I hope everyone is doing ok, enjoying the weather and not too bothered about the football.
I'm off to the Trafford centre today, I need a birthday present (which I was too lazy to go out for yesterday) and I want some badedas bath stuff as apparently it's good for helping healing after labour.
I'm also meeting an NCT friend there for a coffee, hopefully a piece of cake too! :)
We're doing a tour of the hospital tomo, I'm looking forward to it amd I'm hoping that C will learn something too. I think we might have a BBQ this weekend, it's looking as though it might be sunny. Other than that it's just a quiet one.

Hope you have a successful shopping trip and have a good time meeting your friend for coffee and cake :) BBQ sounds like a great idea!
AFM - I had a lazy day yesterday so going to do some housework this morning and start sorting through the mound of stuff in the spare bedroom.

Sounds like a lovely day planned imp. Enjoy the cake.
Summer clean out ixia, hope it goes well.
Afm full day of work. But a nice weekend to look forward to. I have set time aside for my art work, need to complete this piece this weekend&more time set aside for my dissertation. I'm looking forward to getting my teeth into both. Hi to all who follow.

Sorry I didn't pop in yesterday!
Firstly, Happy Due Date Vix!! Hope baby is in your arms soon :-)
Imp - sounds like a fab day planned! I know Weather girl swears by badedas, I've seen it in Sainsburys so think may give it a whirl this time round! Enjoy your cake!
Ixia - make sure you get some time to stick your feet up too :-)
AFM - woken up feeling a bit peculiar today so gong to try and take it as easy as a rampaging toddler will allow! As far as the rest of the weekend goes O is off to stay at my Mum and Dad's tomorrow and not home til bedtime Sunday, so plan to cracking on with organising nursery, rearranging our bedroom and washing all the neutral baby clothes we have....a whole huge suitcase full :O
Have a good one all xxx

RE - sorry missed you there, hope you get some time to relax at the weekend too :-)

Morning! Imp, that sounds like a lovely day in store. We need to book a hospital tour soon just in case I do end up there. Weather for the weekend looks great, so enjoy the BBQ :-)
Ixia, that doesn't sound as much fun! Hope you get as much done as you need to.
I have midwife this morning, although nothing really new to discuss until my final scan in July. I am a bit upset about the amount of weight I have gained (over 2 stone with lots of flab everywhere, not just bump) but she'll probably laugh it off, same as when she didn't take my chronic insomnia seriously. We'll see. Anyway yesterday I officially finished work. No idea what I'm going to do with myself, and already know I'll really miss the unique banter and camaraderie of my job. I said to hubby yesterday I understand how retiring soldiers feel, and why they get depressed, leaving that life and being dumped in civvy street where no one understands them or has the same sense of humour. We're off south tonight in the campervan for a little break hopefully in the sun, so will be back next week. Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine xx

Raincloud, sorry I missed you. What sort of art do you do?
Coco, another crossed post, sorry. Hope you feel back to normal soon, and make good progress sorting out the nursery :-)

Imp - oh what a nice day! I just have meeting upon meeting today boo. Hope the trafford visit is successful and cake should always be involved! BBQ sounds fab. I need some nice weather to get through the mountains of washing I have!!
Ixia - I quite like sorting. Makes you feel you have accomplished something! Better than straight forward cleaning for sure. Hope you get a big chunk done so you can have another lazy day soon.
RC - good luck with the dissertation. Is the art work related or just for fun? Sitting down to write is the worst but once you get into it it's not so bad. Sounds like you're ready for it which is good.
Coco - hope you're feeling better soon. Aw it'll be lovely going through all the little clothes! Are you sorting some for the hospital bag too? Hope you get all your organising done so you can concentrate on O when he;s back.
BF - I'm pretty sure 2 stone is normal. I've put on just over that which is a little depressing but it's not like it won't come off! I think some people just carry more weight. My bum has ballooned since getting pregnant and there was enough of it to start with! I wouldn't worry too much about the job either. You're not leaving permanently and you're having a baby! Hardly depressing. Enjoy your break. Hopefully that will cheer you up a bit. Sunshine is a marvellous cure.
AFM - finished stripping and crack filling in the baby room and it's all taped up ready to paint! Going to make a start tonight as I want it finished asap. Once we've moved the furniture in we might be able to see into the spare room haha. House is in chaos and the poor cat must be so confused. He's started hissing which is v unusual so I'm keeping an eye and giving him lots of attention. Baby is wriggling loads and I cannot WAIT to go on mat leave in 3 weeks!!
Happy due date Vix!! Baby out vibes to you!
Hi to those that follow!

Imp - Have a great day, you are definuitely adjusting to maternity leave well with those plans. I've heard the same about the badedas bath stuff but I'm clearly a nonce as I don't like the bottle so hide it rather than keep it on the side in the bathroom. Weirdo. Have a lovely day!
Lxia, Good luck with the mound sorting. I have a similar mound that I need to tackle soon.
RC - Good luck with the dissertation writing!
Coco - Sorry youre feeling perculiar. Take it easy with all that sorting. I've found that after an afternoon of blitzing the house (which I tend to do most Wednesday afternoons) I needed to take paracetamol as I was soooo achy. Definitely getting H on the hoorvering from now on! Hope you get the jobs done.
BF - Hope the midwife goes well. I've stopped weighing myself because it was stressing me out. Pack the scales away and deal with the weight gain later!
Jonesy - Woop for getting the baby room sorted. It's wuite exciting eh!?
AFM - Babies are doing well and now an estimated 2lb 7oz and 2lb 9oz with healthy placentas and fluid levels. BP and wee still perfect too. The car is lurvely! I have never had a new(ish) car, always had something quite old and I love love love it! We are picking the iCandy pram up tomorrow :)
3 weeks left at work and 8 weeks left being pregnant. It's going too quickly now!

Imp - hope you have a lovely day shopping and meeting up for a coffee. Exciting to have the hospital tour tomorrow to look forward to .
Ixia - yay to lazy days, booooooo to having to sort through stuff. Hope it doesn't take too long.
RC - sounds like you've got a busy weekend ahead of you. Hope its successful and you get everything done.
Coco - hope you are feeling a bit better now. Wow, you;ve got a busy schedule planned too. Love how productive everyone is.
BF - hope the mw went ok and you enjoy your trip away.
Jonesy - yay to having the room ready to paint. Hope you get it done quickly then you can concentrate on all the nice little bits and pieces to put into it. 3 weeks isn't too much longer until mat leave.
Ducky - yay to new(ish) cars, you can't beat it. Enjoy it until the sprouts come along and its their car!!! lol Wow, 3 weeks left at work. That will be here in no time.
AFM - I'm enjoying my mat leave and I'm not bored like I thought I would be. Today has consisted of being on the sofa but in my defense I've been awake since 5am so I am pretty tired. I'm going to walk into town in a bit to get some fresh air and exercise in the sunshine. Baby CA is being a little monkey and kicking me in the ribs as I'm typing this. They must be fed up lying around as well lol. I've still got lots of house chores to do and haven't done any today as yet so I might try and do something when I get back from my walk. My plan was to do at least 1 chore a day. Up until today I had been quite productive with that. Ah well, 1 day off won't kill me, plus it will still be there!!!!
Happy Friday everyone xxx
