Cross posted coco!
Thank you for your well wishes & I'll see you on second Tri soon :) enjoy all the baby movements !!
Big congrats to Gavi :)
Afm - another restless sleepiness night, far too much going on in my wee head combined with horrendous hormonal headaches - bleugh
FX all is well with scan so we can make all our phone calls & texts then head up town - another look at eternity rings, maternity clothes shopping & out for dinner with my parents in evening. This is pending on me not collapsing at any point through day with tiredness!
Hi to all who follow - if I dont get back on I'll post scan pic tomorrow :)

Coco - Eee your last day! How very exciting and scary (but mostly exciting!). You make very beautiful little boys so if this one is also a boy I am sure he will be very handsome. Very jealous you can feel movements, I have a long while to wait for that but I'm really looking forward to it.
SaSaSi - Good luck for you scan today. I'm also very jealous of your eternity ring shopping! I'm sure being nervous/excited about your scan didn't help you sleep last night. Looking forward to you pic later today or tomorrow x
Gavi - I bet it was lovely to see bubble and know all is well x
AFM - I don't think I ever have news!? Probably because I spend so much time napping on the sofa! 17 days until our scan, back to work today, AL next week though - yippee. One day I'll have something really exciting to tell you all.
10/02/2014 at 07:33
SaSaSi - sounds like a fab day! Shall be glued to fb for your announcement ;-)
Ducky - I never have any news either....but it all starts coming in 2nd tri when you feel baby etc, more scans and baby shopping too! Thanks for your comments, I think I is gorgeous obviously but I'm rather biased! I'd be chuffed boy or girl, doesn't bother me either way as long as we've a new addition to our family!

I can't actually believe I'm posting here because it's all still sinking in but hey ho, here I am!
Coco - I can't believe you're off to 2nd tri already! Great to hear you've felt some movements already.
SaSaSi - a busy day ahead for you then! Good luck for the scan and enjoy everything you have planned for the rest of the day. Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight.
Ducky - yay to AL next week! Not long to wait now!
AFM, as I mentioned above, it's all still sinking in really. It's obviously still really early days but I can't help but get ahead of myself a little. Not much else to report though other than feeling super tired. I'll try to give the GP surgery a call later and find out whether I need the GP to refer me to the MW or whether I can book an appointment with her directly. Other than that, I'm taking F to singing group this morning - wish me luck, I have zero energy...

Ducky - nothing wrong with having no news! The quiet life is good :)
Coco - I have both our Facebook walls locked so no one can write it up before we do! Lol
Weather girl - congrats & welcome to first tri :)
10/02/2014 at 08:35
SaSaSi - all the best for your scan! x
AFM - I'm off work with a rubbish cold, snuggled on sofa with duvet, lots of layers on, paracetomol taken and tissues at the ready. It's only 7 more sleeps until our scan, which I'm already worrying about, especially now I feel so rubbish but I'm hoping a few days chilled out on the sofa will do me some good and put me right. Can't wait to see little one and know everything is ok, not had any sickness since Friday but I reckon that's because my body is too busy dealing with the cold!!

Grrr to Monday!
Coco - hope to see you over on second tri very soon!
SaSaSi - good luck for your scan. Sounds like you have the perfect day planned :)
Ducky - lucky you having a week off!
Weather Girl - welcome! :)
Alipops - sorry you have a cold :( it hits you so much harder when pg!
AFM: well I came home on Friday to a letter from work with my scores for redundancy, which put me in the 'provisionally selected for redundancy' group. I knew I would be (and aren't that bothered) but it still upset me. It made me realise just how much the last couple of years has affected my work, with my dads battle with cancer, losing him, the stress/anxiety/depression that went with it and then my difficult TTC journey and MMC last year. It seems unfair to be judged on all of that, but there again I just think I want out anyway so why kick up a fuss?
Anyway, had a lovely weekend telling a couple of sets of friends, my best friend was so happy for us she cried! Felt rough on Saturday but had an ok day yesterday - I'm hoping that this is the start of me picking up a bit! Or am I dreaming?!
Speaking of dreams, I dreamt last night that we had a little boy, called him George and he was 2 months early so we hadn't bought anything. For some reason I was at home, suddenly realised we hadn't even got a Moses basket for him to sleep in and then my H brought him in through the door in a Moses basket given by the hospital to bring him home in as we didn't have a car seat! Lol. x

