Congratulations to VE, yesterday was a fab day for new arrivals!! I hope to see BW's announcement soon (I got the right order in the sweepstake, just didn't quite get the timings!!!)
My final day in London went well, had a lovely lunch out and they had bought me a beautiful baby keepsake box and a load of John Lewis vouchers ... it was quite emotional really.
I had a fitful nights sleep, and finally gave up and got up to have a cup of tea at 05:30am ... typical, my first day of mat leave today and no reason to be up early, but my body clock had other ideas!!! I would behaving a nice cup of tea, but we are out of milk .... it was the one things I asked H to pick up on his was back last night ... looks like it was the one thing he didn't get .... grrrrrr, so instead I am having a fruit tea - it is not quite hitting the spot!!.
I have reflexology this morning and then am going to be fitted for some nursing bras. Later we are haeding to a friends to stay the night and have a birthday party for 4 year old twins tomorrow - I will try to resist going on the bouncy castle!!!
Have a good day all - baby out vibes to those that need them

Morning all! I feel the 3rd tri has suddenly depleted! Congrats to Hep and VE again, hoping BW will be not far behind.
Al- glad you had a good last day. Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned. Don't forget to take your hospital bag and car seat if you're going far!
Bexy- ah that was lovely! I'm jealous of the cake.
AFM- last day at work today! Can't believe I've made it! My data came in yesterday so a bit ahead of myself thankfully. Actually got my leaving meal Tuesday as my colleagues are all down for a meeting (we're all over the country). Baby still very active. Going to go and muck out before turning on the laptop I think. Hopefully only 2 more weeks before my horse lives out at night, looking after him at 8 1/2 months pregnant is hard work.
Have a great Friday everyone

Alocin, what you gonna spend your vouchers on?
WH, so impressed you made it to your last day. You coming to KnA later?
AFM, I have a growth scan this morning, then consultant and GD MW. Hoping to be out of the hospital by bedtime ;)

Huge congrats to VE! Hope to hear some positive news from BW soon and that's our hatrick! MM was also having some twinges last night so you never know....!
Al - glad that your last day at work wet well. Sounds like you got very spoilt! Is there anything that you have been eyeing up in JL to spend the voucher on? Enjoy your first day of ML and good idea to stay off that bouncy castle tomorrow perhaps!
Bexy - what a wonderful surprise! Mmmmm cake!
WH - enjoy your last day at work today. Glad to hear that you are ahead of yourself with the data. Can imagine that the horses are a lot of work, have you been riding during the pregnancy?
Rusty - good luck at the hospital. Hope that you are not kept too long. Make sure to take a good book!
Afm - day off today. Waiting for a delivery of our new headboard anytime between 9am-4pm which is really annoying as I can't go out all day. Going to make the most of it however an try and take it easy - have some sorting of stuff to do but also lots of catch up on the v+ box. May also do some Internet shopping of bits we need for the baby! Am not very good at taking it easy as am always running around but think my mood this week is indication that I need to stop a bit and take some time out to chill. My poor H, my hormones have made me horrible to him!
Have a good day all x
19/04/2013 at 08:03
Edit - congratulations BW! We got the hattrick!!
19/04/2013 at 08:08

Bexy - how lovely of your friends.
WH - must feel strange getting this far with your First was very different!?
Rusty -- hope GS goes well - sounds like it could be a long day for you!
AFM - a work from home day and its been a busy week so only got a couple of hours to do later. Need to spend the day doing housework - the place looks like a tornado has gone through the place!
19/04/2013 at 08:11

Massive congratulations again to Hep, VE and BW!!
Al - glad your last day went ok. Booooo to getting up early and no milk.
BB - how lovely to have a surprise baby shower! My friends did that for me first time round.
WH - enjoy your last day. I dont know how you are still mucking out horses! Thats hard work!
Rusty - hope the hospital goes ok.
Ferbs - thanks for thinking of me - i am still here!! Hope your delivery comes quickly so you can get on. I have been in a foul mood for days too. Poor H. Last night i snapped at him a couple of times and he offered to run me a bath and rub my back bless him.
MrsH - enjoy your working from home day. I hear you on the housework but i just cant be bothrred!
Morph - enjoy your belated leaving lunch!!
AFM - as Ferbs said i had lots of back pains and some AF type cramping and really just didnt feel right. H bought in chips which i picked at but i really had no appetite and felt sicky. Spentva while on my hands n knees over my ball which helped with the bavkache. H rubbed my back and ran me a bath and i went to bed at 8.45. Slept ok. Slight backache this morning but better. I reckon its baby being slightly back to back so really need to get her moving! Meeting a friend later and takibg the kids scooting in the park.

