What a day for birth announcements yesterday! So thrilled Ixia for to meet her long awaited baby girl, and then PS surprised us all!! Huge congratulations ladies, hope you and your little girls are doing well.
Think we need some more graduates from 2nd tri ...We've hardly any posters any more!
We had a monster storm here which went on for over 2 hrs.. .cooled things a tad but know the heat is going to ramp up again today! I've been taken over by the nesting urge, and was cleaning/rearranging the kitchen at 9.30 on last night, cupboards and all! Not sure what to do with myself today, want to take O out though so poor monkey isn't cooped up just because I'm crap in the heat!!
Hi to all who follow x

Morning. What a surprise re PS! Just looked at the due date list and scary that if there are no more queue jumpers, I'm 5th! Eek.
Coco my nesting has involved stripping paint from all the woodwork, then hubby having to repaint it all since the gloss says don't use if pregnant. Oops!
Yesterday had afternoon tea with some ladies from work, and got a few very unexpected pressies for baby. I had specifically said it was NOT a baby shower since I don't like the concept, but the lovely girls thought I should still have gifts. Swimming this morning with a lady from NCT, then snoozing before popping in to a work seminar this evening which counts as CPD which I vowed I'd get up to date with while on matty leave.

Morning Coco! We certainly do need some new recruits, there are babies appearing everywhere!!
I've not quite gone as far as rearranging cupboards yet! Hope you manage to find something to do which doesn't take it out of you too much!
Storm here last night at about 4am but that didn't wake me up, it was the drunk 16yr olds shouting all the way down the road after their prom in the storm that did!! A few twinges last night but gone again this morning, got another sweep at 11.30, which I am not looking forward to as I know how much it hurt last time!! As much as I want baby here now, I'd quite like it to wait until tomorrow when it cools down a bit!!

Congratulations tot he lovely Purple Star and Ixia, hope you and your baby girls are doing well
Coco - Happy 36 weeks twin the storm really took me by surprise, I was actually in a deep sleep where I was so hot and then there was a huge bolt of lightening! gutted cause I decided to leave some washing on the line for baby which I had done so will have to re-do that today, Where are you going to take O?
Barefoot - adternoon tea sounds lovely, what pressies did you get? enjoy your swim
Kapowski - Good luck with your sweep, hopefully it wont be quite as painful as you will be further dilated - I have everything crossed for you!
AFM - have trudged all the way into work for an important meeting and lunch (even put on a dress and proper shoes ) and half the team are not coming in due to train troubles so we have cancelled grrrrrrrr. will try and finish at lunchtime I think. My girlies are home tonight from Corfu with my parents, cannot wait to see them or for them to see their new rooms. Every time I have spoken to Molly her first question is have we had the baby yet.....they even face timed me yesterday to make sure I still had a bump (which believe me I certainly do!)

BF - your afternoon tea sounds lovely. Enioy your cooling dip today!
Kapowski - Hope you are next and that the sweep isn't as unpleasant this time round. Lots of already nice and dilated vibes :-)

Nina - How did we get to 36 weeks already?! I'm in shock!! Sorry your meeting and lunch got cancelled but hope you can get away early as a result. Bet you can't wait for the girls to come home now....they're going to love their rooms, they look fab! I did the ssme washing wise...annoying!!
Not sure where to take O just now....we were going to feed ducks and then on to Farmer Freds, but may skip the duck part as it's going to be so muddy!!

We definately need some new recruits now! All good here - was at the dentists this morning to get 2 fillings. Was very brave and did not get an injection as more scared of needles than of pain!! Getting some painful BH's that are waking me up nights but apart from the heat simply trying to chill and enjoy mat leave as littlesue is in kindergarten next week and then is holidays for 3 weeks....
Huhs to all xxx

Morning all, happy Friday!
Coco - we haven't had a storm here (yet) but it is definitely cooler! Lol at cleaning the cupboards - no way would I be able to do that with my back, not that my cleaning/nesting instinct has kicked in!
BF - sounds like a lovely day yesterday! Hope you enjoyed swimming.
Kapowski - I hope the sweep works it's magic this time! It definitely is your turn!!
NB - sorry that the meeting got cancelled! Hope you can get away early!
AFM - no news from me really, feeling huge and panicking about not having my hospital bag packed yet!
Congrats to PS and Ixia again! X

Well I've just had a lovely swim at the local pool I've never been to in nearly 3 yrs of living here. Will make the effort to go weekly I think, and what's best is in the summer they open their outdoor lido pool which has sunloungers. Wasn't open this morning, but I can see late afternoons and evenings could well be spent there if the weather holds. Nice chatting to my NCT friend too, since she's due the day before me.
Nina, presses yesterday included a romper suit, a nice babygro, some bibs, scratch mitts, hats and cuddly toys. Not at all OTT, but just nice. Your cancelled meeting sounds frustrating, I don't blame you finishing early today!
K, hope the sweep went well for you and wasn't too painful.
Sue, enjoy the resting while you can x
Browny, I only packed my bag last week, and even now it isn't really complete. I only own one nursing bra and no toiletries are in the bag. I think I'm in denial about the whole thing to be honest!
Hope everyone's having a good day and staying cool :-)

Nina - Boo to cancelled meeting, hope you can get home early!
Sue - Well done on the dentist - I haven't been for ages (naughty me)
Browny - Don't panic, have you got everything in but just need to pack or still have more bits to get?
Barefoot - Pool sounds lovely!
Just got back from midwife, popped to the loo while I was waiting and lost my plug! Big snotty gross mess!! I opted not to have the second sweep and she has put me in the "likely to be this weekend" pile! I am absolutely roasting, it's at least 30 degrees outside and I've already had two showers!!

Sue - sorry missed you out there! Well done on the dentist! Hopefully you aren't waiting much longer!
BF - your swimming pool sounds amazing!!
Kapowski - no I need to get stuff for in it too! I have a few bits but need to get some things still. It's my mission for next week to have it sorted before I'm 35 weeks! Hopefully losing your plug means something is going to happen! Very exciting! X
