Well, so much for my relaxing day yesterday. We ended up going over to see my mum so was on the go all afternoon instead! Feeling ok in this heat, just tired and achey legs and feet though. I've really got to do some housework today but, if it's going to be mega hot like they reckon, I'll leave it. Baby wise all seems fine. Feel like I'm getting bigger all the time and now struggling to get off the sofa! Got 3 months to go yet!
Hope everone is well x

Hi WG, glad you're resting if too hot. I was at a concert til late yest, which is not complemented by my very early body alarm clock! Looking forward to the end of work already today! Not sure if Im starting to feel v v soft flutters or imagining it. Hi all x

Morning WG - yesterday was uncomfortable wasn't it!
Rio - keep an eye in the flutters it could be movement :)
AFM I'm exhausted we had huge thunderstorms here for most of the night, I was uncomfortable anyway but they kept me awake so a bad nights sleep for me. Roll on 5.30!!!

WG I would be doing nothing today if I could! Let's hope its not this hot for the next 3 months.
Rio it could well be baby. Hope you don't feel too tired today.
Mrs l we also had the thunderstorms, its been a while since we've had any like that! Hope that the day goes quickly.
Another tired one here. I've has late nights this night after going to the hospice support group, had end of term do and yesterday I helped at the school disco and went pregnancy yoga. The warm nights and thunderstorn last night did not help. Last day today then the summer holidays and I am so going to have a long lie in tomorrow if I can!

WG - I'd defo be leaving the housework if it's going to be like they say.
Rio - I love what my last mw said to me. If you can feel flutters and you are having to question if it's you or not, then it's baby moving about.
MrsL - hope the day goes quickly for you. Almost the weekend.
Bunny - sounds like you've been busy. But yay for the summer holidays, just a few more hours to go.
AFM - another one that was woken by crazy storms, thankfully M (and the H) managed to sleep through. Pram (slightly newer model of what we already have so the tandem kit can attach) arrived yesterday morning we put it altogether last night with the tandem kit and popped M in the back to see how she reacted and was totally fine with it. So tandem kit is packed away and onto selling our old one. Going to be a quiet day here for us - H's last day at school too before the holidays so looking forward to having him home with us.

Hope you had a nice day yesterday WG, although a shame you didn't get to relax. I'm sure you must be in 3rd tri by now, which is where the babies arrive, scary (and exciting) stuff!
Rio, I've been having flutters for a few weeks (they come and go) and I'm just ahead of you, so I reckon that is what you're feeling.
MrsL, roll on 5pm, nothing worse than being exhausted.
Can't believe you are just finishing up bunny, I go back in just under three weeks Enjoy your summer break!
Tandem kit sounds interesting Sapphire, glad you have a solution.
AFM - I felt my first definite kick last night! I was struggling to sleep so rolled on to my front, and baby started kicking! Obviously didn't like being squashed Woth an anterior placenta I thought it would be much later so very happy. I bought my first cloth nappies and a stash of cheeky wipes yesterday, can't wait for them to arrive. Spending today in school getting my class set up...again! Goodness knows why they call it the summer holidays, I've been on for at least two weeks already!

Good morning ladies!!
WG - The heat today is good excuse not to do the house work! Relax whilst you can :)
Rio - Exciting if it flutters you can feel! They'll get stronger soon enough :)
MrsL - We also had bad thunderstorms last night! Hope your day goes quickly xx
Bunny - Enjoy your last day of term and your lie in tomorrow. Its well deserved!!
Sapphire - Pleased that M was fine with the tandem kit! It'll make things much easier for you.
Saffron - Yay to feeling baby kick!! Its an amazing feeling :) You are so organised! Or maybe I'm totally disorganised! haha.
AFM - Another one who didn't get much sleep :( On a late shift too. ugh! I'm struggling with the heat already today, flannels wrapped around my feet before I head off to work. It's going to be a long day!!
Hi to all that follow xxx

Saffron - yay to feeling baby kick! My first year teaching I was lucky that my HoD basically said I shouldn't bother going in too much (if at all), we'll have time in those first few days of the term. Clearly I did do some stuff at home but nothing in school. Hope you don't have too much more to do before the term starts.
Boo - hope your feet calm down. I found a bucket of water for my feet last summer to really help too.