Coco - good luck on 2nd tri, will be sad to see you go though you've been so welcoming! How lovely to feel movements too, do you think you're feeling earlier because it's your 2nd baby?
SaSaSi - GOOD LUCK TODAY!!!
Ducky - I feel like all I've done since I found out is nap!
Weather girl - congratulations on your bfp! I guess we are only a few days apart? I am 4+6 today.
Alipops hope you feel better soon, my H woke up yesterday with killer manflu and I've told him not to give it to me!
Browny - sorry about the redundancy situation, totally understandable that you would be upset, but try not to take it personally, as far as I'm aware redundancies have to be made on the basis of the role no longer being required rather than any performance. And with any luck you can make this a good thing.
I've also had some odd dreams in the last week but nothing actually baby related yet.
AFM no change really, still tired, still a bit nauseus but no actually sickness. Planning to tell my boss end of next week after we have a big project out of the way. I'm trying not to wish the whole pregnancy away, rather focus on tiny little milestones, feels like they are easier to reach.
Hi to all that follow x

Hello everyone! Thanks for you lovely messages about my scan! You're all lovely :) Fingers crossed Bubble keeps growing the way they should!
Coco - I am sad you're leaving but good luck in 2nd tri and I am looking forward to seeing you in there soon, hopefully!!
Sasasi - good luck for your scan :)
Ducky - I love how much you nap! I am not very good at sleeping in the day but I did nap at the weekend, which was awesome
WG - Congratulations and welcome to first tri. We are all very nice in here :)
Alipops - hope you get better soon
Browny - sorry to hear about the letter - you've got a million reasons why you've not been focused on work, and that is understandable - but take this as a positive as it gives the opportunity for you to focus on 'George' (that's what baby will be known as now!!)
Malteasers - yea, it's hard but I have found milestones help! I don't want to wish time away either - it's just this bit where you can't tell anyone!!
AFM - had a nightmare journey into work and thought I was going to chunder for most of it. Other than that, still chuffed with seeing Bubble on screen yesterday :) We are having our bathroom done this week so I can only hope my house isn't an utter tip when I get home!!
Hi to all that follow xx

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies.
Alipops - hope you soon feel better.
Browny - sorry to hear about the redundancy, definitely understandable that you're upset about it. It might be difficult to think about it now but perhaps it's a bit of a blessing in disguise? You can concentrate on your baby without the added stress from work x
Maltersers - congratulations! I think I'm around 4 weeks (although every calculator seems to suggest something different!) so we're not far apart.
Gavi - yay to having a new bathroom, I get rather excited by these housey type things haha. You'll have to flash pics when it's done.
I've just phoned up and have my booking in appointment with the MW on 3rd March so I'll be around 7 weeks. It's the same MW I saw when pregnant before so that'll be nice.
10/02/2014 at 13:26
Well I spoke to soon. I had next week booked off to look after my dad's gorgeous dog whilst he went skiing. I was looking forward to lots of fresh air out with the dog and hopefully some good sleep. Well, turns out Dad has hurt his hip and isn't going skiing anymore! Which means I am not needed for dog sitting. So I've decided to save my AL for later (when I'm an elephant) or have real plans and for when my H is off too.
Welcome WG - Massive congratulations!
SaSaSi - what time is your scan?
Ali - Sorry to hear you have a cold.
Browny - Sorry your work sucks balls but you'll be so much happier when you're out of there. Don't dwell on them too much lovely. Great news about telling your friends, I'm really looking forward to telling people.
Maltesers - I told my boss about 6 weeks because of my bleeding. It has been really good though because I can have time out for appointments with no questions asked! Really handy :)
Gavi - Yoh remind of my little sister saying chunder. It is probably her most overused word! Sorry the commute was rubbish.
10/02/2014 at 14:39
Ducky, I'll be 6+3 next Friday when I plan to tell him, I would tell him now if it wasn't for the big project that's going out, he's got a lot on his mind and will be out of the office for most of the next week so I figure waiting will do no harm to me and he'll actually be able to process it in his brain rather than being on another planet!!
10/02/2014 at 14:47
Maltesers - I know I feel like I'm wishing time away. I just want my 12-week scan out the way and maybe this sickness to go away and I'll be ok! Good luck for telling your boss!
Gavi - lol at 'George'. Hope your house isn't in too much of a state later!
Weather Girl - Yay on booking the mw appointment! That felt like a big milestone for me, as I didn't get to it last time.
Ducky - shame about cancelling your leave, but yes makes sense to use it when you'll need it more.
10/02/2014 at 17:28
Hi coco, 2nd tri, wow! Hope it all continues to go well. Strange seeing people move on.
Hope scan went well sasasi. Did you choose a ring?
Ducky, you know what they say- no news is good news. I'm desperate for sleep too! Sorry you had to cancel your leave.
WG hope the singing went well.
Alipops- sorry you're feeling rubbish, hope you feel better soon.
Browny, sorry to hear about redundancies, I hope it all works out for you.
Maltesers- I haven't told anyone at work yet. I won't until we have our scan in a fortnight. I'm just about managing to keep things normal though I'm very tired and have had felt nauseous and faint at times. I think my technician has guessed as I keep having to ask him to pop in in case I need to leave the room.
Gavi wonderful news about the scan!
AFM I'm looking forward to next week and relaxing! Four more days of work.
