Morning all, hope everyone is well. Ally, hope you manage to see someone today if you are still concerned.
AFM, I worked out yesterday that there are only 12 more working days for me now - woohoo! Will doubtless end up doing some supply between now and the end though, but it's all extra cash so can't complain. Baby is nice and wriggly, looking forward to meeting her (or him!) now, not long to go!

Morning Margot. 12 days left is great, will fly in for you hopefully
I'm still not feeling right so going to phone the mw when they start at 8. My H has taken the day off work to look after the kids cos I'm still in loads of pain too
Did eventually manage to get my bags packed but only took 5 minutes so thinking I've probably forgotten stuff lol
Hope everyone else is well

Ally - sorry your not feeling better, best to be on the safe side though and give the MW a call. Hope they can helpa nd set your mind at rest.
AFM - not much to report. More antenatal day, should be interesting seeing as my H freaked out at the normal birth session last week and this week is about things that can go wrong! Will report back tomorrow!

Margot - Yay to 12 days left at work, I have 9 left but I'm still not too sure how I feel about finishing.
Ally - Hope you're feeling better soon
PC - Hope this weeks antenatal is better for your H than last weeks!
Twink - Sorry to hear your weekend didn't go to plan.
AFM - Had a great weekend with some of my friends from uni coming to see me, started the baby clothes washing yesterday. Was planning to start packing my hospital bag but I didn't get around to that. Hopefully next weekend or else I fear I'll be doing it when I go into labour! he he! Aquanatal tonight which I always look forward to and a short week at work as I'm off on Friday!
Have a good day!

M - not too long left, what does that take you too, 37 weeks?
Ally - hope you're ok and the mw sorts you out.
PC - sounds like the classes are a good thing for your H, he can get all his freaking out the way!
Twink - oh such a shame you're weekend turned out so different to your plans. Could you go away another weekend maybe?
TT - do pack your bag this week! Enjoy aquanatal
AFM - awful night, A kept waking from 3am, nothing was wrong with him, just realised he had no socks on or couldn't find a teddy. He eventually woke shouting 'downstairs Mama' at 6.50, so I gave in and went down stairs, halfway through the first episode of Fireman Sam I realised it was in fact 5.50, so I turned the tv off, put up with 10 minutes of crying and we managed to get another 2.5 hours sleep on the sofa. He seems in a much better mood now, and I'm grateful of the extra sleep although not of the crooked neck from sleeping on the sofa!
Today apart from going to a local messy play group I NEED to tidy and clean the house.
I have a fried randomly e-mailing me potential names, it's a very random list and I'm bored of explaining to her why I don't like or can't use various names. I've just said to her I'm done thinking of names, just going to hope she's born with a name tag. Hope she gets my not-so-subtle hint and quits mailing me names!

Hi Margot, I've only got 12 days left too!! (And I won't be doing any extra!)
Ally, hope you feel better soon and can get through to a midwife
PC, hope your session isn't too scary today!
Twink, so sorry your weekend wasn't the one you planned. Sounds like you made good use of the time though!
TT, sounds like a brilliant weekend. Do you finish work soon? I'm not getting very far with my hospital bag either. Determined to finish it before 37 weeks though
BG, oh goodness, that sounds like a tough night! Glad you managed that extra nap! Sounds like your friend's a bit bored - sweet she's trying to help though!
AFM - had NCT all weekend which was much better than the mid-week session. Not sure how likely we are to meet up again soon - bit difficult to bond when it's only one weekend! Today I'm off work and not really got plans - going to visit my grandma now and meet my mum for coffee, then maybe tidy the house a bit this afternoon.
Have a good day everyone!

Margot not long now bet you cant wait to be off I know i cant
Ally Hope you get through to the MW *hugs*
PC look forward to hearing how it has gone
Twink sorry to hear about the kittens :(
TT Have fun at aquanatal!
BG my friend did that the baby wasnt named until she arrived and then it was a name none of us had thought of!
AFM well Im off too meet my friend who is 11 or 12 weeks pregnant in a little while, this is her fourth baby. A very old friend has been in contact after she fell out with me and hubby at the start of our relationship which is nice too Ive missed her. Got hubby a happy fathers day from your bump card and a pack of first size nappies, he joked saying his incontinence is not that bad, Id be impressed if he could get his toe into one of the nappies let alone a bum cheek. Im back to work tomorrow after my lovely week off (boo!) Ive got 8 weeks before I leave but two of those are holiday weeks so technically six weeks left in work, depressing in comparison to margots 12 days lol. Hi to all who follow xxx

PW - it is sweet of her really, I was probably a bit short with her in my reply after v.little sleep!
Did you all swap numbers/e-mail addresses? Of so, take the initiative and arrange something. They'll probably be grateful someone has!
Luna - have fun with your friend, sound like she could be useful with her wealth of experience!
17/06/2013 at 18:42
Goodness, it's been quiet on the thread today!
Luna, hope you had a good week off. six weeks will fly by!
Bg, i would have been annoyed too. too much pressure! Yup, we've swapped details so will force the issue in a few days if nobody else does!

We seem to finally be restoring something of a bedtime routine for George which means getting my evenings back (well, for 5 weeks until baby comes lol!).
Margot hurrah for 12 more days of work and a wriggly baby :)
Ally how are you feeling now? Did you get to see someone?
Porkchop, hope your day was good and your H didn't get too freaked out!
twink - boo for the ruined weekend, but yay for getting so much done.
twinkletoes your weekend sounds lovely. Rubbish weather for getting washing done, although it's meant to dry up later on this week I think. I haven't packed my hospital bag yet either.
BG glad you got a bit more kip, even with the sore neck! Random re: the emailing of names, is she just trying to feel involved / act interested do you think?
PW hope you had a nice day off?
Luna hope the next six weeks go quickly for you.
AFM - tomorrow is my last day at work and it can't come soon enough. I'm shattered, and spending a whole day sitting at a desk is SO uncomfortable!
Almost there with sorting stuff now, still need to pack hospital bag, buy nappies, get a cheap nightie, build cot and get car seat out of loft, but with 5 weeks to due date and finishing work tomorrow I'll be glad of a few things left to do. G will be at pre school two mornings and one full day for a few more weeks yet so I'll have the chance for a little rest too with any luck.

35 weeks tomorrow for me, which means if I go the c-section route I have only 4 weeks left .... that does make the ELCS very appealing I have to say. Back to the hospital today for me as I had an appt with cardio for an ECG and some kind of heart scan thing. They cant' see anything wrong which seems good to me because at least that way hopefully I will be back to normal after giving birth.
Have bought everything now, have a hospital bag and have started putting stuff in it. Need to wash the baby clothes and am going to try and get that done this week. Finally finished Zoe's room so all her stuff is now in there rather than spread between her and Noodles' rooms. Just now need to turn Noodles' room from a dumping ground to a bedroom.
Am seeing the midwife again tomorrow and think I am going to ask for a bit of clarification on her "this isn't a small baby is it" comment as that is starting to freak me out a little bit.
