Coco - I hope they get your phone line sorted soon. I remember when we moved, the people who lived here before forgot to sort out the redirection for their mail so the woman thought it was a good idea to get hold of H's mobile number and keep ringing him to pop round to collect their post! Was rather awkward.
AFM, baby wise everything seems okay. I have my MW appointment tomorrow morning and then an appointment to see a consultant about my cyst in the afternoon. I wonder if they'll scan me again? In other news, I still have a poorly toddler. He's always been so good when it comes to taking medicine but it's been taking two of us to get his antibiotics in him, it's awful and really starting to wear me down. Anyway, enough of the woe is me. Hope you all had a good weekend. I'm hoping to get out of the house for a bit later before I go mad!
Hi to all who follow x

Hey Coco & Weather Girl :)
Coco - Fingers crossed the internet etc is working for you by Monday, it's always frustrating having to wait for things like that to get sorted! Hope the scan goes well on the 16th!
WG - Sorry to hear your little one is poorly, sounds really difficult if he won't take the meds either - poor lil guy! Hope midwife goes well tomorrow and same with the consultant appointment too
AFM - I've got some real discomfort today in my bump, it's constant ache and paracetamol isn't shifting it - very weird and disconcerting. Still no movements felt from Paperclip, my H reckons baby takes after him and is just lazy and can't be bothered haha. I just wish they'd do something so I could be reassured they are in there!

Coco - oh how frustrating! Hopefully it will be sorted soon. Not long til the scan now either! Exciting times.
WG - I would have thought they would scan you if they were concerned about the cyst. Be good to have a proper follow up though, I hope it goes well. Really hope you get out for a bit today and your little one feels better asap.
PS - I am sure they're moving lots just in the wrong direction! Hopefully you feel him move soon. How long has your bumb been hurting? I get that sometimes, normally after I've walked a lot.
AFM - I have ordered all of our day nappies and just need to sort night ones. Hoping to get a good deal on real nappy week. Nothing else really to report baby wise. Just want a moving date so I can get going on the nursery. I can't wait to set up!
Hi to thsoe that follow

Hi all, taking the opportunity to do a quick post while A is playing.
Coco - hope the internet gets sorted soon. One of the worst parts of moving, sorting all those bits and bobs out! Yay for booking the 4d scan, that's very exciting, you'll have to show us photos.
WG - sorry to hear about your poorly toddler :( I'm guessing you've tried a syringe? It took two of us to get A's antibiotics into him too, when he had a chest infection. By the end of the week he'd got used to it and would take it without crying but he would look at me with big sad eyes as if to say "Mummy you've broken my spirit" - broke my heart! Do you have to give it more than once a day? Poor F and poor you :(
PS - hope your bump feels better soon. Do you have an anterior placenta? Even if not, it's quite common not to feel anything regular at this stage in a first pregnancy. I think I was well over 24 weeks before I started to feel anything regular with A.
AFM - got a grouchy little toddler today, not ideal as we've got another estate agent coming round to value our flat. We had three on Weds, one we discounted as he valued the place at £100k less than the others(!). How on earth do you decide between them?! Need to make an appt with the bank too to discuss the mortgage and then we can get the ball rolling, fingers crossed we can move before baby girl gets here, but maybe just afterwards if not.
Am feeling a bit sad and hormonal at the moment, mirroring the weather, hope it clears up soon.

Coco - boo to no internet! But yay for the scan, that will come round quickly.
WG - sorry to hear little one still isn't well :( hope he gets better soon.
PS - I'm sure you'll feel stuff soon. I have felt a few movements, it's not consistent but there is definitely something there! With you on the bump ache by the way, I've got stretching in places I never knew existed!
Saisi - hope A cheers up soon love, fingers crossed all house stuff goes well. I think with estate agents, you have to go with your gut a bit, they're all ar$eholes really! With you on feeling sad. I'm in a massive funk that I just can't get myself out of.
AFM - well I am miserable today. It's really hard coming in to work not knowing how long you will be here, and also knowing that your clients have opted not to use you any longer. Bl00dy kn0bheads. I'm hoping I will get a decent redundancy package, and I can just forget the whole thing. Will try and get some temp work if I can too, just for a bit of extra money. Anyway, enough of the woe is me, I should really be less grumpy, as I ORDERED THE PRAM THIS WEEKEND. We went to the Baby Show at Bluewater, and I got the Bugaboo Cameleon 3, with car seat adaptors for £769 (RRP £899).
Here it is

