Happy Thursday all!
It's my last day of 2nd tri today! It's been a pleasure, I could do 2nd tri pregnancy for a couple of years or more.
Enjoying a little lie in this morning as I'm doing the am nursery run. Was supposed to have a quiz night tonight buy 3/6 of my team have pulled out so I think it'll be a no-goer, may see if anyone else fancies a quick drink instead.
Look forward to seeing you all in the big bump club soon!

Congratulations on getting to third tri! Hope it's as plain sailing as 2nd tri for you, except for the indigestion.
Back to work for me today which is boring but less tiring than running round after the girls. Hoping my sciatica has eased today, i haven't quite made it out of bed yet to know.
Hope everyone has a nice day,

Good luck in 3rd tri, BG! Time is flying!
Hope you have a good day at work, Noggin.
I am 20 weeks today - how did that happen?! It's all a bit scary. Off to teach my favourite class today who always ask after the baby and say nice things so hopefully today will be no exception!

Morning ladies! I have not been on since the weekend, hope I haven't missed too much! Felt definite movement last night :-) still struggling with the tiredness but other than that all is ok.
BG - Enjoy moving to 3rd Tri!
Noggin - Hope work is ok for you.
TT - You have a cantaloupe! Half way through already :-)
Hello to everyone else, I'll try and get on later but got a busy day ahead as short-staffed today :-(
13/06/2013 at 07:58
BG good luck over in 3rd tri!
Noggin- hope work isn't too bad.
TT- 20 weeks, wow! Its flying by! Enjoy your lovely class today,
BE- hope today isnt too hectic for you!
AFM-14+2 today..time seems to be slowing for me currently. Enjoying the last four full days of our two week holiday in the sun as Im sure itll be a while until we get another holiday abroad! Luckily the being back to reality of work wont be too hard as we moved house just before we came away, only had a week in our new home so lots of exciting decorating and housey things to do!
Enjoy your days everyone and hi to all that follow! :-)

Congrats BG, I hope 3rd tri is as plain sailing for you!
Noggin, hope the sciatica isn't too bad. Have you tried an SI belt? Mine has been loads better since I wear it regularly. It's not hugely attractive though, gives a lovely muffin-top effect!
TT - enjoy the lovely class! Is this because you're doing various cover work? Congrats on being halfway through!
BE - yey for movement! It's very reassuring isn't it!
Gemini - oddly time will speed up when you're back at work and being kept busy with housey things!
AFM, I did 6 days at work last week and it nearly killed me, I really underestimated how much I need my weekends at the moment! I felt hungover at work all day Monday, ended up throwing up loads on Tuesday morn and called in sick, then back to feeling hungover yesterday at work. I feel a bit brighter today, although it's going to be a very hectic day (as will tomorrow) as we have a big funding crisis so I have to try and plan lessons, teach, assess, prepare students for exams, invigilate exams, recruit new students, devise new courses AND help figure out a way to sort our funding deficit within 6 weeks. Ha! 53 days of work left out of 132 days of pregnancy... I can cope with that balance
13/06/2013 at 08:36
Noggin - indigestion, leg cramps, back ache... It's definitely time for me to grace the 3rd tri bench! I know what you mean about going to work for a rest, and I only have one child to run round after.
TT - happy half way day! Hope your class love up to expectation!
BE - yay for feeling movements! Hope you get some rest soon, nearly the weekend x
Gemini - ooh lucky you being in the sun, try to bring it back with you! Lots of exciting things going on for you, I'm sure before you know it you'll be 30-something weeks.
I swapped bed sides with H last night, I hate facing anyone when I'm sleeping so have moved to the left side of the bed so I can sleep on my left and slept really well with no leg cramps for the first night in a while.
I suggested it on Tuesday night to H and he grows about it and said 'Urgh, at the weekend when we change bed sheets if you MUST'. Then when I went to bed last night he was on 'my' side and had swapped the phone chargers and bedside cabinets over, bless him. Not sure why he had to make such a fuss the night before though.

