Congrats to out latest graduate Porkchop!
Margot - so exciting that you finally have a date and it's not too far away!
AFM - glad it's Friday, will be getting my weekly treat of bacon and pancakes as soon as I get into work. Tomorrow afternoon I'm hosting a pampered chef party so need to tidy and clean the house for that tonight. I don't know why I signed up for it, it's just stressful trying to make sure I have enough people there so I don't look like a saddo
Do you all have exciting weekend plans?

Congrats to Porkchop. Really hope that my baby follows suit and is a bit early. That would be nice.
Hope your party goes well BG.
Afm - its Friday!!!! Means H is home for the weekend. And he was told yesterday that he's definitely not going back to London. They need him locally. Im so relieved as was beginning to stress that he might miss the birth. Do not want my mum there.
We're going to see the Gruffalo's Child tomorrow and Sunday is H's nephew's first birthday. So quite a busy one. Today we're going swimming.
Hi to all that follow x

Think this is the first time I've made it on to the tri thread this week!!
BG- bacon and pancakes, yumyum! Is that every week?
Daisy- yay for H coming back. Hope you have a nice time at the gruffalo's child.
AFM - I've had a busy week at work. I only have next week and then I'm off for 2 weeks holiday then I have to back in for 4 days then I'm officially finished, hurrah, I can't wait. I'm really ready to give up now. Congrats to PC! Oh and I've realised I have 7 weeks today until my ELCS, eeeek!

Congrats to Porkchop, I'm hoping it's going to be a trend with babies from 3rd tri not going too overdue. My Mum and Dad go on holiday 9 days after my DD and they are stressing that they will be away so I CAN'T go too overdue!
Also saw Margot's update yesterday, so great to have a date!
BG - ah, bacon on a Friday. It's my normal tradition too but I'm feeling a bit yuck this morning so think I'll skip it.
D - yay for your H being home, that's great that his work need him locally now as well.
PS - 7 weeks til you meet your little one, how exciting!
AFM - bad night's sleep last night = feeling sicky this morning :( Still, plenty to look forward to - haircut with MIL tonight, guy coming to measure up for carpets for stairs and baby's room tomorrow then BBQ in the afternoon at my friend's house (sunny weather vibes please!) then a lazy day Sunday to recover.
Hope everyone has a lovely day + weekend x
i dont think 've been on here all week! how rude!
BG - i am always jealous of your bacon treat on a friday! hope your party goes well & you dont look like a saddo

Morning! Sorry this is the first time I've been on this week too!
BG - bacon and pancakes sound yummy - much nicer than the cornflakes I had!
Daisy - Enjoy Gruffalo's Child. We saw Room on the Broom last year and it was brilliant!
PS - not long left to work now!
Popcorn - hope the day goes quickly. It's horrible when you've had a bad night's sleep.
Twink - good luck tidying! I know the feeling!
AFM - all OK here. Sick of trying to sleep on my left though and can't get comfy at night. Any good ideas gratefully received! Going to have as restful a day as possible!

Congratulations again to Porkchop, nice to see a few BAs in the last few days.
BG, enjoy the bacon and pancakes and hope the party goes well.
Daisy, glad your H will be around now.
Poppyseeds, not long till ML or baby now!
Popcorn, hope the sickness goes, sounds like a nice weekend though.
Twink, 3 weeks will fly by!
AFM, for those who didn't get back on yesterday, I finally have a date for 12th August so only just over two weeks till baby! Plans for today are fairly dull, shopping this morning then some housework this afternoon, then after Joshua's swimming lesson we're taking the boys to my mum's for the night and going out for a meal - last date night for a while so looking forward to that. Not a lot planned for the rest of the weekend, we talked about going to the seaside for the day but the weather looks iffy so we'll see.

