Sorry i didn't get back on over the weekend.
SG and Wispa I'm sending baby out vibes to you both!
Well I finished NCT on Saturday, I'm now supposedly ready to have a baby! Eeek! We've set up a little fb group for all the people in our class which is nice and I'm hoping to meet up with a couple of girls pre babies arriving.
Last week of work now, only 3 days too!

Hi All - busy weekend with friends over - all ok here except freaking out that I only have 5 weeks left at work and not ready to leave yet!
IMP - enjoy the last week of work :)

SG and Wispa, lots of baby out vibes to you both!
Imp, eeek to being ready to have a baby!! It's lovely that you've set up a FB group with your other NCT parents, I hope you get your meet up and that they turn into good friends. Enjoy your last three days of work, it's the final countdown!
AFM, touch wood but I'm starting to feel so much better. Back at the docs tomorrow to see the mw but the shakiness has gone and I managed quite a long walk at the weekend without feeling faint at all. Hopefully the iron has done it's stuff.
One month exactly until my due date...eeeeek!!!

Echoing the baby out vibes to Wisps and SG. Hope you don't have to wait too long!
Imp, hope you enjoy the last week of work. I have 3 weeks left, and start NCT in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to meeting other mums to be.
Sue, sounds like a lovely weekend :-)
Figaro, so glad you're feeling better xx
I was up early taking Dad to a hospital appointment and have to go in myself later for my first growth scan and then a consultant appointment after that. Bit nervous since it's the start of the decision process regarding if I'll be allowed to labour naturally. I know technically I can do what I want, but I would like it to be safe so hoping and praying for a good outcome this morning. If not, I have a further scan in 4 weeks. Will update later xx

Imp - the finish work countdown is well and truly on for you! It'll be lovely to be able to meet up with some of the people from your NCT class :)
Sue - hope you had a lovely weekend with your friends.
Fig - glad you are feeling a lot better, I hope it continues for you and that the iron has done it's job.
AFM - no plans for today, currently just looking at the M&S website as I was given a voucher from my colleagues. I've no idea what to spend it on, but I've been told it's for me and not baby! Hoping to get a call this week that the pram has arrived in store so we can collect it. Nothing to report bump-wise, but it doesn't appear that I need to continue with the iron tablets thankfully.

Sorry I missed you BF - really hope the appointment goes well for you.

Imp, yay for being ready for the baby, lol. I'm glad you've got your FB group with the nct lot, I love my girlies they've been such a huge support network. Big yay for the last week of work, hope it goes quickly.
Sue, sounds like a nice weekend. You never know, in 5 weeks you may be very ready to finish!
Fig, I'm really glad you're feeling better, that's great news. Final countdown now with a month to go. I would say it'll fly, but the last couple of weeks have been a bit snail-like for me!
Bf, good luck at the scan and consultant appt. does it all relate to the fibroid issue? I hope everything goes well, and you get a full range of options for labour.
Afm, thanks for all the baby out vibes. Attila keeps teasing, I get cramps and things feel like they might be happening, then they just don't. I went into labour with J 5 days late according to hospital dates, but bang on time according to mine. Well my dates for Attila are today, so come on little one! I've not got much planned for today, we're supposed to be having the joiner round to finish the babyproofing, but he's cancelled on us 3 times now so I'll sort of believe it when I see it! Once it's sorted we can move J upstairs though, so it'll be good to have it done.
Baby out vibes for Wispa too (though me first!!!) x

Imp - Enjoy your last week! We set up an NCT Facebook group aswell and have met up a few times since our classes finished which has been nice.
Sue - enjoy your last month or so at work, I'm sure you will have everything sorted for when you leave.
Fig - Happy 1 month to go day, glad you are feeling better!
BF - Hope everything goes well today for you.
Ixia - Hope you find something nice to treat yourself too!
SG - Fingers crossed today is the day! I reckon by Friday at the latest you will have your little one!
Baby out vibes for Wispa!
AFM - Last 3 days at work then I start my maternity leave! It has come around so very quickly!
Still feeling a bit sore from the ECV on Friday and worrying a little every time baby does some big movements that they are trying to turn back! Though am trying to think that there isn't really anything I can do, if they are going to turn they are going to turn! Have noticed that now baby is head down I am needing to pee a lot more! Also the bottom of my bump is getting a bit sore. Keep hoping that these are all pre labour signs but I am probably looking in to it far too much!

