Thought I'd start the thread for the first time, hope that's ok!
Early one for my today, but the boss is off so hoping that means it'll be a quiet day. Finally sorted out a painter last night to finish our bathroom and paint the stairs, our new carpet has been ready since August but we didn't want to fit it until we finished the decorating and with the baby stuff we've been a bit distracted! He's starting tomorrow though so hopefully it'll all be done soon. Looking forward to nice new, soft carpet!
Pregnancy wise I feel fine. my little bump is a bit achy but I think that's just growing pains. I *might* have felt something really gentle last night (like the popping people keep describing), but I'm so excited about feeling something I'm not sure if it's all in my head!
Hope everyone has good Thursdays!

Hey Flossy, I'm in early too. Yuck! Bet you're excited about those jobs being done. It's exciting!! (especially the feel of new soft carpet, lol) What colours are you having?
I'm getting achy, proddy pains for the first time. I was quite uncomfortable last night. Baby is awake this morning. Talked to him on the way to work, then shouted in a roadragey way at a moron who pulled out on me, so not sure baby is getting the best of me this morning ha ha. Am knackered, and then babysitting straight from work for a friend. I have a LOT I must do in the house this weekend. Where we've decorated 4 rooms and things (you know the 'stuff' you don't mean to accumulate but do) have been moved from area to area and they're 90% my stuff and also loads of my clothes and it's stressing me out, so I will set aside some serious time. Or I plan to!

Flossy, it'll be nice to get your decorating finished. Yay to movements :)
Counter, your work always sounds so busy I couldn't cope with working those kind of hours. Hope you get sorted at the weekend.
Same old here, back to work today, just finishing breakfast then going to have a shower and get ready. Yoga tonight.
Hi to everyone on later xx

Flossy It'll be nice to get the decorating done. I want some of our downstairs done and have been thinking about just getting someone in as I can't see us getting round to it.
Counter another one on the decorating! Sounds like you're getting through it though. Yay to lively baby!
Weekender is it general yoga you're doing or pregnancy yoga? I dis post natal with poppy and like it, was thinking of looking into the ante natal one.
Afm had a dreadful night and was awake most of it. No work today but plenty to do. Need to nip to sainsburys and see if they I've any long sleeve vests (for p!), then weave toddler group. This afternoon I have my flu jab which I'm not looking forward to. Last time my arm went hug and red and was so painful for about 4 days. Got to ring the car people and sort out the final deal on the new car. Then when p has her sleep I need to clean out the horsebox as we've decided to sell it and someone is coming to look at it tonight. At the moment though I'm sat on the sofa with a cuppa whilst p watches Peppa pig! We should probably get dressed at least!!

Flossy- Sounds nice getting the house done. i am still waiting to hear about moving in to our new house, I want to be in now lol. I have had those pains too. How lovely feeling movement.
Counter- Sounds like your drive to work was like mine, I had people pull out on me too! Sounds like you will have abusy weekend! Feels good once its all sorted though doesnt it.
Weekender- How are you getting on with the yoga? I have been looking for one in my area.
AR- Hope the flu jab goes ok, my arm was sore for a few days. Sounds like you have a busy day ahead! When are you getting the new car? I am looking for one this weekend.
AFM- Been having some achey pains in my tummy but i think its just stretching. Im very small built and have always been sensitive to things with my body so guessing its that. Off to see Micky Flanagan tonight so looking forward to that.

Flossy - hope all goes well with the house decorating! It'll fab having it all finished after the postponement. If you think you felt something then you probably did. When I first started feeling those bubbles popping it was very subtle and I did question whether it was wind! Ha! But more than likely it was your bubs!
Counter - you need to get ruthless this weekend! I have a couple of rules that I use to help clear out. The first one is that an item HAS to fit into one of 3 categories - beautiful, practical or sentimental. If it doesn't then it gets chucked. With clothes I have two boxes on top of the wardrobe that I put clothes into that aren't being worn often. I go back to the boxes after 3-4 months and if I haven't missed them then they get chucked! As I've got older I've got increasingly intolerant of too much 'stuff'. You can do it!
WE - hope the day flies in!
AR - You have such a busy day! My working day is quieter than that! Hope all goes well with the flu jab this year.
Bertie - I'm sure it will just be stretching pains. I've had all sorts of pains come and go over the weeks.
AFM - not much to report. Off to see the Goo Goo Dolls tonight and have the day off tomorrow to go to the Good Food show. I'm booked for the Mary Berry/Paul Hollywood demo! Baby was moving lots last night and H *thinks* he might have felt it! Bless!
Have a great day!

Sweetpea - you're an inspiration! I too am less tolerant of stuff so it is riling me no end that it needs sorting. I love the 3 categories, I will have a go with those, thanks. I am also going to bag up everything that is too small for me now to get it out of the way and in to the loft. I can get it down in the summer and have fun with 'new' clothes :)

Hi ladies, sorry not been on, went straight to my MILs after the school run and then needed to do some jobs at home. In a similar organising vein she's buying us some new wardrobes for Christmas, I can't wait as we just don't have enough storage so it'll make a real difference to us.
Pregnancy wise nothing to report really!

The little bit of decorating we have done we've done ourselves, but since we spent a lot of money on the new bathroom (knocking down a wall, adding a shower etc) we didn't want to ruin it with our amateur skills! Looking forward to it just being done, it'll be much quicker than doing bit ourselves so it's a bit of a treat! We 're going really light in the hallway as there aren't any windows so it's a bit dark at the moment. It's a bit boring but think it'll be a real difference!
Counter, you're working too hard! Hope the clearing out goes well, be ruthless (I really should take my own advice!)
Weekender, enjoy yoga. I had every intention of starting a 6 week course a couple of weeks ago but I missed the first one because of work then I didn't want to show up as the new girl. I'm rubbish at going to stuff on my own! I need a pregnant friend!
AR, sounds like you've had a busy day! Hope the flu jab wasn't too bad as I've got mine next week!
Bertie, I'm sure it's stretching pains. I seem to be getting more every day but hoping that's a good thing. Enjoy Mickey Flanagan tonight, seen a few posts of Facebook from people going, I'm jealous!
Isis, jealous of the new wardrobes. That's still on our to buy list as all our clothes are currently on clothes rails so our bedroom never looks tidy. Plus we have too many clothes anyway! Thinking pregnancy is a good excuse to have a bit of a clear out.
SP, I used to love the Goo Goo Dolls so much! Hope you have a good night! Sounds like you have a nice couple of days planned.
