Morning ladies, happy Friday!!
How are we all doing? I feel not too bad, still not feeling quite right but hopefully won't be long now till the 1st tri crappy feeling passes. I'm working this morning but got hairdresser this afternoon so some "me" time. I'm sending H to another hairdresser with M to get her hair trimmed, feeling slightly nervous about that I must admit! We are going through to see my mum tomorrow (80 miles away) and I'm looking forward to that, M loves her to bits and doesn't give her peace which usually means I get to put my feet up lol.
Hope everyone is well, hi to the newbies, I didn't get bacj on till late last night, so

Hey WE, not many days to scan now? Whoop. Glad you're not too bad. M hassling your mum and you getting rest sounds wonderful.
Yesterday was excellent for me in that I felt awful and sick and was in bed by 8pm, but it was bearable, I didn't want to cry or go home sick. Those days are rare so it was very welcome indeed. I am assuming there will be NO respite for me in second tri (as with Harry) but if it comes, well, I'll be over the moon and seriously make the most of it!!!

I'm off to my riding competition today and won't beback until late tomorrow. Have ahuge back of food to take with me and H is flying solo tonight!!
Have lovely weekends everyone.

WE - your weekend sounds good! Enjoy the hairdresser this aft!
Counter - glad to hear things were bearable yesterday, lets hope it continues!
AR - have fun this weekend, hope your competition goes well!
AFM - I'm going to Yorkshire this weekend as its my nephew's 2nd birthday. Have to go alone as my H is on a stag do (I'm missing the hen due to the birthday party - its H's friend getting married). We've just bought a house up there for my mum to live in as she wants something smaller to live in (we're renting her house out to pay our mortgage) so I'm going round to assess what needs doing! Hoping I wont get roped into doing any heavy lifting! Its going to be so hard seeing my mum and sister and not telling them about the pregnancy but I want to wait until after we've had the early scan.
Feeling ok today - went for a gentle jog this morning for the first time since I found out I was pregnant. I know they say that exercise is fine but I do worry all the jigging about might not be the best thing right now! I do want to stay fit and healthy though and I guess if I try and keep it up it will be better in the long run.
So glad its Friday! x

CC - we must have crossed-posts! I havent rung the midwife yet - when were you told to ring? I was thinking of next week but will that be a bit early? x

Could you say you have hurt your back so you can't lift anything heavy? As a way of getting around it?
WE- Enjoy some pampering. Will be nice for you to have a rest tomorrow.
Counter- Good news about yesterday. Hopefully it will be the start of you feeling better.
AR- Good luck!
CC- What did the receptionist say last time? Im 9 weeks Sunda and hoping to hear from my midwife soon as it will be 4 weeks since my doctor sent the referral.
Browny- How long will it take you to get to Yorkshire? Hope you enjoy the party. It is difficult keeping it from people isnt it. Well done for going for a jog, wish I wasnt so lazy!
AFM- Well thank god its Friday. had such a busy day at work yesterday then went to MILs for dinner. Kept weeing last night so had to keep getting up and then the cat decided to come into the bedroom and lay all over my pillows. Still feeling much the same although tiredness seems a bit worse.
Off to Westfield shopping tomorrow with my sister, she doesnt know im pregnant yet so I may tell her. Then as she lives in Yarmouth we ere going to drop her back Sunday and spend some time there but the weather looks a rubbish!

Bertie she was just very of fish and I was told to phone back when I was 6-7 weeks, I had phoned up to see a GP about it (because that's how I thought it was done) but no apparently not down here!
Sorry tiredness is getting worse I am much the same tiredness is my worse symptom ATM I went to bed at 10 last night and woke up at 9 must of really needed it!
Enjoy west fields I love that place! Enjoy Yarmouth too hope the weather improves!

CC - ok, might give them a ring on Monday see what they say. My GP's receptionists are lovely (only rung up a couple of times mind you!) so I'm hoping they wont make me feel stupid. I was going to wait until after the early scan to ring, but then I thought it might be leaving it a bit late. Thanks for the idea about having a bad back! Good one!
Bertie - it takes about 3.5 hours depending if I stop off or not. As I'm on my own I probably will, not least because I'm sure I'll need the loo at some point! At least I'm taking H's car which has cruise control. My cat also sits on me during the night. Early hours of this morning she sat on me, started mowing at me and when I didnt respond she started pawing my face!

I've also plucked up the courage to change my signature. I need to stop being such a pansy and thinking everything will jinx me!
06/09/2013 at 11:13
Please slap me ladies. Please. Today I feel only 25% rough (best way I can explain it). The spring in my step is back. I am looking forward to things and working through a lot of my to-do list at work and am much more bubbly. I'm petrified that feeling much better is a bad sign. I virtually never had good days with my son, and have had only 1 I can recall this time around. I'm actually really frightened and so can't enjoy the respite. I have also had some cramping in the last 48 hours, unlike anything I recall previously, very shortlived (an hour or so, twice) but you guys know how easy it is to start panicking. Can you gang up on me and tell me to stop being stoopid?? Hubby is home sleeping after a nightshift so I've no one to call on to talk sense in to me!! x
06/09/2013 at 11:17
I'm one to talk but stop worrying as it wont help things! I'm sure everything is ok. I take it there's been no blood?
06/09/2013 at 11:26
Browny - I am sure your receptionist will be fine, they normally are maybe a bad day!, Your circumstances are a little different to mine and so hopefully you wont be made to feel a bit of an idiot haha!
Counter - Could it be wind lol... sorry but I get really bad cramps when I have wind (only since pregnancy)..? Like Browny said has there been any blood?
06/09/2013 at 12:41
No blood. But I know that doesn't mean much in reality.
Definitely not wind cramps. Could be stretching, I know. But timed with feeling almost like a normal person and not a zombie, it's scared me.
06/09/2013 at 13:13
I'm sure its nothing, remember 'every pregnancy is different' and all that! x
06/09/2013 at 13:35
I know people say that Browny, but this is the third time I've been pregnant and the symptoms have been the same. The overall feeling (of death) has been the same lol.
I'll see how it is tomorrow and if I'm fretting over weekend maybe I'll book a private scan next week. I couldn't bear to be suspecting problems and not checking it out. Thanks.
06/09/2013 at 14:58
Fingers crossed for you Counter - Hope it's nothing :)
AFM - Thought I had got over ingestion and wind, guess its made enough appearance today :( blah
