I hope you all had a good weekend :)
AFM- I worked all weekend, so tired! ready for my day off tomorrow. I'm feeling down today, I keep wondering if the odd pain here or there is real or physiological! I had what I imagine to be a bit of spotting yesterday, everything I've read suggests this is normal but I can't but worry! :(
ugh. sorry to start this post on a downer!! I hope you're having a better day then me! xxx

Haha. I just cross posted! Yours was first though :)

Sorry to hear you're having a bit of a bad day. I am sure it's nothing boo but keep an eye on it. Fingers crossed you feel better soon.
AFM, I feel rough as f*ck today!! Very queasy this morning and nearly passed out on the tube (had to ask someone to let me sit down as people ignore Baby on Board badges apparently). Feel a bit better after some toast but I do wish I was in bed!
Hi to all that follow x

Boo - sorry you're tired. I had lots if bleeding early on, it doesn't always mean bad news. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Gavi - ah man sorry you're feeling rubbish. Hope you feel a bit better this afternoon x
AFM - I think I may be past the worst of first tri exhaustion and sickness *touches any bit of wood I can find*. I still feel queasy and tired, but more human. Really hope the last 2 days are the start of me feeling brighter as I await my second tri blooming ;) I've also slept quite well! *touches another bit of wood*
Scan is Thursday so 3 more sleeps - I bet I struggle to sleep on Wednesday!

Afternoon all, quiet again!
Boo - sorry you are feeling down. If you are worried about the spotting go see your doctor, they might book you in for an early scan.
Gavi -sorry you are feeling so rough
Ducky - hope this is when you start feeling better! Makes such a difference. Good luck for your scan!
AFM:I did enjoy the baby show but I got quite overwhelmed. Felt like I should have been making the most of the discounts but I just haven't really looked at anything yet and decided what I want! I did however get my cloth nappies there, which I had researched and saved about £80. We also got baby's first teddy there too :)
We've told everyone now, so its official! I got a bit panicky last night, because I felt like we've invested so much now if something went wrong. I know there comes a point when you have to stop thinking like that but I aren't ready yet.
I also got made redundant today. Expected but it was still sad to go, having worked there for 7 years and it was my first 'proper' job. At least I don't have to work my notice period. So lots of daytime TV it is for me then! ;)

Ducky - fingers crossed this is you coming out the other side. You deserve as I think you've had it tough enough!
Browny - sorry to hear about the redundancy. Big believer that everything happens for a reason and maybe this is the best thing for you and mini Browny. Do you get a decent package? I can't wait til we can tell people - we are finally telling H's parents this week...I hope MIL keeps her mouth shut though.
PP - don;t worry about that - I am a 14-16 and overweight (according to my BMI, I am technically obese, I dispute this a lot!!). The doctor just said to try and maintain exercise where possible so I am trying to walk lots, and once I have got into second tri, I will start pregnancy yoga,
Hope you're all having an OK Monday!

Hi ladies, just a quickie from me. I have my scan tomorrow - at last! What do I need to do? Do I need a full bladder? No info on the letter or from midwife. TIA.

Evening all, sorry I didn't get on at the weekend, had friends down. I was so tired yesterday after they went and have been today too. Just counting down to Friday for our booking in appointment and hoping that they book us in for an early scan.
Boo hope your feeling a bit better now and if your worried about the spotting contact your midwife.
Gavi hope that the queasiness has worn off a bit and the journey home wasn't as bad.
Ducky that's exciting about your scan and feeling better!
Browny that's a great discount on nappies! I think I want to try reusable ones, even if its for home. K was very little so wouldn't have fitted in them, but sometimes she looked so uncomfortable in the disposal ones.how exciting that you've told everyone!
Picklepants they can't really tell you off, I think they will be fine. Have you had to fill in a booklet with all your details in? I got one through the post Thursday and have filled it in ready.
Raincloud as pp said, drink a pink before and yes they go quite low! They press down with reasonable pressure which isn't comfortable when you've got a full bladder!

Boo: I'm sure the spotting is fine but if it continues or you're at all worried go & see a doctor, that's what they're there for x
Gavi: Tube journeys whilst feeling ill can't be fun, hope you're near the end of the queasiness
Ducky: 3 days till the scan, how exciting. Can I ask though, did you have an early scan before this? Just wondered how you already knew you were having twins? Do you know if they're identical? Sorry for all the questions it's just twins intrigue me!
Browny: so exciting to be able to tell people (I'm finding that so hard!), & well done on the bargain cloth nappies. I tried last time but my daughter didn't take to them but might try again this time. Enjoy daytime tv!
Pickle pants: I wouldn't worry about being told off, no one is going to tell you to watch your weight now that you're pregnant. Hope you get a nice mw
raincloud: exciting about your scan. For ours I was told to drink a pint about an hour before the scan. Also take money with you for the scan pictures (they were more than I expected but worth it)
Bunny: Not long to go till booking in. Hope you get your early scan. How far along do you think you are?
AFM: Had my 1st day back after half term & it was the longest day ever & I'm completely shattered. Luckily I didn't have to pee lots as I was worried I'd have to leave the classroom in order to do so & get sussed but looks like I'll be ok. Feel really hungry all the time & am eating far too much, think I'm gonna end up with a telling belly far too quickly.
Also, for some strange reason, I decided to do another IC. Hubby thinks I'm crazy but (same as last time) I don't feel pregnant in fact don't feel anything different & just wanted to make sure I hadn't made it all up!!

Hiya Blackcat - yes I have had a couple of early scans, private ones and also one at the IVF clinic before they discharge you to normal midwife care. They aren't identical, they each have their own placenta and sac. We have two embryos transferred and they both decided to hang around!
Booo for the long day and being tired :(
