Have been up since stupid o'clock not being able to sleep and in loads of back pain. Really annoying as not at work today so would have appreciated a lie in! Weather looks like it has turned which is annoying as it looked so glorious out there yesterday whilst I was stuck inside! Had a really stressful day yesterday to the point that I became very weepy when I got home. Think I have accepted in my body that I am pregnant but not in my mind (if that makes sense?!) as am still trying to do too much. So today H has put me on strict orders to take it easy! He is working from the local office today so may go and meet him for lunch. May also go for a swim as hopefully some exercise will help the aches and pains a bit (but nothing too strenuous!)
Hope that you all have a good day, will pop back later x

Sorry you're in pain Ferbs, hope you manage to have a nice day - meeting your H for lunch sounds like a good idea
Afm - I have my GTT this morning and 28 week check. I imagine I'm going to be stabbed with needles all morning as due my whooping cough too. Hungry already so not happy at having to wait till 11.30 for food :-(
Hope everyone is well
Missed you there Bexy. Enjoy your last day at work. Fingers crossed baby turns

Morning Ferbs. Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit low. Take H's advice and try to have an easy day! Take your back ache as a sign to slow down a bit.
Just sneaking on here to say thank you for all your lovely messages yesterday and baby out vibes to those who need them especially those i queue jumped
Ally! Thanks! Hope gtt goes well and the time flies for you! Have a snack at the ready for when your allowed to eat again! X

Ferbs - That's so annoying and typical on your day off. I wonder if it's because you are a bit stressed, as well as your back being sore. I was exactly the same - pregnant in body but not in mind and my H has given me plenty of (nice) lectures about not overdoing it, it's so difficult though as work has to get done doesn't it? When do you finish? Are you still doing a 4 day week? Swimming really helps my back, and if they have any of those long, float things - woggles?! They are lovely to use to float and take the weight from your back completely. Take care of yourself lady - as hard as it can be to do so!
Bexy - Just to repeat my reply from last night, really hope baby turns by Monday - those exercises etc. are definitely worth a shot. If not, lots of luck for the ECV, keep us posted.
Ally - I feel for you having to wait so long for food, definitely make up for it after! Hope you aren't left feeling like too much of a pin cushion with all your jabs either.
MM - Hello and congrats again! Hope you are recovering well, and will look forward to a fourth tri catch up before too long hopefully!
AFM - also up earlier than I would have liked, but am just having a nice potter this morning and doing a few jobs before friends come to visit with their little girls later in the morning. Then I'm going to pick up my 6yo nephew from school and he's coming to stay. Fish and chip supper will be in order I reckon! What are you all up to this weekend? We are going to see IRON MAN 3 tomorrow with friends - I am SO excited, having a real 'thing' for Tony Stark - hope I have a naughty pregnant hormonal dream about him afterwards! On Sunday afternoon I'm doing a mini spa day with my friend, nothing fancy, just a cheapy groupon pool and tea and pastry job but it will be nice to have a girly catch up and relax together.
All good with baby, have started to have tiny period like cramps, not even big tightenings, like I imagine BH to be? But I assume it's all part of baby engaging and the old uterus getting ready - hopefully!
*Pokes head around the corner to say hello*
Thought I'd jsut say a quick hello! Im off on hols at the weekend but when I get back I'll be nearly 29 weeks so thought I better make the move. Eeeek can't believe I'm in 3rd Tri! Recognise most of you so hello!

Just to add, Baby Out vibes to Gopher, and have a lovely weekend all.

Ferbs, sorry you are feeling down. A relaxing day is def in order for you x
Bexy, yay last day at work! Enjoy it. Hope you manage to turn baby. Getting on your hands and knees is the tip I often read on here.
Ally, have you had GD before?
Maisie, hello how are you doing? X
Had my mw appt yesterday and got a telling off for not taking my iron again as its still low. I've been taking spa tone instead but it's not a high enough dosage. So I'm back on the tablets but asked for something for the constipation - seriously I was in agony a couple of weeks ago and felt like I was giving birth. She also dragged it out of me that movements had been down for a couple f days so I off I was sent for monitoring at the hospital. Anyway a trace and a scan later and baby was fine. Still a whopper - estimated 6lb 3oz already With a fat tummy just like its brother and sister! A was with me so got o see the scan which fascinated him! O was not impressed!
No plans for me today. Off on school run in a mo thn back home to try and hide from the cleaner for a couple of hours!

