naughty - I'll cook proper food for Amber (I'm still batch making) but not eat so well myself tut tut. Maybe I should stop batch making and just cook proper food for us and Amber and eat the same stuff lol! Plus now Im back at work, it's sandwiches from Greggs, Subway or wherever and I just go along with it!! Slap my wrist - I should bring my own salads! I wish I had the motivation to run/swim or whatever, I just do a lot of walking but it doesnt woooork!!

    xx

Yay Amanda i'm so glad you are able to think about ttc again!

I don't think im going back to work, just waiting on work to get back to me on financial package so I can make sure its the best financial situation for Dylan and Steven. I love my job and im sad I wont be going back but I love being a SAHM more and im looking at the positives of getting as much time with Dylan as possible.

No more babies for us unfortunately.

I feel huge! If anyone has any tips on how to lose weight whilst on steroids and unable to do much exercise i'd be greatful! I don't even eat that much but they have added podge to my face and waist and I don't know how to shift it!!!!

    Hey girls!!

Amanda it's great news on the liver!!! I hope to see a BFP soon!!

Like Sarah I am going back to work 5th July, i'm kind of looking forward to it, I feel ready for some adult time, going back 2 1/2 days. We have no plans as yet to have any more babies, we said we will talk about it again next year. Hubby and I still have not done the deed since Olivia was born!! Just waiting on my appointment for my op, they are going to do the repair work in day surgery so I won't be staying in hospital, thankfully!!
We are hoping that we can afford to go back to Florida next year and take Olivia for 3 weeks.
Still haveing issues with Olivia's reflux but at least we are trying something different for now.
Hubby and I are celebrating our 2nd anniversary this Friday but we have no plans as yet!

Its great to see how everyone is doing. Great news Amanda, keep us updated!!
My materinty pay ends at the end of July and i am planning to go back to work mid September providing Poppy gets into the nursery i have put her name down for.......have yet to hear a definate yes! I don't really want to go back to work but we need the money so am hoping just to do two days per week.

I still have my down days but i make sure i get out and about and walk each day for the fresh air and trying to get back to my fitness. I am loving being a mummy and can't believe how quickly Poppy's first year is going!

    PM
    afternoon

its good to hear all our babies are doing great & coming on. Cant believe they are all roughly 7/8months old already. Time is certainly flying in.

Jacks got his first 2 teeth, can sit unaided for a wee while before he toples over & is babbling away every day, Hoping to hear mumum or dada soon. Im loving the stage he is at but he is growing up way to fast for my liking. Hes a proper little boy now not just a baby & he his always smiling & laughing.

Well ive sorted out my date for going back to work. Officially its 26th July but Ive got 5 wks oh holidays to take so will be back on the 30th August. My auntie is going to look after Jack for my while im at work which is saving us a fortune. If it wasnt for her I wouldnt be going back to work as my wage wouldnt cover the nursery fees & petrol. Will see how it goes. Im not sure if im looking forward to going back or not, Jack hasnt been away for 6 hours at a time before so it will be a challenge for me. Ill be working 3 days, 6hours a week. Hope it works out though. Just need to get my bum in gear & lose weight for going back as I dont want to feel like a fat frump going back to work.

I am so jealous of the girls who are currently pregnant or TTC again. We are hoping to try again for No2 next year & im putting in an order for a girl this time. One of each would be ideal