Maisie sounds so promising!!
Bexy what a lovely surprise!
I'm not on all week and come back to 3 born on the same day?! Lordy! Amazing!
Waters were down at last check, next bpp is Saturday on my birthday and growth scan on Tuesday. I won't be surprised if he comes out early on his own though, head was 4/5 last time they checked and there's much more pressure down there now, walking cowboy style! Finished our NCT classes which were fab! Got our Hypnobirthing refresher on Saturday as well eeek! Going to go for a meal with hubby for my birthday as a final send-off lol! Other than that its batch cooking central at our house on Sunday!
Hope you're all ok and baby out vibes to those who need them :)))

Nah definitely dont think there is anything happening here. Still got backache but baby is kicking out front so i wonder if she is completely back to back now - not good for my vbac plans and feeling quite tearful and deflated as i have been trying so hard to get her to turn. My tummy feels stretched to bursting too so just quite uncomfortable but not in a crampy/contraction kind of way unfortunately

Fantastic News for Hep, VE and BW! lovely to hear they all arrived with little drama!
Al - That was lovely of your colleagues. Good thing about Mat leave is that you can always go back to bed if you want to! :-)
Bexy - That was really nice of your friends. what did you get? and yum to the cake!
WH - woo to last day at work!! Hope you have a fab lunch on Tuesday!
Rusty - Sounds like you have a busy day ahead! Hope everything goes well for you!
Ferbs - Hope the delivery doesn't take too long and you can get out later if you want to! I'm like you, i have this constant need to do things and i get shouted at for not taking it easy.
MrsH - Take it easy with the tidying! Get your H to help...or better yet, get him to do it! :-)
Morph - Have a fab leaving lunch!
MM - Hope the discomfort subsides soon, or Baby makes an appearance! Whichever would be better! :-)
GB - Hello Lovely! Hope your keeping well! is your Birthday tomorrow? Happy Birthday for then if it is! Hope you have a lovely evening with your H!!
AFM - Tired. Oh so very tired. I got the bus home from work yesterday (H was working late so he had the car) and I had to sort of hurry to catch it, i then spent the journey in quite a bit of discomfort. Baby was pushing down into my pelvis the whole way home, and the roads out my way are littered with potholes that the bus just drives straight through so i had the sh!t well and truely shaken out me too.
Got home sat down and fell asleep, woke up, and had dinner, then fell back asleep again until H called to say he was on his way home, i fell asleep again after that until he got home and woke me. I could barely get myself ready for bed i was that tired and then i slept right through the night! didn't even get up to the loo like i normally have to and i woke up still shattered! I guess the week at work has taken a bit of a toll on me more so that i thought it would!
I've only got 2 more weeks before i finish work! Thankfully we're quite quiet in the office, so i'm managing to get through my work and keep on top it so i do a simple hand over to my cover when she starts on the 1st of May.

Phew, have finally escaped the hospital. £5 of parking later...
Had a growth scan and baby measuring an impressive 6lbs 11oz already! (at 32+3)
Then saw GD midwife who was happy with my bloods apart from the evening ones. Now have metformin to take with my dinner.
Consultant was teaching so saw a registrar, who then went off an interrupted my consultant to come and see me. All in agreement that I would have a section, unless I go labour before 37 weeks.
Found out today that it was my consultant who delivered Matilda - we thought we recognised each other!
So I have a section date.

Awww, lovely pic Rusty! So you'll be having baby in at most 5 weeks or so? That's amazing! How are you feeling about it all?
19/04/2013 at 14:38
Suddenly feels VERY real!
19/04/2013 at 14:54
I was talking to H about this last night that i can't comprehend having baby. I suppose having a potential end date must be quite a sobering feeling. I think it's the not knowing that makes me feel like i'll always be pregnant. As long as you're ready for baby, you'll be fine!
