Hoping to see Bexy's BA today at some point :-)
Supposed to be my last week of work today but I am so sore and tired that when my H came in from work last night he said there was no way I should be going in so I've phoned in sick for today and will most likely not go back for my final 2 shifts on Thursday and Friday. I've been getting really rubbish night's sleep as either my hips seize up or I get unbearable pain at the tops of my legs/pubic area - not sure if the 2nd pain is maybe mild SPD? Hoping for a relaxing day today, my H is nightshift the next 2 nights so at least not working today will make doing the sprogs bath time etc slightly easier!
Hope everyone else is well

Another one waiting to see a BA from Bexy. Hope that all is going well for her.
Sounds like you have made the right decision about work. What you are describing could be spd, maybe worth speaking to your midwife? I have even suffering from achey hips at night preventing me from sleeping and my friend who is an osteopath said to get my H to knead really hard into my hips and lower bottom area before bed. The pain in him doing so is excruciating but it seems to work.
AFM, had a lovely day with my family in sun yesterday. Still getting some mild contractions but irregular and bearable. This is one stubborn baby! Midwife seems to think that it will make an appearance this week, but when?!?! In the meantime, am going to go for a swim this morning then have waxing later and will spend the rest of the day relaxing in the sun. Am hoping some exercise will move things along a bit!
Have a good day all x

Thanks ferbs, will mention it next time I see her, don't see them until 36 weeks though
Really hope your contractions become more regular soon. Are you supposed to have sun all week? Should be nice up here fingers crossed, makes my life much easier when I can just chuck the kids in the garden and sit and watch them - except when J tries to do something dangerous like climb into his water table so I'm up and down stopping him lol

Yes it's meant to be lovely here all week. Good thing too as waiting is bad enough but at least the sun is keeping my spirits up and I can relax in the garden. You always need to keep one eye on kids don't you?! They are fearless!

Ally - I get that pain too, in my pubic area when I get up, or when I try to turn over in bed mainly. I'm going to ask the MW about it tomorrow so wil report back!! Hope you get some rest today and feel a bit better.
Ferbs - glad you had a lovely weekend. Baby out vibes for you, and hope you have lovely day in the sun!
RKB - congrats on little (or big!) William! Cant believe such a small person with a neat bump was hding a 10lb-er!
AFM - had quite a nice weekend, Bean was very wriggly for a change which was nice, will probably therefore go to sleep today! Got the last bits for my hospital bag so will be washing and packing stuff this week. Went to visit the MIL and she presented me with a gift of 2 boxes of disposable maternity briefs - lovely!

Hi RKB, hope you and William are doing well
Morning Rusty, you can't have long to go til your section :-)
PC - what a lovely gift from the mil lol. I need to start thinking about my bag too. Managed to get most of the baby clothes washed yesterday while it was sunny, don't think I have anything to buy so really should just get on with the packing. Let me know what the mw says about the pain please, it's always overnight I get it worse, or if I've been sitting for ages then stand up

Ally sounds awful, think you've made the right decision. Hope you manage to get some rest
Ferbs good luck! Hope the exercise gets baby moving!
RKB hope you and William are well, how's your Irish few days at home gone?
Porkchop lovely present there!
Afm I've seen gp this morning she's happy to sign me off work till I start annual leave/mat leave in 3 and half weeks but I've decided I'd rather go back to work and see how it goes. The pain is worst during sleeping in one position and driving. But with only 11 12/13 hr shifts to go I'm hoping to get through them. Going to phone work in a little while and see if I can have slightly less sick patients that would help me a little. Baby scared me yesterday - had no movement all afternoon. In the evening I did all the things to him to move - nothing. Just when H went to get my notes from our study to phone midwife baby had a little party! Naughty little monkey!
Baby out vibes to all that need them!

DF - I had that one day last week with the movment and was all ready to phone the MW! Since then its been wiggling loads! Oh the worry these babies give us......

Fab news about Rusty! Hope to also see Bexy's BA soon x
RKB - hope that you are enjoying having W at home. Another one who can't quite believe how you stored such a big baby in your neat bump!
PC - what a lovely gift from your MIL!!!
DF - hope that you get through your last few shifts ok. Make sure to look after yourself. I have been up to the hospital twice when I had no movements and the Midwives are so nice about it. Both times as I have got there, baby has started to wriggle again. Little troublemakers I tell you!

With so many 3rd tri graduates, I thought that we probably need to update the leader board which is now as follows:-
1 - Bexybexy (which should be very soon!)
2 - Babybubba2 (don't know if she still comes on here)
3 - Me....eeekkkk!!
4 - Mr Clarke
5 - MrsH2009

Wasnt Bexy being induced yesterday? Hope all is ok!

Ally - sorry you are suffering! I too suffer with hips and tops of legs particularly at night. Going to be a long time before we get a complete night's sleep again isn't!! he he he!
Ferbs - glad you are managing to relax - enjoy it whilst you can! You have also slightly freaked me out by putting up the leader board!!! Perhaps I need to sort out a PP!
RKB - Hope all is going well with the LO.
Rusty - 'just off out' that's one way to describe a c section!!! Hope you are doing ok and having lots of cuddles.
Porkchop - bless your MIL!! To be honest I just stocked up on cheap supermarket big pants - can't beat them and no guilt about binning them if need be!
Duckford - I had a day recently where 'sprout' went quiet (never had any worries with this one til then or my daughter) just as we were thinking about phoning someone he started adn I don't think he has stopped since!!!
AFM - well officially knackered!! Had a great day out on Saturday with M, my H, my parents and some friends, knew it was going to be last 'proper day out' with M so made the most of it but been suffering ever since. Still at work but finish on Wednesday - can't wait!!! Just then need a weekish to blitz the house and then this LO can make an appearance!