Afternoon, not been on in a while. All systems go here for our building work so been clearing out toys/clothes and crap, have 7(!) bags of boys clothes to get rid of and if I could be bothered selling any of it I would but think il just send to that cash for clothes place or a charity shop as I hate listing on eBay and I absolutely refuse to do a car boot lol. Iv been brutal and got rid if loads of toys too. Ordered the boys bedroom furniture which is all coming next week, how feasable is it to be building beds/wardrobes at 23 weeks eek lol. Garage conversion starts in 3 weeks so Iv picked my paint and just need to order a sofa bed and some shelving. Then need to hunt for our hall carpet and tiles eugh! The thought of it all but fx by late sept/early oct itl all be finished. O and car coming in 2 weeks too yaaaay! Phew!
Baby wise we are totally sorted for clothes, bedding, gro bags etc. need to locate the car seat adapters and screws to put the cot back together and I need to order my crib (my cousin works in JL and we are up in a few weeks so I'm going in to have a look at her cribs to see them irl), but all in all I think we are done (ish!) except Iv now told h I don't like the middle name never happy lol.
Vvvv windy here so we haven't gone out today, just played/did drawing etc. L off swimming tonight then I'm working all weekend
Take care all

Sapphire glad m liked the tandem pram. Have you got any plans for the holidays with your h?
Saffron its odd how our holidays are quite different! That's fantastic that you felt baby kick.
Boo I love the idea of the flannels! I'm going to get some cheap ones at the weekend to use for just my feet.
Rf you've been really busy! Sounds like you have lots on.
Its hot, hot, hot! I'm sitting inside its too hot outside. All finished til September now thank goodness!

WG: Hope you had more of a restful day today & have left the housework to your hubby this weekend!
Rio: hope they are flutters you're feeling, how exciting!
MrsL: The thunderstorms were so bright & loud weren't they. Hope you sleep better tonight
Bunny: Jealous of you finishing work. Our school is open until Wed at 1.30 so nearly there. Hope you get your lie in tomorrow morning. How long are you working till in the new term?
Sapphire: Tandem pram sounds exciting & how lovely to have your H back for the summer
Saffron: Exciting news about the kick, hope you feel more soon. Take it easy at school. You could work everyday of the school holidays & still have more things you want to do to your classroom. Hope you're just about done & can relax away from school for a bit x
Boo: Hope your day went quickly. Never heard of the flannels around the feet thing, does it help cool you down? Hope it helped as it's been a very hot day today.
RF: If only you were closer as I'd happily buy some of your boy stuff (if I remember correctly you're up north somewhere!). As for building wardrobes we did our own wardrobes around 2 months before I was due (big tall Ikea ones) then did most of Isobelle's room when I was on maternity leave around 35-36 weeks!! It certainly keeps you on your toes. We'll be doing Isobelle's wardrobe & trofest cabinets in about 3 weeks time. Hope work goes quickly
AFM: The storms woke me up but thankfully Isobelle slept through it. We were going to a water park today but it wasn't supposed to heat up until around 1pm here so went to farm instead & certainly was hot by 10.30. I was nearly sick again this morning after eating my cornflakes, just when you think the nausea returns. I love the heat but all I want to do is sleep all the time so I was quite dozy around the farm, luckily I was with understanding friends. Hoping to get the large bits of furniture out of Isobelle's new room over the weekend so we can start painting (if my hubby has actually asked 1 of his friends to help!!). Then it's all about getting ready for our holiday next Sunday - including spending a £50 boots voucher my hubby got from work!
Have a lovely weekend all x

I'm not organised at all Boo! We bought the pram as it was on special, but aside from that I've just been indulging my new cloth nappy obsession, ha! Hope you are home from work now and can get a good night sleep.
Sapphire, as I'm primary (not sure if you are too) I am full time, so if I don't do it now then I need to stay extra late in the first few weeks to get class set up, so it's the lesser of two evils for me.
You should post on the for sale board here RF, less hassle and still getting something for it.
I know Bunny, so odd!
The school closes completely next Friday, so I'll just go in two more days or so. My class has never been used as a classroom so was an empty shell, which has made it tougher as I have had to make every display from scratch, scavenge furniture and supplies, etc. although on the flip side it's lovely to take the blank canvas to where it is now, wish I had taken a before pic! Hope you have a fab holiday!
AFM (again) - picked up some bargain tots bots at tesco tonight, 5 bamboozle stretchies and 3 easyfits, so looking for one more brand and my stash is complete! Looking forward to the Next sale in the morning to pick up our first baby grow.
