Morning ladies, everyone okay? Hope you all had a good weekend.
I ended up having quite a productive evening last night and ordered a changing mat, cellular blanket, pack of sleepsuits, matttress and sheets for the moses basket and some bottles. Gradually getting through the list! I was planing on taking F out to get his feet measured this morning and to look for sandals for him but the shop is closed on Mondays and I didn't realise. Unfortunately I can't even jump in the car to go anywhere as F's car seat is still not dry after having to wash it. Nevermind, will try to pop up there after playgroup tomorrow perhaps. No plans for today other than making some cornflake cakea for the playgroup end of term little party tomorrow.

AFM bsck to work today :( got midwife first thing so hope that will go ok. Had a productive yesterday too and started to clear our spare room out for baby, chucked 2 bags full,of stuff and have 4 bags of stuff to carboot or give to charity shop. Still lots to do but made a good start.

WG sounds like a very good start on the list to me! I love cornflake cake!
Mrs l hope midwife goes well and work isn't too much of a drag.
Baby is constantly wiggling at the moment! Very active in there. Last week at work until the summer holidays yay!

Good Morning Ladies! It's been a while I know!
WG - Sounds like you had a very productive day yesterday! Enjoy making cornflake cakes, I've not had them for years! Love them though!
MrsL - Hope the mw appt goes well. It also sounds like you had a productive day yesterday!
bunny - Love the wiggles!! Enjoy the last week of work.
AFM - I have been a rubbish poster recently. Apologies! I've been so busy since moving house and then went to France on a camping holiday. Sleeping on an airbed for a week was actually ok, admittedly I did buy a huge double height one so I could get up with ease.
Squidge is wiggling away nicely, a very odd sight to see my tummy move!
I've also come to the realisation that I need to pull my finger out and buy baby stuff! Everything is a minefield, where would I start?!
I have rambled on, sorry!!
Have a good day and Hi to those that follow xx

Missed you there Rio!
Boo to being away so early!! :( I hope MW appt goes well! Which car did you buy?
14/07/2014 at 07:58
Hey boo. Glad to hear all things well with you. Got a Mazda Cx-5, if that means anything. It looked nice and big enough for pram and all my work stuff in boot, so i was happy.

MrsL - hope the MW appointment goes well. We could also do with making a start on clearing the spare room but it feels like such an epic job.
Bunny - great to hear baby is super active. Not long until summer hols!
Rio - good luck for your appointment this afternoon. Yay to nice new bigger car!
Boo - I've found writing a list and then ticking off as I go quite helpful. Stops me getting stressed by it all! One thing at a time they say...

Rio - new car looks fab!
WG - I'm one for writing lists for everything. Just hard to know what to put on it!

WG - sounds like you've made an impressive start on your list.
Mrs L - hope mw goes well and sounds like you've been doing some good baby-prep work too.
Bunny - only a few more days until the holidays.
Rio - youch to being awake so long. Hope mw goes well this afternoon.
Boo - I made a list of things I needed for M (which I managed to find on the computer still) so I've just adapted that and we just work through the list making sure we have the essentials first.
AFM - after a drive up to Kiddicare (which is a fair old drive) on Saturday, pretty miffed that we got there and despite having the pram they didn't have a tandem kit for you to see how it works as a tandem. So not such a productive day, but we pop her in the back of another tandem to see how she reacted. Yesterday we went and collected a chest of drawers I won off ebay for £6, that we're going to do up for the nursery. We've survived with just a wardrobe with boxes in so far for M but with 2 of them, 1 wardrobe clearly won't be big enough!

Rio hope midwife went well this afternoon.
Boo start with a crib/Moses basket, car seat, pram, sheets for where ever they are going to sleep with blankets and some basic vests and babygrows. That's all you need to begin with! I think it was a leaflet I got from mothercare that had on it stuff to get. Their app has some to do lists on with an idea of what to get.
Sapphire that's annoying they didn't have the right kit. £6 is a bargain for a chest of drawers!
Ended up having to cover a class all day today so didn't get any of the other jobs that I really need to do done!

Sorry I've been a bit awol recently
WG: Sounds like you're doing well. I feel a bit bad as we're barely getting anything for baby pumpkin, it's Isobelle that we're buying things for & he'll get her hand me downs! I noticed you're now 27 weeks, I always thought that it was the beginning of the 3rd tri but google has many different answers!!!
MrsL: Hope the mw appointment went well. Sounds like you've had a good sort out!
Bunny: End of term seems so near yet so far still! We don't finish till lunch time next Wed but as I only work Mon & Tues I'll finish next Tues. Have you got much planned for teh holidays?
Rio: Hope you've had an early night tonight after your early start, but sounds like you've had a productive weekend
Boo: Where did you go in France? We're off to Vendee for a Eurocamp holiday in 2 weeks although they'll be proper beds!! With my 1st I made a list then worked out which things to get each month to spread the cost out. It's easy once you start!
Sapphire: Sounds like you've had a mixed weekend of bargains!
AFM: Pumpkin is definitely a night owl & has started to become very wriggly at night time - really makes a difference having a posterior placenta in comparison with the anterior 1 I had last time. However Isobelle got me up in the middle of the night last night which wasn't quite as fun (she always picks the nights before I have to be up for work!!). We went to Ikea on Saturday & got some bits for Isobelle, including a few toys we weren't intending to buy. I'm getting a little stressed that her room won't be ready in time. My plan is to paint her new room before we go on holiday but that means we need to do it next weekend but there's still a lot to clear out. It didn't help that I had a lot of work to do yesterday & without me nagging him to do something my hubby doesn't seem to do anything (it took him 2 hours do to a small shop yesterday!!) which kept me awake last night (with the wriggly baby & unsettled toddler!). Hope sleep comes easier tonight! Sorry about the essay. Am watching the school production tomorrow so won't be on until Wednesday! Take care & chat to you then x