Margot eeeek! if my 3 weeks will fly by then 2 weeks will be here in no time :)
26/07/2013 at 09:19
BG, that does sound quite stressful, especially the cleaning! I'm sure it will be a success though!
Daisy, that's fab news about your H's job. You both must be very relieved
PS, ahh not long left in work now!
PC, sounds like a busy start to the weekend. Enjoy!
Twink, three weeks will fly by!!
Rhian, glad you're well. I'm struggling to sleep on left too. Find right side a little better but still need to get up in night for a bit to loosen up hips before going back to bed!
Margot, that's fab you got a date finally! 12th Aug isn't far away at all!!!
AFM - okay, getting quite grumpy now!! This baby is just too big for me and everything is uncomfortable. Really wish he would engage to move the weight down a bit, but no such luck. Engagement vibes gratefully received!
Meeting NCT ladies this morning and another friend this afternoon so keeping busy today. Also need to do some batch cooking but it's 25c in the house so not really the day to do it.
Have a good day all x

Congratulations again Porkchop!
Bridget – hope your party goes well.
Daisy – great news about H not having to go back to London. Enjoy your weekend, sounds a fun one ahead.
PoppySeeds – not much time left in work. And squeeee... 7 weeks to go!
Popcorn – oh no, hope you are feeling better soon. Exciting weekend ahead.
Twink – whoop! Not long now until you finish work.
Margot – 12th will definitely be here before you know it! Enjoy your date night.
Pirate Wife – fingers crossed he starts to engage soon. Have a brilliant day, I’d love to do batch cooking but we just don’t have any freezer space.
AFM – I appear to have a new morning routine which is getting up between 5/6am for breakfast, then by 7/8am I head back to bed and somehow manage to sleep (maybe even better than in the night!) until 9/10am. I’m getting more uncomfortable now, so I’ll be happy if baby wants to make an early appearance. Got a relaxing Saturday ahead before niece should be popping over on Sunday, will be good to see her as don’t think we’ve seen her since I’ve been pregnant and in her words she wants to have a bit of a “bump watch” before baby arrives.

twink - 3 weeks will fly by for you I hope!
rhian - no helpful ideas on the sleep I'm afraid, I am also sick of sleeping on my left. I propped myself up with a hundred pillows the other night and slept sat upright (ok, a hundred is exaggerating...) and that was ok for one night but don't think I could do it every night. I just fancied a change!
M - date night sounds fun, have a lovely time.
PW - engagement vibes coming your way lovely!
Sapphire - your morning routine sounds like my weekend routine, can't wait until it's my weekday routine! Have fun with your niece on Sunday :)
26/07/2013 at 13:28
Rhian - just realised I missed you out. Sorry! I can't really help with the sleep issue, I try to sleep with head and chest up for the heartburn the feet up because they get swollen. All in all not the comfiest. Oh and something between my knees to try and help my pelvis.
I should probably point out our niece is almost 22! But this will be her first cousin on H's side of the family, she was crazy excited when we told her and said she'd be able to take them out drinking when they are 18. Until H kindly scared her by saying they won't want to be partying with their 40 year old cousin! lol

Hi All, quick post from me-had a stressy day with the girls, we went into town to get them a couple of summer dresses each which they got as well as a Royal Baby happyland set each, a trip to the cafe and lunch out and all I get in return is them fighting and not doing as they are told. As soon as we got home they have played nicely together and I am trying to ignore the mess they are creating. We are going to the seaside for the weekend and I'm trying to get us packed for that but it's been a very slow process as I am completely wiped out from the stress of this morning!
Sorry that turned into a rant, think I just needed to get it off my chest! Back to the packing.....
Hope you all have a fab weekend!!

The upside of us being low on numbers is I can get back on to do some personals...
Daisy - great that your H isn't going back to London. Enjoy Gruffalos child
PS - not many working days left at all. I worked out today I only had a max of 15 work days left, which got me equally excited and scared!
PC - lots going on for you! Sunny vibes for tomorrow, it's rain rain rain for us (Essex) I think.
Twink - hope it's not all work no play this weekend
M - enjoy your date night!
PW - hopefully you've not got too long to go sweetie.
Sapphire - I like the sound of your routine!
Rhian - I must admit I find myself on my right and even my back a lot in the night.
Noggin - ignore the mess. Nearly bed time....
AFM - given hardly anyone was in the office today I decided to treat myself to an early leave, getting the 4pm train rather than my usual 5pm. At least it'll give me a chance to start on tidying the house. Or at least the kitchen to make way for my Tesco delivery tonight - sooo rock and roll!
26/07/2013 at 17:44
So late in the day now it's impossible to do personals, so I will endevour to do so over the weekend!
35+6 today and I am certainly starting to feel the tiredness. And my feet are aching, which is in part to living in flip flops for 2weeks but must also be the ligament thing too? Baby a-ok I think. Might be more head-down ish as I think it had hiccups last night and it was low.
Have a good weekend, be back tomorrow properly.
Any more BA's on horizon? Vibes to those who are due/fed up and want out now!
