Just wrote a long thread and lost it! Hope everyone is ok, not much to report here, still v little in way of movement, pregnancy insomnia has hit too. Off to an under 5s play cafe thus morning, then meeting my mum and her friend at Livingston for lunch.
Hope you are all well - think there's someone with a scan today? My memory is shocking at the mo, can't remember who. Good luck anyway x

Weekender - hope you enjoy lunch with your mum.
CK - have fun painting :)
Afm - I had a lovely weekend visiting a friend who has got a 3 month old baby. Made me really broody :) work today and then I might go to aqua natal tonight to see what it's like.

Weekender and ck sorry you both had bad nights. Weekender at least lunch sounds nice, ck as in decorating painting?

Ah stupid thing sent before I was ready! We have toddler swimming this morning then visiting a friend and her 2 this afternoon. We had a weekend trailing car show rooms with a toddler in row but think we've decided on a skoda Octavia They are huge inside and really smart so just got to see what kind of deal we can do now it's quite exciting, never had a brand new car before!! Not much happening pregnancy wise except I've had my first coffee since I got my bfp as insuddenly realised h's didn't smell disgusting this morning. I'm a 5 or 6 cup a day sort of person when not pregnant so I've missed it!

Hope those who had a rubbish sleep make up for it tonight.
CK enjoy painting. I really need to get my but in gear and pick wallpaper. My livingroom was plastered about a month ago and we still haven't done anything else!
Weekender enjoy lunch.
LD sounds like a lovely weekend.
AR enjoy your swimming. Hope you get to put your feet up after.
I'm pretty sore this morning. Think its from cutting the grass yesterday. The law mower weighs a flipping tonne and the grass was sodding wet which didn't help. I'm working this morning then taking the children for trainers. I swear ill cry if L's feet have grown again. He was a size 7 in June and by August he was a 10! 7 pairs of trainers over the summer he went through - toes completely out of them because of his bike. I just can't keep up with him! They have their martial art class to iChat so dinner is always a rush on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Hope everyone is well x

I am joining you ladies today.
Weekender- Hope the insomnia improves! Enjoy your lunch.
CK- Sorry you had a rubbish sleep. Have fun painting, have you got lots to do?
LD- Bet that made you excited to meet you little one. Aqua natal sounds good. I have been looking for some similar classes in my area.
AR- Have fun swimmimg. Oh a new car, how exctiting. i am on the look out myself as I have a mini and its going to be too small :(
LR- Wow thats quite a growth spurt! Hope you have a good day and arent too sore.
AFM- Second tri finally! Since last night I have had a pain in my right side, the doctor thinks I have a hernia, so hope its just that playing up. Still weeing in the night quite a bit, has that got better for you 2nd tri ladies? Just at work today which i think will go slow as the helicopters cant fly in this weather so will be a quiet day!
14/10/2013 at 09:50
Morning ladies! I'm still not feeling 100% after my dodgy tummy yesterday so I'm going to take it easy today whilst the boy is at school although the house is a tip!

