Morning all, hope everyone had a good weekend.
We spent a lovely day in the garden and wandering round a car boot sale yesterday, although I definitely caught the sun! Got some nice baby clothes at the car boot, bargain selection for £10 with some really good stuff in and Joshua found Hungry Hippos which is keeping him and his brother entertained for hours. Off to work today but this morning I'm tidying the school garden with some children so get to enjoy the sunshine again!

Morning margot, I've just made the move over from first tri as I was 14 weeks on Sunday. I look forward to getting to know some of you a bit better and catching up with those that have left first tri recently. I love a good bargain sounds like you got one at the boot sale. What a lovely way to spend a work day, sounds lovely. Hope your sun burn isn't too painful?
AFM we've also had a lovely time in the sun this weekend. We had a BBQ on Sunday then yesterday spent the day at an animal park. Isla had great fun running around looking at all the animals and picnicking on the grass. H is back to work today but I'm on my two days off so more time to spend in this glorious weather. x

M - sounds like a lovely day yesterday and sounds like you'll have a fab day at work today. Did you discuss names with your H?
MrsB - welcome to 2nd tri! Enjoy your day in the sunshine.
AFM - had a fab bank holiday weekend, yesterday we went to H's nan's, mainly to pick up the iPad BIL is lending us for our holiday, but as everyone was there we thought it was a nice day to bury Grandad's ashes, sounds morbid but actually it was really nice. Having A there, picking every flower in the garden to put in the whole, helped keep everyone in good spirits.
Broached names with H last night and he's gone off everything other than the name we had for a girl first time round, but I've really gone off that in the last couple of years. I know we have a while but I feel we've made no progress at all in the 16 weeks we've been discussing names!
Today I have A's swimming lesson then sorting out the last of our holiday stuff. We go away THIS WEEK! So excited!

Margot- enjoy your morning outside. I think I need to catch a bit of sun!
Mrs B- sounds like a lovely weekend. Enjoy your days off
BG- at least you only have to think of the name for a girl now you know the sex rather than one for each. I think it's easier to Narrow down your choices when you know which sex to concentrate on
AFM- got the worlds biggest pile of ironing to get through this morning. Hoping W will sleep long enough for me to get through some of it so we can get out in the sun this afternoon.
Had my 16week MW appt yesterday, was lovely to hear baby's heart beat. And now only 3 weeks 2days until 20 week scan- this pregnancy is going far too fast. With W it seemed to drag, but this time as much as I am worn out I know it will be even harder with a baby and a toddler so I'm quite happy for it to stay in there for ages!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day

Margot - that sounds like a lovely day for you and the children, enjoy the sun.
MrsB - hello! Lovely to see you over here, it's a bit scary making the move isn't it but it is comfy in here!
BG - eeek exciting holiday plans! Where are you off to?
We had a gorgeous day yesterday wandering and earing in the countryside and then at the beach. I alao had a wardrobe sort out and put all the things I can still get into together which will hopefully make getting dressed less traumatic. Tuesday is my PPA day so I work from home, this makes my bank holiday seem extra long which is lovely. I might do some of my planning in the garden to make it feel less like work! I should also go into town later really to return the stupid jeans I bought at the weekend. I'm still annoyed about this though so don't really want to think about it!

Morning JT, missed you there. How exciting to hear the heartbeat!
07/05/2013 at 08:43
JT - that's true but we were pretty sorted for a boys name. Typical! Are you going to find out at your scan?
TT - off to Spain. FIL and his wife live out there so it's a cheap option for us. Working from the garden sounds like a top idea!
07/05/2013 at 08:52
Margot- Sounds like you managed to pick up some bargains! Perfect car booting weather.
MrsB- Welcome to 2nd tri :) I was desperate for a BBQ all weekend but couldn't coax anyone in to feeding us and I was being far too lazy to arrange it! haha Glad Isla had fun at the animal parl.
BG- Names are going to be a nightmare here too. Everything I love H hates and vica versa! We have such different tastes. Still have a while to go yet though so plenty of time to fight it out with him! ;)
JT- How lovely hearing baby's heartbeat. I know what you mean about it going really fast! The weeks seem to be zooming by for me too. We have lots to sort out before baby gets here so would like it to slow down too!
Tina- Sounds like you had a lovely day! I really need to sort my wardrobe out too as things are getting a bit of a squeeze now! I have been living in some jeans that are super stretchy material and leggings. Really want the weather to warm up so I can wear some floaty dresses and my belly isn't squished in to clothes!
AFM- We had such a lovely weekend. Told H's daughter on Friday. Her response was 'There's a baby in your belly!? It's a girl and it's called Isabelle'. When we visited family she was telling everyone we were having a girl so god help us if it's a boy! Only 4 weeks until we find out :) We went for a 2 and a half hour dog walk yesterday in the sun. Was so lovely to be out and about in the nice weather. We got completely lost and ended up trudging through cow fields but didn't mind because it was so lovely. Stopped at the pub for a nice cold drink (non-alcoholic!) afterwards as a little treat. Sad to be back at work today as it was the best weekend we've had in a long time.

not got time for personals att he momenty but will try & pop back. beena bit awol. had 4 days off over the weekend and imdefiniately made use of my time off.
friday - i did 2 baby washes, all dried on the line, did a food shop went round several retail parks for a wander with hubs
saturday - cleared my shoe stash - 20 shoes went to the charity clothing bank. had lunch with some ladies from here, popped to my mums who had also done a baby wash for me,
sunday- me and hubs cleared the garden which was to take us all day & took us til 11...so then we decided to paint the outside of the house. that took the rest of the day, all day yesterday & still the second coat on the top to do. as i clearly wasnt shimmying up ladders, i helped with the bottom half, then yesterday painted the fence & the garden furniture.
i am officially knackered. my back is certainly not my friend and i have caught the sun!
Twinklet is all good though. lots of movements & hubs felt it for the first time as well. so least she is a happy little thing :)

Margot - boot sale sounds like fun! you are really gathering all the baby things together.
Mrs B - welcome, and enjoy your extra few days off.
BG - I am in the same boat wtih you about names at the moment, H has said he doesnt like my choices, although previously loved them, so now i feel like i am back to the drawing board!

Samjh - Your little walk sounds like a mission! but also lovely at the same time.

we had a names discussion this weekend and he seems to have gone off all the choices we decided on :( so now i feel like i am back to square 1!