Mrs 50's - sounds stressful just reading all that! At least the end is in sight x
13/06/2013 at 08:46
BG - Good luck with the 3rd tri!
G - Enjoy the sun is grey and horrible here today!
AFM - I'm 15 weeks today and feel tired and don't want to be at work! I think its because I know I'm off for 2 weeks after tomorrow! Off to sunny Spain for a week then a week of being lazy at home! (Husabnds parents live there so nice cheap hols!) Dreading getting in my swimsuit put on my bikini the other day look like a fat sausage :(
13/06/2013 at 09:19
Bg - Going to miss you! 3rd tri are lucky to have you
Noggin - Hope the sciatica is a bit better today
Tina - That fruit is getting big now! I am nearly at melon stage too!
BE - Hope the day is not too stressful x
Gemini - Very jealous of your holiday. Where are you off to?
Mrs 50s - Im tired just reading all that! Try not to overdo it :-)
Rosy lee - I got really tired around 15 too, no one will care what you look like in your swimmers, you are growing a baby :-) I did hate that stage though, much happier now I have an obvious bump
AFM - Scan day tomorrow! I am both scared and excited! 8.30am is my appointment time. Hoping to be on here for 10am with good news and details of if I am team pink or blue xxxx
Oh I also had my first night with my Summer maternity pillow last night. Amazing! I am in love with it!
13/06/2013 at 09:24
BG- I can't believe you're going to third tri already. Time is going far too quickly its scary. I agree with you about 2nd tri, I'm more than happy to stay here a good while longer
Noggin- hope your sciatica isn't too bad
TT enjoy work. Have you had your scan yet?
BE nice to be feeling movement
G- enjoy the last of your hol, sounds like you'll be busy when you get back
50s sounds like a very busy time at work, hope you're not too ill.
RL enjoy your hols
AFM. Physio went well yesterday. She said I have spd and showed me some exercises to do to help. She also did some weird wiggling thing on my pelvis which has helped loads and said I can make another appointment to go back with H and she will show him how to do it so that's good.
Rainy day here so not much planned. Will venture out to a dance and play group with W later but that's about it I think
JT 22 weeks