Ferbs- Sorry to hear that you've been feeling overwhelmed. Have a relaxing and more cheerful day today.
Bexy- Bit of a nuisance that baby is breech. MW thought mine was but luckily the scan proved otherwise. I had already decided in my head that I wouldn't go for an ECV but don't let me put you off! On a positive note, my baby still seems to have room to swing from side to side, so don't give up hope of yours turning right round in the next few weeks if you decide to leave it be. Fingers crossed for you, whatever you decide.
Ally- All the best for your 28 week check and enjoy a treat afterwards!
MM- Lovely to see you and glad to hear that all is well :-)
Lamby- Sounds like your weekend will be fun. Glad baby is OK and probably busy shuffling towards the exit.
Porkchop- Hey there! Welcome to 3rd tri and have a fab holiday.
Morph- You've been going through the mill a bit then. A relief though that baby is alright and evidently growing well!
AFM- 41 weeks today and still no sign of baby. Cleaned yesterday and off to the supermarket tonight, so she can blimmin' well make a move over the weekend whilst all is in order! MIL is staying with friends in the area for a few days so she's popping in to see me later today. Sun is shining so I shall go for a stomp with the family dog at some point too.
Have a good day everyone.

Morph - no, not had it before. Had to have the test last time too though. My dad has type 2 diabetes and I had big babies before so that's why they make me have the test. Shouldn't complain too much, I'm getting 2 hours of peace reading my book instead of going to toddlers lol

Back for personals...
Bexy - yay for last day at work! Bet it feels very strange! Sorry to hear that baby is breech - hope that ecv on Monday helps couples with exercises etc. Still plenty of time for he/she to turn
Ally - Hope that the GTT goes OK and you are not kept waiting for too long
MM - Hi! Huge congrats again, hope that Poppy is settling in well
Lamby - I only have another 11 days at work, but over 3 weeks. Only 3 more days without my cover and am hoping that when she comes in I will be able to wind down a bit more. Sounds like you have a lovely day planned. You have me craving fish and chips now! My H is desperate to see Iron Man! Hope you enjoy and get your naughty hormonal dreams after!!
PC - Hi and welcome to 3rd tri! Have fun on your hols, where are you off to?
Morph - glad that all is ok with the baby, even if O was not impressed with the scan! Hopefully the constipation release will help with the iron tablets. Enjoy your plan-free day
Gopher - Loads of baby out vibes, hope that baby makes an appearance soon!
AFM - Just back from a swim which was just what I needed. H has cancelled lunch as he now has a meeting so am going to take it easy at home doing very little! Just been invited over to our friends for dinner this evening so at least I don't need to think about cooking etc

Morning all! Baby is getting more engaged as the days go on, had some mucus plug loss too. Had a scan on Tuesday, they couldn't get estimated weight because they couldn't get a head measurement because of my pelvis blocking the view but my waters and placenta are fine :) I'm hoping to get a call from the consultant today with a little update on the plan going forward, but we've been told induction or section 2-3 weeks from now when I'm 36-37 weeks :))
Sorry I'm not on very much, I can never do all the personals on my phone and I feel bad :(
Lots of baby out vibes to Gopher!
26/04/2013 at 12:33
Ferbs- try and take it a bit easy if you can. I'm the worst person for dishing it out but I don't take my own advice! Have a nice day today
Bexy- hope that baby gets shifted soon. Never too late for them to turn
Ally- hope the GTT is negative. I was lucky, for mine I just ate a set breakfast and had bloods done 2 hours later so no hanging around.
MM- hi! Hope you're getting on well
Lamby- have a lovely weekend. Sounds nice and chilled. Hope those little cramps don't ramp up to anything more!
Morph- pleased all is ok. Mine was 7lb12 at 36 week scan! Hope you find a solution with the iron. My levels were only a bit low so meant to be on 2 tablets a day. I'm a bit lapse at remembering though.
PC- welcome aboard! Have a nice holiday
Gopher- you need to plan something really nice to do this weekend to tempt s0ds law! Baby out vibes to you.
AFM- had a busy day yesterday. Did housework, got all bedding washed and back on, had my feet done too. This morning have given my stable a good clear out, tidied my feed area and played with my horse for a bit. Picking S up early from nursery to meet Rusty and Nala at soft play.
No news baby wise. Was on ball last night but my bump was just aching! Think ball's too low.
Have a good day all

GB- that sounds really positive! Hopefully you'll hold on a bit longer then