Coco - grrr to the people who moved out! where is your 4D scan being done? we have been looking into this, I may treat myself with my birthday money
WG - oh the joys of getting medicine in children, I feel your pain, Molly is a complete nightmare
PS- I am sure the pains are just stretching pains, there is so much going on inside. Total pain I know but at least it shows everything is growing as it should! Do you have doppler? you could listen to baby for reassurance then?
Jonesy - I am jealous, I really want to use Cloth but OH is not convinced, still working on it though!
Saisi - £100k less? that is ridiculous!! good luck with the other valuation and mortgages etc, they have just changed the way they are aassessing and we were put through the mill last week, still good to know what we can get/afford if the house comes up that we like.
Gavi - it's a rubbish situation! when will HR be discussing redundency etc with you? hopefully that will settle things for you a little bit. I love your pram - great colour
AFM - it's been a rubbish and trying weekend, glad it is over. Have a sickness bug as does molly but whereas she is at home under a blanket watcing CBeebies and getting Nanny cuddles I am at work - being a grown up sucks!! Going to get everything done and then head home ASAP. Baby is kicking away like a trooper now and it is lovely that you can feel from the outside so Molly has a little chat with my bump every morning and night which is very very cute!! Lauren just thinks we are all bonkers but then being 16 and your Mum being pregnant is not very "street cool", if nothing else it has put her off teenage pregnancy
28/04/2014 at 12:22
Saisi - hope today's valuation goes well. Don't have a clue about selling a house though! Do they all have similar deals? The only thing I can think of is to go and see if you can get sale times and stuff from websites?
Gavi - I really feel for you. I've felt like that about my job since November and it's still rumbling on. I have taken a redeployment so I still have a job but it's not as challenging or in the right field so I'm still a bit bummed about it. When will you get more info? The pram is gorgeous though so that should put a smile on your face at least for a while. Big hugs.
NB - how cute of Molly! I nearly cried just imagining it so I'm not sure how you cope in real life! Molly is also my fave girls name for bean although I was put off slightly when we told a friend at H's work and she said it back in her very strong north west accent. More Moll-eh than Moll-ee haha.

I won't know more until we know which agency is taking over the work - there is the potential I'll be TUPE'd over but to be honest, I'd rather take redundancy, as I can't envisage myself coming back into London after mat leave. I'd rather find something local. I'm sure it will all work out for the best, it just would have been preferable for this to happen in about three months time. Oh well, everything happens for a reason and that.
Nina - that's not bonkers it's lovely. Although good work on discouraging the teenage pregnancy, haha! Hope you feel better soon

Missed you Jonesy, apologies! We have Bamboozle stretchies which are fantastic. With A we didn't use them from newborn so just got size 2 (9-35lb) but for baby girl we've bought some in size 1 (which I think goes from 6-18lb) as we're hoping to use cloth from birth this time. Then she can share A's, which sort of sounds a bit disgusting when you think about it but there you go! They're so cute, sure you will find some good offers. Re: the estate agents, yeah they've got similar offers but they do all have some distinguishing features, might need to bust out an Excel spreadsheet...
Gavi - woooop what an awesome purchase. Love the colour too, A has a Morrck hoodie in just that shade and we've just bought one for baby girl too. Our feature wall, curtains and cushions are that shade... I bullied H into it and now he loves it ha ha. Sorry, that's really off-topic, I just love that colour and didn't realise Bugaboo had it! Sort of tempted to see if I can get the fabrics for the Donkey now... (we currently have an almost-red kind of hot pink colour).
Nina - ohhh how cute of Molly. Sorry to hear she (and you) are not well, that sucks. I have heard about them changing the questions they ask about mortgages, I'm concerned they'll think we're lying when really we are just genuinely boring and don't go out much, don't get magazine subscriptions etc!

S - pretty sure they do them for the Donkey.

Oh it's so pretty. I don't really want to spend another £200 though :( (for the carrycot and then two covers for the seat units)!
28/04/2014 at 15:35
PS - how is the pain in your bump now? Did you call your MW?
Jonesy - well done for being so organised on the nappy front! I don't know why but cloth nappies have never really appealed to me.
Saisi - F's antibiotics are 3x daily We've been using a syringe else he just knocks a spoon out of our hand. It's really odd because when he first started it on Friday he was fine but the last day or two he's just been putting up such a fight. I hope the estate agent wasn't round too long, I agree with Gavi in that sometimes you have to trust your gut.
Gavi - I hope your work situation is resolved soon, it must be stressing you out a little. Great deal on the pram!
NB - sorry to hear you're poorly. Being unwell as a parent sucks big time, unfortunately we don't get sick days. Hope you soon feel better.
Dare I say I *think* F might be picking up slightly. He still has his awful cough but has been a little perkier this afternoon and has even managed to eat 2 yogurts and 1/4 of a cracker! We managed to pop out and get him some shoes sorted so at least that's done. Not looking forward to giving him his next lot of antibiotics, trust H to be home late today...
I was thinking earlier, I've not bought anything at all for this baby yet. I guess part of it's because we already have most things but I'm also trying to hold off until we find out the sex.
