    Morning ladies

In the nicest possible sense I was hoping not to be here today...I was a week early with O but today I've reached my due date! Lots of niggles this morning but not holding out hope for a due date baby...K reckon this one is going to keep us waiting! In worst case scenario I've a sweep booked for Wednesday and induction booked for 27th....I really hope we're not waiting that long though as really wanted to be settled before O starts preschool on 4th September!

    Hope you're all well x

    Morning everyone.

Coco at least the end is in sight! Fingers crossed that baby gets a move on soon and you don't need that sweep Wednesday. Do you have anything planned for today?

We are going to my parents tomorrow for the weekend as it's my sister's birthday tomorrow so I'm going to pack the overnight bag and wrap her pressie. Might take it easy the rest of the day as bump was quite uncomfortable last night. I think I'm stretching again!

Thanks Bunny...no major plans for today other than cleaning the house like a demon and bouncing on the ball (whilst trying to stop O pushing it over, haha!)

Hope you enjoy seeing your family and celebrating with your sister. Hope the stretching pains ease off soon xx

    Morning!

Coco - happy due date! I can't believe how quickly it's come around, although I'm sure it hasn't felt quick for you! As you know I was also early with F and am hoping for the same this time but it'll be Sod's Law that I'm late! Really hope something kicks off for you over the weekend at least.

Bunny - it sounds like you have a nice weekend planned. Definitely take it easy today if you're feeling a bit uncomfortable.

MrsL - happy wedding anniversary for this weekend! Hope you have a lovely time and feel less tired and weepy soon. I had a good cry last night and feel a bit better for it!

AFM - just dropped F at nursery and am now sat down with a cuppa. I'm still feeling a little lightheaded so I think I'll do a couple of jobs around the house and then take it easy the rest of the day. Baby did a couple of really random movements this morning, felt like my whole tummy was churching. Most odd. Perhaps she's no longer transverse... although it doesn't feel like she's moved position so she must've been rolling over instead!

    Morning!

Coco "happy" due day, although I don't think either of us still want to be waiting. Glad you're still getting some niggles anyway.

Bunny, have a lovely weekend, and enjoy the birthday celebrations x

MrsL, happy anniversary xx.  Have a fantastic weekend away x

AFM, no news. Nothing, nada. Pains and niggles from earlier in the week have all gone, and I'm back to not even a hint of a symptom. Let's hope the acupuncture later helps. Blackcat you queried it being available on the NHS and I didn't reply before, sorry. It's offered at the NHS hospital's maternity unit, but they make a small charge since it's not NHS funded. The money paid is reinvested in the maternity unit for equipment etc. Seems fair enough to me, since I believe that NHS money should be for essentials not optional extras. I did mean to do some stuff in town this morning but having a lie in so it's not going to happen. Tomorrow off to see my friend and her twins for the day, then midwife Monday for sweep etc. Come on baby, I'm impatient now!!

WG, missed you there. My movements got a lot different from about 32-33 weeks. More massive rolls than little kicks. Hope it means yours is moving nicely into position. Sorry you still feel unwell. I recommend a duvet day!

Thanks BF. How annoying that all the pains have now subsided. Fingers crossed the acupuncture kicks start something. I'm really intrigued to see how you get on - I've had acupuncture for other things in the past and have found it to be fab. I might find out if our hospital does similar. I think a small charge is more than reasonable too. Please do update later if you can.

    Morning all,

Coco - sorry that you are fed up and hope you aren't waiting too much longer! Hope the sweep isn't needed.

Bunny - enjoy your weekend celebrating with your sister!

MrsL - happy anniversary! Hope you have something special planned x

WG - make sure you rest up if you are feeling lightheaded. I also have had minimal kicks for a while now and more of them just moving about.

BF - sorry that your pains haven't turned into anything. Enjoy your weekend and hope the sweep isn't needed or if it is, that it's successful!

AFM - I've just had a huge argument with my mum which has really upset me. I was round at my sisters and walked out and have come home to cry and curl up in bed. She said some not very nice things to me which I don't think she should have said but I doubt she'll admit it. She's so ungrateful that I've moved 200 miles to be up here and just threw it back in my face (as well as some other stuff about my dad that I don't want to go into on here). So today is probably going to be spent in bed :(

MrsL - Happy anniversary for the weekend!! Hope you have some nice things planned.

WG - Sorry you're feeling lightheaded...definitely make the most of F being at nursery and get those feet up! I found movements changed a lot about the same stage...baby shifted from side to side more then giving kicks etc.

BF - hope the acupuncture helps. I found my niggles disappeared for a couple of days on Wed/Thu but definitely back today...calm before the storm perhaps? I know the impatient feeling!!

Browny - sorry to hear your mum has been horrible to you at a time you really need get support, and that she brought your Dad into it too. Sending huge hugs and an ear if you want to talk off of the forum xxx

WG I hope that baby has wriggled round! I'm finding it quite uncomfortable when baby does big movements, I think its because they are pushing out sideways. Hope you do get to  have an easy day.

Bf enjoy the acupuncture. I think they do it at my hospital too. Let us know how it goes as its something I would like to try.

Browny sorry to hear about the argument. I hope you enjoy your duvet day or find something nice to do x

Hmm fuming now. Arrived at hospital and they had no record of my appointment, and the therapist is on holiday. They tried contacting the person who books it, but can't get hold of her, so they said all they can do is call me back. Not impressed. Spent a while looking at other places online today, but no one local is answering their phones so I've left messages. Trying not to get too stressed about it because that won't help, so going to go into a nearby village and talk about getting some of our bump photos mounted and framed instead. Grrr!

Browny - I'm so sorry you had an argument with your mum this morning, I hope you're feeling a bit better now? My mum and I clash at times and things she says always stay with me.

Coco - anything at all today? How is NB doing?

Bunny - I definitely think the sideways thing makes for some weird feelings!

BF - that is so disappointing about the appointment, you must be gutted. Hopefully they'll get hold of the person who booked it and find out what went on. I really hope you manage to get an appointment elsewhere soon.

I tried to have a nap earlier but I don't think drinking Lucozade beforehand was a wise idea! I couldn't sleep. I ended up folding all the baby clothes I washed yesterday and sorting them out according to weight/size! Managed to get a bit of housework done too. Off to pick up my little man shortly and I'm hoping the storm clouds that are brewing outside don't amount to anything.
