Morning everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend. Was lovely and sunny down here. Hoping for a couple of birth announcements this week. no pressure girls .
I had a nice weekend. H took S swimming sat morning so I had a few hours to myself, then baby shower in the afternoon Which was great. The very clever Nala made a fab nappy cake and everyone made gorgeous cakes. I think I only had 3 which was restrained for me. Yesterday I took S out to the local country park in the morning then gave my pony a bit of pampering in the sunshine in the afternoon.
Got the diabetes Mw this morning to get my diet plan. Grateful it's only the last month of pregnancy at least. Sat night I had intermittent pains for a couple of hours that I really thought were the real thing but went by the morning. Anyone else sweltering with those mattress protector things on? I'm literally dripping when I wake up!
Have a good day everyone

WH hope all goes ok for you at your apt xx
hope you all had good weekends. Not much doing my end, terrible nights sleep between me and C needing a wee through the night. Gonna have to crack the habit with C but that's a whole other thread!! still no news on dates for my growth scan. Am hoping the sickness doesn't return as I've been feeling rough after food. I'm at the stage where in full before I ve eaten enough, I literally can't fit it in so have resorted to salads and bowls of bran flakes a few times a day lol.
Hope those that follow are feeling ok xx

Glad you enjoyed your baby shower WH, hope you got lots of nice things.
Im having a child free day today at home with h but it isnt a relaxing day, theres so much stuf to sort out , hoping to wash all the baby clothes today as well .
Gd wise im not going to bad, i just had a bacon sandwich with 2 slices of white bread and it only gave me a reading of 6.9, so not to bad.
Hope everybody is well and sending baby out vibes to those who need them. xx

WH - Glad to hear that you had fun at your baby shower. 3 cakes is very restrained! Saw the nappy tower on the weekend 3rd tri thread and it looked fab! Hope that all goes well with MW at your appointment this morning. like you say, only a month or so left
Munchkin - Sorry to hear that your nausea has returned. I am also finding it difficult to eat loads at the moment without feeling queasy. Hope that you get some better sleep tonight and receive some news about your date scan soon
MrsC - Enjoy your child free day! Hope that it's productive for you
AFM - Had great fun at the wedding yesterday and am proud to report that I kept my heels on for the entire party! Had loads of people rubbing the bump and guessing the sex - general consensus from everyone was a boy so we will see! Ate loads and as a result felt heavy all night and ended up sleeping really badly. This coupled with an early start to drop my parents at the airport has made me very very tired. Bath and early night are the plans for later. I think baby enjoyed all the sugar from yesterday as he/she has not stopped wriggling about.
Hope that you all have a good day x

Morning Ladies - may I join you?
I don't get chance to post everyday but need to admit to myself I'm in the home straight now - particularly when I see Munchkin and MrsC posting as there are only days between us all.
WH - Glad you had a good weekend. It must be a good strange feeling to be this far along given your early arrival last time!
Munchkin - I can 't wait not to have to get up during the night for a wee! Even though that will be replaced by a demanding little baby! Doesn't help that my H automatically sighs as I try and get up, don't think he realises he's doing it and he's now started to automatically help me out by pushing me!
Mrs Clarke - Even if you have stuff to do at least you know that I isn't going to follow you round undoing all the things you do!
AFM - H gave me his cold at the end of last week so not impressed! Managed to pick up a few more bits over the weekend so only a couple of bits left to get so feeling a bit more organised now. Also had my first batch of pink baby clothes sold on ebay last night so will be posting those tomorrow - just got to find the motivation to list some more now! Must dash now as sat at my desk and meant to be working!
Hi to those that follow. xx