BG can't believe you are of to 3rd tri time is flying by!
Noggin hope work is not to bad.
Tina that's cute that they ask after the baby
Gemeni enjoy the rest of your holiday.
Mrs 50's I hope you feel better soon.
Rosy Lee have a lovely holiday!
Afm I have yet another cold. I have the midwife coming round this morning, I have a list if things to ask, mainly about my panic attacks I haven't been out the house for a week because of them.
13/06/2013 at 09:26
LP good luck with your scan tomorrow. At least having it early in the morning means they shouldn't be running too behind with appointments so you won't have to wait long. This time tomorrow you'll hopefully know the sex!
13/06/2013 at 09:35
LP good luck with your scan tomorrow.
13/06/2013 at 09:45
BG - H and I need to swap sides of the bed soon too, mainly because the baby's crib will be on his side otherwise. He is making a right fuss about it as well, you'd think I was asking him to chop a limb off or something!? Good luck on 3rd tri, hopefully it is all plain sailing for you. See you there in a couple of weeks.
Noggin - hopefully work isn't too stressful for you and your sciatica doesn't play you up too much today.
TT - yay for 20 weeks! Have fun with your class today, they sound lovely.
BE - hope your day isn't too manic.
Gemini - time has been going slowly for me too, I know what you mean, I think it's because I'm generally a very impatient person! Enjoy your last few days of your holiday :)
Mrs 50s - wow your day sounds exhausting, hope you manage to get it all done and aren't too wiped out from it. Take it easy!
Rosy - ooh nice to have a break to look forward to, hope the time flies!
LP - might have to look in to one of those pillows, I am using an old v-shaped one of H's Grandma's at the moment which is ok but I can't seem to keep it in the bed with me! Not long til scan now! Hope it goes ok x
JT - bad news about the SPD but glad the physio helped. That's good that she will show your H what he can do to help :)
ViV - sorry to hear you are having panic attacks atm, that must be awful. Hopefully you can have a good chat with your MW tomorrow and she can advise you. Rest up, hope your cold goes soon xxx
AFM - better night's sleep last night so feeling ok this morning. I eventually went home at lunchtime and slept on the sofa yesterday so am definitely more rested. Should be picking up my MATB1 form later and having a meeting with my HR rep tomorrow or Monday to sort out ML start date, I feel like I really need an end date in sight at the moment!
13/06/2013 at 10:08
BG – Will be sorry to see you leave here lovely, but delighted you are now on the home stretch!! See you over there shortly x
Noggin – Hope you are in less pain today
TT – Hooray to 20 weeks. Half way there x
BE – Yay to feeling the first flutters, they will just get stronger from here on in, its so lovely.
Gemini – Hopefully when you are at work time will fly by!
50s – 53 days of work left – how scary is that?! Hehe
RL – the tiredness will go soon. I felt like death for the first 15/16 weeks but have perked up a good bit now, hang in there!
LP – Exciting that scan day is here! Hopefully your bubba is better behaved than mines was and is cooperative enough to get all the details you need/want!
JT – Glad physio went well lovely. Good that H can be shown how to help too!
Viv – Sorry to hear you have another cold. The joys of pregnancy. Hope the MW can offer some advice re the panic attacks x
Popcorn – Glad you are feeling more rested. I’m dying to get my MATB1 so I can set an official date to stop. I already know when it will be but feel like its not definite til I’ve talked it through with the boss!
AFM – nothing much new to report. Our little madam is getting more wriggly every day. I love it! I’ve noticed she moves a lot when I’m on the bus to and from work, coincidence or I wonder if she can feel the motion?! We are just plodding along til next midwife appointment which is next week. I am so much more relaxed now (obviously) since she got the ok from scan the other day, feel like a whole new person!
13/06/2013 at 10:33
Late to the party today!
BG- Will be sorry to see you go! Hope 3rd tri is a breeze :) See you there in 7 weeks!
Noggin- Hope your sciatica has dissapeared and you can have a more relaxed day at work.
TT- I'm 20+1 today and don't know where the weeks are going! I'm not too sure I like you fruit comparison on your ticker.. getting a little too big! haha
Gemini- Enjoy your time in the sunshine because we are not having too much of it here! I'm sure time will fly with how busy you will be when you get home. Very exciting!
Mrs50s- I feelt tired just reading what you have going on at work! I know what you mean about needing weekends, I couldn't cope working any more hours! I don't feel bad during the days but roll into bed every night and I am fast asleep within 2 seconds of my head hitting the pillow.
Rosy Lee- A lovely holiday will do you the world of good and I'm sure you don't look like a fat sausage! Have a lovely time :)
LP- So excited for your scan! Glad it is nice and early so we don't have to wait too long. Hope everything goes okay and we can find out which team you are on.
JT- Glad physio went well. Have a lovely day whatever the weather.
Viv- sorry to hear you are suffering with panic attacks. Hope things get better soon and the midwife has some good advice to help you through xx
Popcorn- I feel like the end is still so far away! I did have a meeting with my boss yesterday and discussed when I am possibly thinking of going on maternity. I won't get my MATB1 form until 25+2 so nothing will be official until then.
AFM- Exhausted today. Next door is a rented house and they have 6 conifers planted right against a 3ft wall as you walk out into the back garden. They hadn't maintained the trees at all and they were over 30ft high and getting completely out of hand. The view from H's daughters window was mostly trees. We had a quote of about £500 to have them reduced to about 15ft but because I could think of a million better things to spend the money on rather than trees which aren't even ours I managed to talk H and my brother into chopping them down last night. It took 4 and a half hours and we now have a HUGE pile of conifers (about 6ft high and 8-10 ft across) stuck in our back garden which we have to shift. So frustrating because they are not even our bloody trees! Phoned the council to see if they could offer any help and was told it would be approx £107.10/ per hour plus the cost of any machinery they need to complete the job. Getting H to sort a van out and going to take it all to the tip. So even though I obviously wasn't doing any of the hard work I didn't get to bed until about 12.30 last night. Hoping for a quiet day in work today and praying for 5pm!
13/06/2013 at 10:34
Mrs Mack- Can imagine how much more relieved you feel now after your scan the other day. Baby movements are lovely :) Maybe she is protesting to you going to work and then getting excited to have finished!? haha
13/06/2013 at 10:46
LP - best of luck for the scan
Popcorn - funnily enough we had to swap when Alex was born so H was next to the cot and could pass him to me as I couldn't due to my section. Only lasted a week before H would fall asleep and I'd have to get up to put the baby back
MrsM - lovely that you can relax now

Sam, that sounds like a lot of work, I'd be tempted to send next doors landlord a bill!