Echoing all the baby out vibes - cannot wait to see some more BA's
Imp - enjoy your last few days at work.
Sue - I am feelinga bit like that about work, I have 8 weeks left but my maternity cover starts tomorrow
Figaro - Glad you feel better, fingers crossed for the iron working its magic!
BF- good luck with your scan, my first one was at 28 weels and everything was spot on size wise ,other than that the consultant wont make any further deicions until the next ones. I am booked in at 32 and 36 weeks and we will go from there on making induction/c-section decisions informed on those scans.
Ixia - Ohhh I would be treating myself to something from the M&S Loungewear section to be wearing once baby has arrived when you are chilling out at home. love some of their stuff
SG - Loads of baby out vibes heading your way
Vix - You have given me hope about the ECV as I may need one of those and I was pleased yours went as smoothly as possible. I keep hearing horror stories!! fingers crossed baby stays in position until delivery now
AFM - Went back to the doctor on friday regarding my hips/pelvis and he has confirmed refereal is about 8 weeks, he is going to push for me as is the midwife but have been told not to hold my breath! was a bit upset but have now been refered through work too for Physio so that should hopefuly happen in the next 14 days - much better! weekend was lovely, girls came home from a few days away with SIL's at the seaside, was far too quiet with them gone. finished my baby shopping, everything is chucked in my case for the hospital, just need to sort it out a bit better but thought I would put all the essentials in incase OH needed to find things in a hurry.
My maternity cover arrived this morning from Sydney so hand over startes in ernest tomorrow morning although we have weeks together it is quite a specilist rols so a lot for her to take on board.

Nina - Fingers crossed you get your hip/pelvis pain sorted soon! The ECV was by no means pleasant but was definitely worth doing for the end result!
02/06/2014 at 12:47
Vix - thats what I am thinking, have discussed with consultant already and I a C-Section is really high risk for me due to blood clotting issues and they would probably conduct until GA which I really want to avoid. Baby is curretnly lying across my body, very chilled out. Molly was head down and ready to go from day one! [laugh I keep joking that it must be a boy who is chilled out like his dad!!
02/06/2014 at 13:05
Nina - I keep saying that baby must be a boy as it is a pain in the ass like their dad :P I was very undecided about it all but decided that I really want to avoid a C-section if I can and that however much the ECV hurt it would be less than the C-section! Still time for baby to turn for you too! Mine didn't go breech until 31 weeks!
02/06/2014 at 13:37
they like to keep us guessing these babies!

Hi, quickly nipping back on with the BEST news!!
Sonographer couldn't find the fibroids. Now, whereas I doubt very much they've completely gone, the important thing is the cervix is completely clear, baby is head down, weighs 1.3kg and is growing nicely. I then saw the consultant who was very very nice, gave me some sleeping tablets since I'm averaging 3 hrs a night and he says I mustn't go into labour that tired, and then he said that as long as my 34 week scan is also good, he will support me in low intervention midwife led birth, and home birth if I still want it. So all very good, I'm delighted, and have a lot to think about now since all my options will probably be open again :-)
This entire pregnancy seems to have been characterised by worry and stress when underneath things have been fine throughout. So happy, so sorry for gushing a little!!
Niña, hope your little one has a wriggle and moves soon :-)
Vix, sorry to hear you're still a bit sore. Fx baby stays in position now.
Spikey and Ixia, thanks for the good wishes x
Housework now before whooping cough jab this afternoon. Busy busy.....

Great news Barefoot!!!! Great to get a really positive update like that!! Enjoy :)
02/06/2014 at 15:18
BF - great outcome!! what is causing such a lack of sleep?
02/06/2014 at 16:48
Thanks ladies :-)
Nina, not sure re the sleep, I haven't slept through the night since December. Part of it may be needing to wee every couple of hours, part may be due to my nocturnal cat. I also find it hard to get comfy. No definite cause. When I don't have anything to be up for in the mornings, I often drift back to sleep and that's fine, but I need to be up for 5am for work a lot of the time, so never really get enough. I have mentioned it to the mw numerous times and she just laughs, saying it's good practise for when baby gets here. Was at my wits end on Thursday, and actually came home 6hrs into a 12hr shift due to exhaustion. Thank goodness the consultant is taking me a bit more seriously. I don't really want tablets, but he said it's a low dose and I only intend to take one when insomnia gets too much, certainly not every day. He actually said I shouldn't risk going into labour this tired, since I'll tire too fast and will be less likely to get my natural birth. We'll see how it goes for the next couple of weeks anyway. I'm just happy someone is listening to me about it :-)

Barefoot - so pleased to read your news!
Nina - hope you manage to get your referral quicker than 8 weeks. It's great that your work can get you physio so much quicker. On your recommendation I've had a closer look at the M&S loungewear and it does look very comfortable!