WH....sounds like a lovely weekend, glad the pains came to nothing and hope the midwife appointment goes well! Seems to be a lot of ladies with GD here at the mo so atleast you have each other to get through it!
Munchkin....hope you get a better nights sleep tonight, know how you feel with the food problems, still hungry but no space for food and baby! Sounds like little and often is the way!
MrsC.. enjoy your child free day, I'm looking forward to one of those in a couple weeks! Mmm bacon sandwich sounds yummy Too!!
Afm...did a final order of baby things this weekend, got a travel cot, nappies and crib sheets so think that's the essentials done for now! Feeling huge and very tired but sleeping badly which is quite unusual for me so hope it doesn't last. Consultant and midwife appointment on Fri to book my section so looking forward to that and only two weeks left till maternity leave starts, so ready for it but lots of paperwork needs doing still and would like to get that done before then!
Hope everyone had a lovely sunny weekend and are all feeling good!! :-)

Munchkin- is C potty trained at night too? S is showing no sign of being dry at night at 4! We occasionally try at his request but never works. Until his nappy is dry in the morning I won't bother too much.
MrsC- have a productive day. Glad you're managing ok sugar wise. I rarely eat white carbs anyway but being veggie might make things a but harder!
Ferbs- that is very impressive! Were your ankles not massive afterwards? Hope you get a rest later.
MrsH- sounds like you're erring organised. Think we're about there now. Boo to the cold. I have one too, rubbish when you can't take anything.

ferbs...glad you had a good time at the wedding, well done keeping the heels on!! Sounds like a busy weekend so definitely try to get that early night tonight!
Mrs H...boo to your cold, hope it doesn't hang around long! Glad your feeling organised, I love ticking things off a list, such a good feeling! Well done selling on ebay, I always say I will but get lazy and just end up taking things to the charity shop instead!

Morning all! Got a growth scan tomorrow, nervous of what decision they will make :( bump feels very tight and heavy, and pretty sure I have a head in my down belows, the spd is gruelling!!!
Me and hubs are fed up of our parents, we've said first 3-4 weeks we're not doing all the visiting etc. his folks are refusing to visit at all unless hubby picks them up, 4 trips there back etc, fuel, tunnel costs etc and about 3-4 hours driving. Train, taxi, lifts with other people are all met with a no for various silly reasons. He's. agreed to get them once but he just knows we'll get hysterical phone calls from his mum especially that she isint seeing him which will put so much stress on us, so we've agreed to just not answer our house phone/mobiles if that happens.
My mum has said she might come to the uk in July, not sure how long for etc. I'm not holding my breath, and am not expecting much from her or my dad, we'll see!
Workinghard I've not starter with the mattress thingie yet have heard people say it gets hot though! Your weekend sounds lovely :)))
Have fun washing all the clothes mrsclarke :))
Hope you get the scan date through soon munchkin :)
Mrsh2009 hope thar cold has disappeared, that bug is awful!!
Libby exciting!!! Very organised :)))
Ferbs what a lovely time ! Do you reckon boy too?

How's my luck...they have called me in for a scan this arvo lol xx
08/04/2013 at 14:03
G B...that's ridiculous, I'm not going anywhere for anyone in the first few weeks, they should be coming to visit you and baby when your ready and sorting there own travel out themselves! Don't let them stress you out, hope your parents manage to visit and be there for you (if you want them to that is?) Hope tomorrows scan brings good news and baby gets to stay put a long while longer, lots of vibes>>>>>>
munchkin...good luck with today's scan, hope you get some answers and everything is as it should be!
I just noticed a muddy patch on the hallway skirting and thought I'd quickly clean it off but then I couldn't stop and have just scrubbed most of the skirting in the flat! Exhausted now!!

Mrs H - welcome to 3rd tri! Hope that your cold goes away soon
Libby - sounds like you had a productive weekend. 2 weeks will hopefully fly by for you
WH - my ankles are surprisingly OK. Am in comfy flats today though
GB - your in laws just get better and better don't they?! Sounds like you and your H have a good solid bond though which is the most important thing for you both and the baby. I keep changing my mind between girl and boy each week so who knows!
Munchkin - that was quick! Good luck, hope all is ok
