I'm starting my last ever 1st tri thread as I'm moving up to 2nd tri tomorrow. I feel a bit sad about it, in a weird way, but I won't miss all the stress and worry about the first stage of pregnancy, nor the knicker watching. Sorry I didn't come back to the thread yesterday, but I will go and do personals and posted them here in a sec. Currently at work early as H had to drop me off so I'm having a bit of chill time before it all gets hectic.

Rio - I hope you're ok, the fainting really doesn't sound good. Keep some snack with you just to keep your energy levels up, it's amazing/scary how quickly they fall in pregnancy.
Mac Girl - Hormones are evil! I hope the nausea doesn't put you off your breakfast this morning.
CC - I hope the sickness and indigestion has settled down.
JJ - That's rubbish about feeling really nauseous still, I hope your booking in and bloods go well today.
DD - It still hasn't fully sunk in for me still! That's rubbish that they were disorganised for your booking in yesterday, at least it's done now.

Ds - Yay to going to second tri! I know what you mean about feeling sad but happy :) Hopefully see you there soon!
Afm not much to report...feeling okayish this morning..just tired even though I slept really well lol!
Hope everyone else is okay!

Hello, sorry I've been AWOL again.
DS - yay for moving onto the 2nd tri!
CC - glad to hear your feeling 'okayish' and yay to the sleep. This growing a baby is exhausting work!
AFM - I had booking appt at the weekend and now have my scan date for the 24th. So just waiting for then really. The sickness has really died down, so hopefully I'll be able to come say hello a bit more often but I've had a couple of gallstone attacks in the last few days which I was warned they would get worse during the pregnancy but they won't look into referring me until baby is born. So I'm just hoping they calm down again soon.

DS - hope you enjoyed your chill out this morning. Hooray for 2nd tri, should see you there on a few weeks!
CC - great to hear you're feeling better today.
S - I had gallstones during my last pregnancy, I really sympathise as it was the worst thing ever, I had my gall bladder removed when O was 3 months old. Have you worked out what your triggers are?
Not much to report with me, just counting down to my scan . Nausea and tiredness have been nowhere near as bad this pregnancy, my boobs are still quite sore though - which is reassuring in a way! The small one is napping so I'm off to have some lunch in peace!

DS-congrats on graduating to 2nd tri!
CC-glad you slept well
Sapphire-sorry to hear about the gallstone attacks, that doesn't sound fun!
DD-i totally empathise on counting down to scan.
AFM- a bit tired as delivered training all day but just snuck home so I can do my last hr of work in a comfy tracksuit and at my own pace. No more fainty symptoms. At my mum's tonight-not sure how much longer she'll believe Im on medication, hence the not drinking. Got a private scan tom which I am counting down the hours to (25hrs to be precise!) but wont have nuchal scan until NHS one next Thur, so will still try and keep it quiet until then still.

CC - glad you're feeling ok-ish, I hope you've had a good day.
S - sorry to hear about the gallstone attacks, I hope they calm down for you.
DD - your scan will soon be here, glad the nausea and tiredness have settled down.
Rio - how exciting for your scan, not long now!
I'm knackered, I've been getting the last few students to complete their coursework (which should have been done two weeks ago) so I'm now having a lie down on my bed before picking O & L up.

DD - no, I've got no clue. They started when M was about 2 months, but left me to just have a low-fat diet but was told they'd get worse now I'm pregnant. Typically, they were just about to consider referring me when we got the bfp. Hope you enjoyed your peaceful lunch.
Rio - not long to go until the scan.
JJ - how weird of the mw to say that about being prescribed stuff. The anti-D is fine, it's just an extra jab and then checking baby blood group when they are born.

Rio - hope your scan goes well tomorrow
DS - quite right having a rest before you pick the kids up!
JJ - a fairly eventful appointment! I must remember to ask about GTT at my next appointment. My bmi is over 30 and it's never been mentioned in my pregnancies.
Sapphire - it might be worth keeping a food diary to see if you can identify triggers so that you can try and avoid them. Mines was red meat in particular minced beef. I think I had 1 or 2 attacks before I was pregnant but didn't know what they were. I ended up at a&E twice after calling nhs24, but even they didn't diagnose it. In the end it was me who asked the doctor if I might have them after reading if someone with similar symptoms on here! I hope that you don't get too many attacks .

JJ - that was an eventful appointment! There's been so many others who have been prescribed anti-sickness drugs, what else would the GP do? Daft MW. I have to have the GTT too :-(
S - that's a good idea of DD's about the food diary. I'm pretty sure I've seen others do this.
DD - I had a lovely rest before I got my little tornados!
I'm off now - I will keep checking here and I look forward to seeing you all on 2nd Tri.
To 1st tri in general - so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, good bye!
