Hi ladies, hope you are all doing well. Not much happening here baby-wise, Baxter goes from next to nothing to crazy disco across every couple of days. I'm sticking to my healthy eating but that only started Monday ha ha. Am absolutely exhausted. Work is a challenge and gets stressy but the good news is that it's looking wayyy more likely the group will stay stable. Huge weight off! You think you're not worrying about something but in reality you *so* are, lol. Haven't enjoyed contemplating redundancy at 6mth preg. I'm doing 6 day weeks all this month but paying my mum for extra cleaning/kitchen duties and to do sorting of spare rooms ready for decorating etc whilst I'm at work, hubby does cooking and shopping and other house stuff so I'm lucky that my non-work time is pretty much total down-time. Just how I like it!! :D
Nearly the weekend!

Counter it's a good job you've got all that help at home, you must be exhausted. Big relief about your company though, do you think there'll be a job for you to come back to?
AFM- nothing to report, just ticking along. Still got a sore tooth and it's my follow up tomorrow, hoping he'll X-ray me and get to the bottom of it.

Job should be fine Imp, I'm not taking traditional mat leave, but going back quickly for a few hours per week and building back up to full-time over 7 months. We've got a few more things to sort until it's certain but the idea of being able to stay... Fantastic.
Hopefully tooth's days are numbered then! A girl in my team spent yesterday with frozen peas held to her face! She's too frightened to go but goes through hell with wisdom teeth every 2-3 months. Couldn't do it, myself!

Counter will your mum come to mine aswell lol
Sorry about the tooth Hun, I think tooth ache is the worst pain ever, although I'm sure I won't say that in 18 weeks time haha
Afm nothing really baby wise other than I had such bad trapped wind last night I thought I was in labour, and woke up with cramp in my leg that made me cry :-(
On the plus side I was very nervous about SMP and affording to live so we looked to remortgage our house and release some equity, well it's all gone through :-) and our mortgage payments have dropped nearly £200! So I can relax and breathe !

Morning ladies :)
Counter - cor, your Mum is a star, I'm so pleased to hear you have some job security
Imp - sorry to hear you are still suffering with your tooth, I hope it goes ok tomorrow
Monnie - the trapped wind sounds nasty, I hope it eases for you today and wow good job on releasing equity, I'm starting to worry about the SMP and really need to save up big time as we can't afford to lose a big chunk of my salary
AR - that ligament pain does not sound nice :( I hope you get some relief from that and enjoy your day at home and well done on your boss agreeing to your proposal
AFM - got the consultant appt today, I'm really nervous as I have no idea on what to expect then we have our 20wk scan on Tuesday, I don't have to say that I'm nervous for that either haha. Do any of you ladies take vitamins or supplements during 2nd Tri? At the meeting today I will mention my right hip giving me jip during the night it doesn't matter if I lay on that side or not, it feels like spiders crawling over and then goes numb. My Mum has been going mental over knitting little cardis and jackets, they are so cute though hehe.
Hi to all that follow :) xx

Monnie and AR - that's brill news for you both. Really happy for you. Not worrying about that stuff makes like so much easier!
If anyone wants to pay my mum the going rate she'd be up for it - but you'd get nowt for free, mind! Strictly business me and my mum, lol.
LeeLee, good luck at appointment. Are you finding out the gender at next week's scan? I forgot to take my vits ages ago and then just stopped. But I was feeling great then, I probably need to fish them. Post a pic sometime of the knitted stuff, my Harry had lots of knitted things from my mum, I loved it!

Counter- great news about work, atleast you no longer have that to worry about. Wish i had someone to help me around the house! Although my nan does like to do my ironing :)
Imp- Hope they sort our tooth out fot you tomorrow, toothache is the worst!
AR- Bet you feel relieved now you have sorted out work. I am hoping to do just 2 days when I finish mat leave, not sure where yet though! I have been getting those shooting pains too! Also googled and seems common. Just not nice!
Monnie- That will helop you alot then and you wont have to worry over money. I get alot of cramp too, its horrible.
LeeLee- good luck with the consultant, hope it all goes well. I still take pregnecare as have from the beginning and midwife said it's fine to continue. I get crawling feelings near my hip when I am on my side but that's the baby lol. Bless your mum, bet they are so cute. My nan has done the same with blankets.
AFM- Woke up for 3 wees in the night, but had a very acive girl keeping me company. Very tired today but think thats because of my cold too, nearly the weekend though! Our pram has been delivered this mornin,g so looking forward to seeing that tonight when I get home.

I am having my bloods next week ready for my 28 week midwife app, do I have to have lucozaide or is that only for GTT? My midwife didn't mention having it so I assume it's just bloods for other things?

Bertie, I was supposed to go this week and she didn't say anything about anything, just said to pop along when I was free. She said the iron result would be useful.

Hello again :)
The consultant was running an hour behind, oh well. She said because of my age and BMI they have suggested that I can be induced at 39 weeks, this is totally my decision if I wish to do this. She checked the scan pic of my ovaries and said there is nothing to worry about and the cyst on my ovary is 3cm x 4cm they will measure it again on Tues at my 20 wk scan. I also will have growth scans at 32 and 36 wks, which I don't mind at all :) The appt went ok, she answered some of my concerns which were all passed as being pregnancy symptoms.
Counter - we are thinking about finding out the colour but this isn't totally decided yet. You didn't find out, did you? xx

Just popping on quickly as I've been away from here for ages. Work commitments and visiting friends and family have been keeping me away-I could do with a few days rest! Other than that all is well here. Sorry about the lack of personals; I'll come on tomorrow to post properly.

Good news that nothing to worry about LeeLee! And extra bonus scans, lovely! No, we've not found out. We really don't have a reason to need to know and I love that it's an added bit of mystery/excitement for us and also hubby's mum :)
