Following the birth of both Kapowski and Jonesy's little girls over the weekend (big congrats ladies!!) , it would seem we've shot to the top of the MD due date list Ninabeanie the great August baby race is on, lol!
Had a busy day yesterday as took O to a birthday party in Kent, had a fee twinges while I was there but don't think they're anything to write home about as I'm still here this morning! Baby is definitely low and in position though as I can feel the head putting pressure on my nether regions like late last time!
No major plans today other than housework and keeping O entertained.
Hope everyone is well x

Morning! Room for another one? :-)
Big congratulations for Kapowski and Jonesey!
Coco - your plans for today sound a lot like mine! Did O enjoy the birthday party yesterday?
AFM, for those of you who don't 'know' me, I'm Weather Girl and I'm a 29 year old SAHM. I've got one almost 2.5 year old little boy. I had a rather busy weekend with an afternoon catching up with friends on Saturday then a trip to see H's niece yesterday. I feel exhausted this morning! I've got so much to do around the house but just can't find the energy. Luckily we don't have any plans today so I'm just going to take my time doing things.

Wonderful news for kapowski & Jonesy!!! Massive congrats on your little girls :)
Coco - sounds like things are moving swiftly on :) maybe some housework on all fours will speed things up further?
WG - welcome to third tri! Take your time today , what gets done will get done & what doesn't can wait - esp after such a busy wkend.
AFM - have consultant meeting this morning to check if placenta still lying low & if it is then c -section will be scheduled. I'm ok if it is, I've been through enough this past year without adding a horrific labour into the mix (not guaranteed but obviously neither is a smooth labour!).
Keeping pretty rubbish between back pain & swelling in hands, knees & feet. Apparently even my stomach is swollen with fluid. They joys! Been signed off work 7 weeks now with carpel tunnel but my holidays have been agreed from today onwards as I hadn't used any this past year & didn't fancy trying to take 2 years worth next year.
Hi to all who follow & congrats again on the influx of bouncing baby girls :)

WG - lovely to see you here! Sounds like you've had a great (if a little tiring) weekend too! How old is your niece? O loved the birthday party yesterday and fell asleep in his dinner at my Mum and Dad's house....unheard of! Hope you have a nice chilled day today!
SaSaSi - hope your appointment goes well today. Sorry you're suffering with the carpal tunnel and fluid, but glad you've got your holidays now so you get respite from the questions etc of work.

Congratulations to Kapowski & Jonesy
Coco - cannot believe it is nearly our turn! sounds like a nice weekend, hope you have a good day today with O
WG - good to see you here, hope you manage to find time to relax a bit today sounds like a hectic weekend
SaSaSi - good luck with the consultants appointment, let us know how it goes.
AFM - I am exhausted, I don't think I have ever felt this tired or had such a little amount of energy. At work until 3 then I will go home and have a power nap before normal mummy duties commence when the girls get home about 5.30. has been lovley having them home from holiday this weekend, my poor parents look like they need another week's holiday to recover though
I totally have the rage too, I cannot even look at certain people and I feel like I want to punch them .......
Consultant on Wednesday for another scan and then discussion on my birth plan, I may at this point admit defeat and give up work a little earlier than planned, I was hoping to make it to 39 weeks but have been having serious period pains in the last few days and my bump is massive (I was on the high end of safe amounts of water last time) so I think it is all taking it's toll now. that said baby is good and kicking away

Morning all, congrats to Kapowski and Jonesy!
Coco - hope you are able to relax a bit today after a busy day yesterday. Its exciting that baby is so low down! You never know you might not have to wait that long before baby makes an appearance!
WG - welcome to third tri! Try and relax as much as possible - dont do too much!
SaSaSi - good luck for the consultant. Sorry you arent doing too well with your pains.
NB - bless your parents, but I bet the girls had an amazing time! I bet you are glad to have them home :) I hear you on the exhausted front, its so hard when everything is such an effort. You sound lke you might not have very long to wait until you meet your baby! Very exciting!
Kapowski - hello and hope you are doing ok! Glad to hear you are home - and so quickly too!
CO - hello!
AFM: woke up with sore hips and feeling exhausted so I popped round to my sisters to help her get the kids ready but didnt go out for the day with them as it would have been too much. So I'm going to have a chilled one today. Breastfeeding NCT class tonight and 34-week midwife appointment tomorrow afternoon. Made the mistake of weighing myself this morning - I've put on just under 3 stone :( no wonder my legs/back are struggling to cope with all this extra weight!

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies.
SaSaSi - hope your appointment goes well this morning. It's good that you're okay with having a C-section should you need to. Sorry to hear you've been feeling rubbish still, fingers crossed things improve a little soon.
Coco - our niece must be, gosh let me think, 23 now I think. She moved in with her boyfriend earlier in the year and we'd not managed a visit until now so it was nice to see their house and she did a lovely lunch for us. F was most taken with her boyfriend and didn't want to come home! I love that O fell asleep in his dinner, bless him! Sign of a good day I reckon.
NB - I hope the power nap later helps, I don't think this hot weather is helping one little bit. It might be worth finishing work a little earlier if you can, sounds like you need a bit of a rest for baby makes an appearance.
Kapowski - congratulations! You must be glad to be home now.
Browny - enjoy your chilled day today and hope the BFing class tonight is helpful. I haven't been able to bring myself to step on the scales for a while. I know I'll be going back on the diet afterwards though that's for sure!

28 weeks today...guess I'm in 3rd tri now! I have been hideously bad at keeping up with tri threads throughout 1st & 2nd but am determined to make a better effort during 3rd so hi everyone! [waves]
Coco - are you anticipating baby being slightly early? or will you hang on till august?
WG - hi due date twin! Joining 3rd tri like me I'm feeling way more knackered this last week again and i don't even have a toddler to look after so pacing yourself seems like a good plan
SaSaSi - any news? good luck if you've not been in yet. I've had mild carpal tunnel before and it was hideous so you have my sympathy x
NB - sounds like your body wants you to rest! Naps are awesome!
K - congrats again!!! She's gorgeous!!
Browny - rule number 1, do not weigh yourself! Sorry you're struggling though, feet up and chill out if you can!
AFM - Size of bump is not a problem I can cope with that, but I've got pubic bone pain since Saturday and it's cripping me! Trying to do all the right things like keep knees together but the thought of having this pain right till the end is hideous. Had a good weekend otherwise though, cot arrived on Saturday and we built the pram on Sunday. Next big job is to get the spare room sorted as it's so covered in clothes (H's I should add) that we can't use it at the moment which doesn't help when I'm struggling to sleep
HI to everyone that follows!

Maltesers - welcome to third tri! Loving the new recruits lol - we've had so many births recently the numbers are dwindling! Exciting stuff having your cot and pram delivered! Could do to get our pram out soon its packed in boxes in the garage! Its horrible being in pain, you have my sympathies! X