WE - oh pregnancy insomnia = not good. My bestie gave me a cussons mum to be lavender spray for my pillow to help me sleep. Might be worth looking at. I also use a sleep meditation app on my phone on particularly bad nights that I can point you in the direction of if you are interested.
CK - what you painting? Hope it goes well!
LD - I'm thinking about Aqua Natal too so look forward to hearing how you get on.
AR - Great news about the car! Exciting! Hope you enjoyed your coffee!
LR - Ooft that sounds sore! I wouldn't even look at the lawnmower so much respect to you!
Bertie - Welcome! Good to seey you over here! What do you do for a living? Sounds interesting! Getting up for the toilet in the night has settled right down for me. I'm only up once now and sometimes it's not till 6am! Amazing! It was probably 15/16 weeks that happened.
Isis - Forget the housework and take it easy. Hope you are feeling better soon.
AFM - it's me who has my 20 week scan today! It's 2.30. Looking foward to seeing bubs again! Feeling lots of movement in the evenings now and can feel the little kicks from the outside too. Shame my H is always fast asleep when it happens! Have a great day all.
14/10/2013 at 11:26
Isis- Have lots of rest, hope you feel better soon.
Sweetpea- Good luck for your scan! I cant wait to feel movements :) when did you start to feel them? I work for a helicopter flying school, I enjoy it but it can be quite lonely and quiet when we have bad weather.
14/10/2013 at 11:27
Ooh Sweetpea are you finding out the sex?
I've not been getting up for a wee as much either, or I'll wake about 6 for a wee which isn't awful!
14/10/2013 at 12:01
Oh Weekender, I HATE losing a decent post. I did it on here twice once and the result was about one line of ranting, I just could not be bothered to go back again!
CK - what painting are you doing?
LD - 3 mths, cute age, boy or girl?
AR - I'm a total convert to tea, I persevered with 2 small cups of coffee a day but am much happier now on the tea. They're happy at home because I was the only real coffee drinker, although not so happy because my son bought us a cute coffee maker for a wedding present lol! The car sounds great, I am rubbish at keeping nice cars nice though :)
LR - hate shoes shopping with kids with a passion! Twice Harry has had no shoes because no shops near us had anything that fitted him, and now he's a big 13 it takes ages to find something and I am adamant you can't buy shoes online, you HAVE to try them. (Not that *I* practice what I preach)
Hi Bertie, brilliant to see you, with you and AR I am DEFINITELY not the new girl lol. I had a night recently where I didn't even get up to wee, which was a first, it's so annoying isn't it. Helicopters? What's your job? (hoping you're a pilot...)
Feel better soon Isis!
Yay for scan Sweetpea, please post the pic. Are you looking for pink or blue or keeping it a surprise? Can't wait until I get outside kicks...
I had a very hectic but mostly lovely weekend. Work is busy but good. House is terribly behind on all things that fall to me, loads of wedding things still not sorted, I've things to sort, things to sell etc. I am mostly rubbish but want that room for the baby things we've bought and so that hubby can paint it. I feel a bit tender on my bump where baby is, but I think that's worrying as much as anything. I mostly have several little movements a day (night) but really excited for hubby and son to be able to feel. I need to lose some weight too, so that's high on the agenda when work calms down. (And hubby stops buying me little foodie treats to 'cheer me up'!)

WE- dont worry my memory is shocking to, how far gone are you now, i got my first kick on friday at 21wks

LR - hope your soreness eases i know its hard but try and look after yourself!
Bertie - yay to 2nd tri!! boooo to pain in side! ive had a constant pain in my groin for weeks but been told not to worry?? hope they sort it out soon for you
SP - good luck for today hope scan goes all ok x
ISIS - Get better soon x
Counter - i can relate to the house thing, we have so much stuff from our move its a joke! including wedding stuff! hope you get it sorted soon!
AFM - busy weekend here, up london saturday for a photo shoot hubby bought for me when i wasn't preggers, honestly if you had seen some of the pics they were freaknig hillarious! i looked like a whale even tho guy sorting through them was laughing with us! luckily i managed to get a nice one of me and bump so that was worth it! as i said yesterday had my first proper kick friday and then again yesterday this has made me so happy! also went out looking for a family car and buggies yesterday! work is manic today but i have half day tomorrow as i have pregnancy physio, then i am off work Friday as me and hubby are going to try and get the nursery started!
thats all from me! xxx please excuse the spelling mistakes

Counter- ha Counter, I am now the new girl! looking back 1st tri seems to have gone quickly but at the time it dragged! I am weeing 5 times sometimes! To be fair I have a terrible bladder anyways and had been in for tests etc before my bfp. Ha no, unfotunately not as glamorous as a pilot, although I have had a lesson in one. i just run the office here. Sounds like a busy weekend. I am just the same with bits I need to sort, and wedding bits to sell. i am just too lazy!
NLH- photo shoot sounds lovely :) glad you managed to get a nice pic. i got H to take one of my bump Saturday and he took it at the most awful angles. hopefully his photography skills will improve in a few weeks! How lovely feeling your first kick.
14/10/2013 at 13:02
Bertie my first sense of a movement was around 15+5 when I felt bubbles popping. I had that on and off for a few weeks. I also had lots of sensations like being tickled from the inside! The first proper kick was only about 9 days ago but it's been getting increasingly more regular. As I don't have much of a bump and I'm slim I'm wondering if that's why it's easier to feel from the outside? Who knows! That's a v cool that you've had a flying lesson! Jealous!
Counter - it's soooo painful getting all that wedding shizz sorted! You'll be so relieved once it's done though!
NLH - that's brilliant that you are feeling the baby lots! Yay! Fancying flashing the lovely photo you have??
As for the gender....it'll be top secret if we do find out! :)
14/10/2013 at 13:56
