Back killing. Hips aching - radiating down thighs. So fed up. (i'm not normally like this, i promise). Thought baby might have turned (from back-to-back) but once he started moving this morning, i can confirm he hasn't. Rubbish. Starting to worry about massive baby / tearing again - particularly if he comes out wrong way round and if he turns in labour, well then worrying it will be really long agnosing labour. Grumble grumble grumble.

Morning HF. Sorry to hear that you're feeling fed up today :-( When are you next seeing your midwife, can you mention your concerns to her? How do you know that he's back to back, can you feel his arms and legs at the front?
No Custard this morning....??
Washing machine arrived yesterday... and then my boiler broke! Aaaaargh! Aside from sorting that out I'm meeting a friend for lunch and then seeing the midwife this afternoon.

I know Mrs B! Nearly didn't get the washing machine either, had to chase the shop all afternoon. So much for chilling out and relaxing. Hope you have a great day and that baby B starts to make an appearance soon x
Yaaaay for new washing machine. Enjoy washing all the babies clothes (again! LOL)
Seeing midwife on monday morning! He has been back-to-back for ages (since going head down at approx 32weeks) can feel feet at front - around my tummy button area - he likes stretching them out - ouch - and hands lower down - that constantly poke at me and his spine is up against mine - hence backache. Midwife confirms at every appointment he hasn't shifted (she has a particularly hopeless student who can never work out which bit is what during a feel of tummy - so midwife spends ages explaining everything to her - and me). SHe said last time "it feels like a lot of baby curled up up in there". Last baby was 9lb10 and gave me a 3c tear - hence starting to worry!

What colour is your Moby Mrs Bass? I have a bright red one. Suble, LOL!! Enjoy NCT coffee!
Yeah, the pool is all setup ...... but it takes ages to fill it and .... I have a toddler who LOVES baths/swimming etc and will probably want to leap in!

Horsefan, sorry to hear you're feeling rubbish. I'm sure pootle is back to back too! Hope baby does a swift turn around for you x
Penny, good news about the washing machine but bad news for the boiler, at least it's not snowing and these things are out of the way before baby is here!
Mrs Bass, enjoy your NCT meet up and lazy day.
NLH, sorry you're feeling crap, hope today goes quickly for you.
Gemini, hope thing get moving for you lovely x
Afm, H can't eat anything today ahead of a procedure tomorrow so I'm heading out to meet my mum for lunch, then have my best mate staying over tonight which will be lovely to see her x

Baby out vibes to all that need it!
my Hypnobirthing lady told me about some oil she uses but you cannot use it until after 38 weeks legally as it induces labour? cant think what its called she said she recommends that ladies that are over due put a few drops on piece of tissue and lay it accross their chests and inhaling the scent can indue labour! let me go see what its called!

Clary Sage! apparently
19/12/2013 at 11:06
HF- I wanted the red one but it was out of stock, I went for navy in the end. I think ive mastered tieing it, it's just putting a baby in now that concerns me!! Oh pants, would a bath help?
NLH- did ur boss agree to more working from home and half days? Hope ur feeling less crappy soon!
Gemini- 2days, how ruddy exciting!!
MrsP- what procedure are you having tomorrow, im sure you've said ive just totally forgotten!
We have bothe had loads of texts and calls the last couple of days "any news?" Im telling ppl im being induced boxing day so uopefully that will keep them quiet for a week!

Oh HF I hope that this baby doesn't give you as much trouble on its way out. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. From what I hear, walking is a good way to get labour going, so maybe you won't need to do dinner for the MIL after all....!
NLH I've heard mixed things about clary sage, apparently you have to be really careful with it, even if you're overdue. But I would expect its probably safe if used with professional advice like with your hypnobirthing lady. Hope you feel a bit better soon.
Gemini it sucks that your baby wants to stay put but at least induction is just around the corner. Sending you LOTS of natural baby out vibes for before then.
Mrs Bass aren't the texts annoying?? I keep saying, 'thank you for asking, but still no change', with a winky smiley on the end so that they know I'm not being arsey. I think that my family think that i'll just forget to mention it!
Mrs P I hope you're ok and that your H is too. I've been thinking about you both a lot xxx
19/12/2013 at 11:55
Penny, we purposely only told a few ppl the due date in an attempt to avoid the text but people are obviously thinking 'it must be here by now'!!
H's mum called y.day to ask if baby had arrived! He told her she'd be one of the first to know if it had. She just said 'well you might have been too busy to call' !!! Hilarious!
19/12/2013 at 11:59
I think the texts have started to dwindle off now that some people knowbim being induced! They started to get on my nerves, as much as I know people onky cared about me..it was annoying and made me more stressed!

Not been on much recently, work is still busy. When is the Christmas wind down going to happen!!
No time for personals but baby out vibes to those who need them :)
19/12/2013 at 12:19
I'm in such a grump. I really want this baby out before Christmas. I'm getting so many messages and phonecalls I'm one more off telling them to F off! I'm beyond grumpy and my grump is getting worse knowing I'm in an irrational grump! My MW won't do anything until Monday when I'm 40+6 which is the 23rd so I don't know if I want anything then. I really hope she come soon or I'll cancel Christmas and spend the day in my pjs eating frosties and pop tarts in bed! I don't know how people go overdue! Gemini and Mrsbass deserve medals!
I would be better if I had a deadline for induction but as I didn't have my normal midwife at last appointment I didn't get one.
I had a lot of pain and aches last night and thought something might have been happening but nope!
I did warn you I was in a grump!!! Sorry!!

Big hugs Custard. You know where I am if you need me. Told you, no dtd ever again in March! Ha xx
