How were your Christmases? Ours was nice enough, we ended up picking up stepson at half one, then rushing home to get his presents open before we went to PILs for dinner, so all a bit hectic but H was so pleased to have him.
Wasn't so nice when SIL and BIL turned up about 7pm, she's a nasty piece of work who makes my blood boil, luckily M was tired so great excuse to leave!
Pregnancy wise, as usual MIL and nasty SIL still were ignoring the fact that im pregnant (MIL bought me normal clothes as my Christmas present??) and fussing over nice SIL who is also pregnant. But bump is fine, wriggling lots (and lots!) and we dont need them!!
Anyway, today should be a good day, got a friend visiting for lunch who I've not seen in a while, got some tidying and cleaning to do, then packing so we can go to my mum's tomorrow for five days, yay!
Hope everyone is well, and had lovely Christmases xxx

AR glad you enjoyed your day, and P was happy. M was also so well behaved all day, she was a total sweetheart and so excited when she realized Santa had been was really cute.
Hope your parents power goes back on soon, is yours sorted?

Oh WE, I hate that sort of family stuff. I had it yesterday a bit. Talking to family about Harry's treatment and genetics clinic, talk goes straight to my nephew's issues. Then our pregnancy stuff, straight to sister's pregnancy. Then being mean about names. Just went on and on. Mum nagging at my son. Oh I need to stop! They're not 'nasty' like you have to contend with WE. Sounds like it was hectic with your SS. But nice for hubby in the end :) Good news to be off away for a few days. Lovely!
AR, bad luck about your parents' house. Poor them! Just the worst day to be without power. Glad you had a good day yesterday.
AFM, all good here. Painful boobs, lower backache, exhausted, crappy heartburn, wriggles and kicks. :) Harry is working half day, mum invited us to her to eat today but I'm having a not-leaving-house day. Don't think she's too pleased but I need it. I'm working tomorrow so want today for relaxing. Plus I don't exactly enjoy time with my family, so hubby and dog on sofa sounds just the ticket!

Evening to anyone who's around!
Weekender, glad Christmas was good overall, even if family did make it more difficult than necessary. Grr to horrid inlaws.
AR, glad you had a nice day too. Sorry your parents are still without power, it's so rotten especially at Christmas. Yay to huge bumps- mine's ridiculous too, I look a good 6 months rather than 4.
Counter, sorry you've had a rubbish family experience too. I hope you managed to have a nice quiet and relaxing day today.
I had a lovely Christmas, spent with the inlaws but mine are really nice. Today we did a big extended inlaw day, which was ok, but J was a bit tired and so we had to cut it short. Overall he really enjoyed Christmas, which made it very special for me too. Baby wise I've felt a good handful of kicks and wriggles today, which is the first day I've had more than one or two, very exciting. Tomorrow I'm round at my parents for Christmas 2, it'll be great but very hectic with 9 adults, a 5 yr old, a 2 yr old, and 2 1yr olds. And 2 dogs. I'm hoping being pregnant gets me a sofa place!
