Morning ladies! Well, we're one less today but so so chuffed for SG on the arrival of Violet - congratulations lovely!! Baby out vibes for Wispa and WW now...let's hope SGs BA is the beginning of a flurry :-)
All good here, belly is wriggling quite vigorously from the outside of an evening at the moment which is usually better viewing than whatever is on TV!! Bought a bargain crib bedding set yesterday (£7!), so only a few small bits left to buy otherwise we've mostly been at home this weekend as trying to get O used to the potty. No accidents yesterday so hopefully it's going in, but we're still a long way off nappy-less excursions
Hope you're all well xx

SG hugest congrats, sounds as though your birth story will be a good one !
Coco i hope you crack the potty training soon. Well done on that bargain hunting!
Today we're meeting some friends for brunch, c is off work today as he was at a festival yesterday- his last night out on the booze! We've got a couple of appts to look at some nurseries later today. Eeek! It was bright sunshine but it's just started to rain and thunder outside. Lovely!

Baby out vibes to WW and Wispa!
Coco - well done on finding some bargain bedding. Hope the potty training continues to go well.
Imp - enjoy your day with C and your brunch :)
AFM - no plans for today but it's sunny for the time being so may sit outside and enjoy it whilst it lasts - we're due to have thundery showers this afternoon then nice weather for H's days off tomorrow and Wednesday. Baby-wise other than slightly puffy feet and period-type pains everything is fine.
Hi to those who follow!

Coco - I know I love just sitting and watching my belly move it's so entertaining! Well done O on having no accidents!
Imp - hope you have a lovely brunch! You are being very organised looking at nurseries already! Hope you like them.
Huge congrats SG! Baby out vibes to those that need them!
AFM - had a productive-ish weekend. My H took apart our broken washing machine to find it's beyond repair so we've ordered a new one that's being delivered this week. He then chopped down some overgrown conifers in the garden and started sponging the walls in the nursery.
Today I'm going to ikea to get a day-bed/sofa bed as we have the inlaws staying on Friday night and I wanted a day-bed downstairs anyway so I can nap whilst baby sleeps during the day so going to kill two birds with one stone. Hoping it will fit in my car!

Missed you there Ixia. Hope the weather stays nice for you to have a nice relax in the garden. Apparently it's going to be quite a nice week weather-wise (other than today!) x

Brilliant news to wake up this morning! Hope SG is having lovely baby cuddles as we speak!
Coco - that is a bargain and a half! Where did you find that? Hope the potty training goes well. Sounds like O is doing well so far!
Imp - ooo nursery viewings! I need to sort those soon. I've seen a couple I like online but places seem to go quickly! Hope you have a lovely day with H. Thunderstorms have stopped here so hopefully you will back to sunshine soon.
Ixia - Do you have any plans for H being off? Period pains sound like they could be the start of things too. Have you had any other labour signs?
Browny - shame about the washing machine but yaya for new stuff. I love new stuff I just hate paying for it. Are you settling in ok? What are your plans for the nursery?
AFM - had a lovely weekend of eating with friends that came to stay. Managed a bit more packing on Sunday so I think we should be done by Thursday. Baby wise I have a right littel wriggler at the moment but he still goes so quiet when H tries to have a feel. 5 more weeks of work and I am soooo ready to finish!!

Imp - good luck with the viewings
Ixia - Period pains are a good sign everything is getting into position - exciting stuff!!
Browny - sounds like a productive weekend! where is the day bed from?
AFM - busy weekend and rubbish amounts of sleep, I think I managed about 5 hours total since Friday - I look like death. Seeing the consultant on Monday and I am going to see if he can recommend anything to help with pain/sleep or else I am goingto have to go on Mat Leave early. OH's birthday today so we are having a takeaway tonright and Molly insisted on a Pinata filled with his (her!) favourite sweets!

Ixia I hope those pains turn into something good. Enjoy the sunshine whilst it lasts.
Browny good luck at ikea. Don't overdo it with lifting anything, I hope you've got some help?
Jonesy not long now until move day, how exciting! :) Hopefully the next 5 weeks fly by for you too.
NB I I hope the consultant can offer you something. Not sleeping and being in so much pain is miserable. Hugs for you. I hope you enjoy the takeaway tonight, what will you have?

NB - you poor thing. It's horrid isn't it. I think I will be doign the same as you . Mmmm to takeaway - what kind?
AFM - feeling pretty ***** miserable still. Got a scan tomorrow so I'm hoping that will shake me out of feeling sorry for myself, and remind myself it's all worth it. Hi to all who follow!

Jonesy - good luck with the packing. I know how chaotic it is! But make sure you don't over do it. As we're team yellow we're going to paint the nursery a neutral brown/beige/mauve-type colour (haven't decided yet!) that will go with both blue and pink, then finish it off with wall stickers etc once they are here.
NB - sorry you are having a rough time of it. Hope the consultant can help. It's a hemnes bed from ikea - can't wait to put it up! Happy birthday to Mr NB!
Imp- glad brunch was good! Yes my mum went with me but we got staff to help lifting the boxes. They were great getting it to fit in the car!
CJ - sorry you are in pain. It's hard when you are suffering to remember why you are doing this but it will be worth it! Ha - yes I did buy more than I had planned - bed sheets, chopping boards, candles... All sat in my car still as it's throwing it down!
09/06/2014 at 13:29
CJ - really sorry you are going through it with the pain as well, its awful feeling this way as I think you imagine that pregnancy is going to be an enjoyable experience to some extent.
I think we will have chinese - thats his favourite and his choice tonight, might even let him watch what he wants on the TV once the kids are in bes
09/06/2014 at 13:45
CJ hugs for you. I hope the physio helps.xx

09/06/2014 at 13:55

NB Mmmm I'm jealous of your chinese
Browny - sounds like a successful shopping trip!
09/06/2014 at 16:04
Imp - brunch sounds awesome I am jealous.
CJ - yeah we get the keys on Friday and H is hoping to move everything Monday. We are away for the weekend but he wanted the keys asap and we have untl the 20th to vacate our flat so should be a-ok! Really sorry to hear your pains arent easing off. It's hard to feel that positive about everything when it sucks so much so dont feel bad! Fingers crossed physio will help
Browny - ah yeah but it's all too easy to buy more than u planned haha. I do it all the time!
NB - oh man I want chinese now too! Have to wait til payday. We don't get a fridge in the new house til next weds so we need something ordering in mon and tues. hmmm.
09/06/2014 at 18:19
Browny - annoying that your washing machine broke, but it looks like you had a successful shopping trip!
Jonesy - glad you had a lovely weekend. Tomorrow we have our couples workshop (my Lazy Daisy leader does a class for Dads-to-be at your home - H preferred to do it than to go to a large class with lots of other Dads), Wednesday is MW and hopefully lunch out as I have some money-off vouchers for a lovely cafe. No other labour signs, but I'm glad everything is getting ready.
NB - hope the consultant can help. Enjoy your takeaway!
Imp - a big fat breakfast sounds amazing.
CJ - sorry you are in so much pain. Really hope the physio helps.
