my youngest is 3.6 yrs and I'm really feeling like I'm failing with the toilet training. The daily battle is poos. She won't go on the potty or toilets even though we have the seats with a smaller seat for smaller bums. Instead she hides and poos in her pants. She knows she is doing the wrong thing as she's very sheepish after. At first I thought punishment by taking treats away would work but im at my wits end. I've tried reward charts and so have nursery and I even sit with her in the bathroom and talk to her or let her watch her tablet to try and relax her but she just won't do it. She does have movicol but when she was in a nappy or pull up full time she would have it daily and poop fine. The dr just passes it off as a phase but this "phase" has been going on for over a year. Can anyone help? It's costing me a fortune in ruined knickers too :(
